....But your saying that if I would have asked your permission and had done these things it would have been ok?! But since I can here and spoke truth and showed a picture, but I did not have your blessing then now I'm sinning?" He would not respond but say that he was not going to play my games.

I told him that the Lord put it in my hard to be honest and speak the truth regardless of what would happen. I have a clear conscience. I'm saddened though b/c he and his wife are saying directly and indirectly to the other people from the church that I'm a lier, divider, satan is using me and for people to stay away because all who say these thing are a cancer in the church that can distroy it. They say I know longer have the spirit of God,but instead the devil is using me and others that had concern. The wife said from the pulpit while she played the piano( she is the worship team leader) " People don't let the devil say things to you that will still your miracle and your blessing..Don't listen to it or be part of it!!" Please keep me in your prayers and my God be gloryfied in everything..Always..Thanks

Pilla, you and your husband are correct to question what you feel is not right. Hiding behind his authority and not seeking proof when proof is requested is wrong. This is an abuse of his authority and should be addressed. A true follower of the Lord would do all they can to bring a person back to Him. If the pastor believes you left the flock, where is his love to bring you back? Do not feel bad. Stand strong in the Lord and the truth will set you free. The division comes from the pulpit in this case. IF these miracles did happen, they should be brought to light so all can believe. To force this on someone just because he said so, is wrong.

Scripture tells us that if a brother will not listen, then bring it in front of the church and let them decide. Matthew 18:15-17 tells us ... Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that

HELLO PILLA,

There is nothing wrong with questioning what u think is wrong. Paul commended the beroean christians for doing this. God's standard is his word. Whatever we hear in church, we must also confirm in God's word. Furthermore, Paul advises us to test all spirits.

I have never heard of judgment by gold or instructions in the bible to ask God for Gold dust or gold fillings in our teeth!!

As per the offering in his bags.... well the bible tells us that we give offerings to take care of the church and other in christians in need.

I think you were right to question them. his goes to emphasize the importance of KNOWING the word of God. Many false teachers have risen....many more are still coming. We MUST be grounded in God's pure, unadulterated word.

Jesus Loves You.

Phil.2:13

Ok, here it goes. I need other mature christians advice with this!!! I went to a christain conference. It was free. There was an evangelist there who is very knowledgeable in scripture. He spoke for over 2hrs and he had 6helps for audience that word read. if one word was looked over or miss-said he knew and would correct. He had the bibile memorized. He was there for 4days. He calims to have the gift of miracles. OK. He began to pray for God to give people GOLD teeth and other for flat feet to be healed. I had never heard of this..why?know special reason. He also said at the end to everyone.."dry off your hands..God is going to send an angel to place gold powder on your hand as comfermation. I and many others "obeyed" the "man of God." OK. The first night I was like wow my hand and shinnery..wow.. and for many others there. He had also told several people they had "gold fillings" in there mouth. He call all who wanted to see to go up and look in the persons mouth. I was called to go up by my pastor.. I went and I saw...NO GOLD FILLINGS!!!!!I was distured to say the very least. Why because I am a dental hygienist in Wa state and yes I have seen many times at work gold in the mouth..There were people the crying and shaking due to the excitement that God had given them gold. He did this for all four nights and I never saw a single gold filling that he calimed was there. Others would go up and look and smile and walk away..After the second day of this, I approached the pastor and asked him to stop was has happening because it was wrong. I said he's caliming there gold when there is not. At the end of ever night, I would pik up his own offering and have people go up and place it into his carry on ludgage and say as you come up to bless me ..make you request known to God and he will give it to you. This had never been done b4 in the church. They would pick up all offering for the ministers and register it in the church and write a check. AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO THINKS THIS IS WRONG???? i KNOW SCRIPTURE AND THIS SEEMS WRONG. I have been told terrible things that I am going to be condemed by Gold for questioning what was happening or wanting clarification.Waht do you all think? He did these thing the entire 4 days. :emot-questioned::noidea:

Blessings sister :whistling:

I am so glad that you asked this question. Last week my husband and I met an old friend and we went for coffee. While chatting away he was going on and on and on about this conference they went to (him and his wife) and how this "pastor/evangelist" started praying for gold and exactly the same story you just told. I was immediately on the defense but words lacked me, for we were in a public cafe, and with my husband being so far removed from God, I didn't want to confuse him even more.

This friend of ours said it was an evangelist from the USA, so I gather it might be the same guy, because he said it's a very "popular evangelist and a great man of God" and the description you gave, sounds exactly like our friend said. He also told us that they went home that evening (after the 3-4 days) and their hands had gold and silver on it, and their hair were full of gold dust! Yeah right!

My concern is for the people who are sooo "grounded" in God's Word, and who know all the scriptures by heart, but they still believe the LIE!! I don't have nearly as much bible knowledge as this friend of ours and I therefore felt like I was going to hit a brickwall anyway if I try and confront him about it.

Guess what I want to say is that I am with you on this one! Don't be silenced by opposition! Stand your ground, both you and your husband. It is clear to me, that among all those people who attended that conference where you were, that you are grounded firm in truth and what is right. God gave you this voice to speak out against this false preaching, and I am sure He will honour you and your husband.

Go with God!

Much love

Esther

Esther pray for your friends and that God will reviel the truth. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about all the damage that this person's actions have caused. :whistling: There is no excuse!I'm still shocked. There is an awesome article the is called"TO Judge of not to Judge." found at www.pfo.org/notjudge.htm I thank God for leading me to it. It expresses my reasoning 100% for doing what I did.

My husband got a call today from one of my brother- in -laws and he said to my husband," What is your wife trying to do...Distroy our church!!" My husband (ALex) replied," Your concerned about my wife speaking the truth with facts, but yet you accept an ovious lie as truth and you defend the Pastor, his wife and that evangelist to the death. Since when have you know my wife to be a lier? You and I both know that she is one of the most honest people you have ever met." My husband said," We both will stand on facts and truth.Where do you stand?" May God help us.

In the past it has been seen the pastor ostrosize people at our church until they left and then he would preach about how God would give the church 10more members to replace the rebellious and deviders that left. My husband and I have decided that we will not be ran out. Believe me,I want to go. I do. I'm tiered! I don't want to care..but I do. I care for all that are being decieved. It causes me,literally-physical pain,oh it hurts deep.It makes me sick to think that the body is soo quick to accept anything that is said to us as long as it is said from the pulpit. There is obious sin in the body, but yet we ignore it and then call it GOD"S WILL> What the HECK>>I"M I LOOSING ME MIND OR WHAT? Sorry, please forgive me outburst  :

I'm really thankful for all of your replies. Ilook forward everyday to read them. They truly strenthen me. I haven't been able to seek spiritual advice without feeling that people are not willing to reason with us. Thank you all very much and God Bless.

I'm going to write a letter to the board and add a copy of the acticle that I mentioned above"TO judge or not to judge" I hear that the Pastor had called a meeting and that he is talking negatively about the fact that I had showed the gold teeth picture to people in the church. Please keep my husband ALex, My self and my 3 kids in your prayer. Pray can do great and awesome things. God speed!

From To Judge or Not to Judge.

Proper discernment is our privilege and right. The work is worth the effort and the reward will be not only the favor and blessing of God but our ability to truly enrich the lives of others.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
