I'm a christian and i do think that in some cases abortion is acceptable. I had a friend who was sexually abused by her brother. She ended up getting pregnant she was only 15 her Dad blamed her and beat he unmercifully she took to drinking and drugs she really did just want to end her life in a really painful way she resented the life inside her and blamed herself for it. In the end she tried to kill her self countless times, she ended up in hospital comatos for 5 weeks from taking weed killer, she has ended up blind from it and has lost her baby but she says that if she had been given the option of abortion she would have taken it at the beginning because she wouldn't have put herself through that and she wouldn't have put her child through that!

In most cases of incest the child is born disformed or/and mentally disabled. Either way Neither of these Children would have led full lives

Lostlamb,

I am truly sorry for what happened to your friend. It is a sad situation that things like this take place in America. However, your friend did make the decision to drink, do drugs, and attempt to committ suicide. The baby most likely would have been normal and if nothing else, there are myriads of families wanting to adopt children.

As for as deformities, who are we to judge what makes a deformity serious? Would you consider blindness a deformity? If so, let me remind you several blind musicians have left their mark upon the field of music. One of the greatest blind musicians passed away not too awful long ago-Ray Charles. Ronnie Milsap, of country music fame, was also born blind but yet is one of the best piano players and singers the world will know. Lesser known is a gentleman by the name of Leon Payne who was born blind. For country officianados, Payne will always be remembered as the author of great songs such as the Hank Williams hit "Lost Highway." Even people with deformities can have a positive place in this world!

to think that poeple in today's society can be so shallow makes me sick...

My ex-partner (before i became a Christian) had an abortion, behind my back, and with my money...

This ruined our relationship i hated her for it and she for some reason blamed me...

and to think that she now has 4 children all to different fathers...

she is abusive to men and her children and it seems that as soon as she has a kid to them she gets rid of him and finds a new one...

people like her should be fixed up and made to donate their reproductive organs to those who can't have children...

cause she sure doesn't deserve them!!!

where did you get this article????

interesting,

I know that one year, there was a "doctor" (if you wish to call him that) in wichita ks, that committed over 2000 acts ( yes, two thousand) of murder by abortion in one year, thats right, just one year.....

and we are upset about two conflicts that are going on at the same time and have lost less men total, then any other conflict, or for that mater lost less then probably any abortionist has taken.....

mike

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I have stood in front of the office of this murdering slug in protest. People from every state come to wichita to kill there babies, anything goes for this animal. I so cringe for I too have talked with "christian" one being a pastor of a church, who some how believe that in some cases abortion is ok, and I am not talking about real physical danger to the mother. I am so ashamed of my state on this issue. We are such a "strong" republican state yet year after year our pathetic Governors and senators prove us otherwise.

We need much prayer.

God Bless,

Kansas Dad

We live in such a selfish world. Aborting a child is ultimately selfishness: it takes a human life, usually so that the mother will not be inconvenienced. Yes, sometimes the inconveniences are huge...but then why take the child's life? Why not have the child, then give him/her up for adoption? Despite the supposed overpopulation of the world, there are still thousands of couples out there who desperately want a child, and in giving an "unwanted" baby up for adoption, you would be giving them one of the greatest joys, and giving the child a chance at a life full of love.

In most cases of incest the child is born disformed or/and mentally disabled. Either way Neither of these Children would have led full lives

In the case of a "deformed" or "handicapped" baby: who are we to judge whether they will live full lives or not?? If you don't understand my meaning, watch "I am Sam"...it's a movie about a disabled man trying to raise his daughter, and it speaks to the issue of a handicapped person living a full life. If you still don't understand, read any of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books (yes, they have them at the library). Guaranteed you will find at least one story (and these stories are true!) of a disabled child overcoming seemingly unbeatable odds.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
