I just love that headline lol. Microsoft promotes software that is less annoying as its selling point?

The next version of Microsoft Windows, the software that defines the computing experience for most people, will nag users much less than its much-maligned predecessor, Vista.

For the story see here.

'nag"? that was an understatement. Windows has always been bossy

Nag? How about Life without stupid permission pop-ups three and four deep. When I want to delete a file, I want to delete it, not have to get permission from my mother, the mayor and three members of the State legislature. Vista is way annoying.

All the more reason to either stay with XP or format Vista and run Linux. The third option is buy a Mac, but I don't have the money for that. I like the Mac commercials though......

Thanks for this. I use Vista all day for work, and people that use Flash know that it causes a hinderance in entering & exiting symbols/objects.

Also, I've sometimes installed something, and the icon did not appear on the desktop. And they get paid nicely for it. So- :emot-hug:

Well, all those windows isn't nearly annoying as coming home to dos 5.0 and finding that your son for the second time in a month had typed (delete *.*) while in the root directory.
