One of our account reps here at work has both a beeper and a cellphone. Let me guess - he has the beeper so that his wife can call that to remind him that she called his cellphone. I also have to carry a pager. I work for xerox corp in the service end of the business. If you have one of our products and turn in a service call, I am required to phone you back within 30 minutes..... no questions asked and no excuses if I don't do so. ; There are simply too many places where cell phones don't work and I must be there in those places for more than 30 minutes. Pagers work almost everywhere in central Oklahoma, so we carry pagers, cell phones that are also radio's. The radio part lets me directly talk to anyone on our team or individuals within Oklahoma and parts of Arkansas. That is very good for me and for our customers. That is why I must have both.
