Greetings All,

I personally think that the reason we do not see more of this is because of the moral fibre of our society today. I think it is in direct connection with the state the church is in today.

I just received the following from Anzac Prophetic via Harvest Time Ministries this morning and I believe it states accurately what the condition of the church is today. I mean "church" as opposed to "the saints of God", which today often have no correlation.

The End Times: a vision by Paul Cain

by Terry Sullivant

Paul has had several specific burdens and prophetic expectations for the Body of Christ today and in the days to come. He has had reoccurring visions concerning the end times, which he believes are rapidly approaching. About 30 years ago the Lord gave Paul a vision that has occurred to Paul more than 100 times and still reoccurs to this day.

It is a vision of the last days when sports stadiums all over the United States are filled with thousands of people. In this vision, people are being healed and miracles are happening to thousands in the name of Jesus Christ. People are turning to the Lord in droves and the whole nation is in revival. It seemed the whole earth was turning to Christ.

Television news reporters are broadcasting stories of resurrections and miracle healings. None of the secular reporters could get near the men on the platform. They did not know who the men were. Paul described them as "almost faceless men." He hears a TV anchorman saying, "There are no sporting events to report tonight because all the stadiums, ball parks and arenas are being used for large revival meetings and are filled with people crying, ''Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord."

In these visions, Paul saw these men minister for three days and nights without food, water or change of clothing. Supernatural strength enabled them to continue for these long periods. In the vision, Paul is standing at the crossroads of life and sees a billboard that says, "Joel's army now in training." People are being trained to walk in obedience to Jesus. They have learned patience and endurance, have the power of God and having done all, they know how to stand against the enemy.

"They will have the mind of Christ," Paul said. "They will partake of the heavenly calling and be a new breed, God's dread champions." Those ministries will be filled with such passion for Jesus and the power of the Spirit that the host of darkness will dread their impact.

Paul said in the midst of the Laodicean church age of lethargy and apathy, that God was preparing in hiddenness an army to pull down enemy strongholds, and go forth in the power of God and have pure and undefiled religion.

"He's going to do this with a people who have stripped themselves and separated themselves from the world, the flesh and the devil," Paul said. "They will realize the end time is here and that things are in a mess and things at the end time are different. Just as it required total sacrifice on the part of the disciples to begin this thing, it will require an equal commitment from us to complete the task in the end times. Joe's mighty army, as described in Joel Ch. 2 is the army of God - not a wicked army, as some have thought. They are the ones with 'feet of iron not mixed with clay', with the wisdom of God alone, not imitators of other men of God. Some of the superstars of the Church will fall. The Lord will have an army of holy anointed vessels to usher in His kingdom so that no one man can take credit for it. It will be to the glory of God alone."

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Let me just quote some scriptures which I believe support this prophecy:

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Thess 2:1-4 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Rev 3:14-16 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Rev 7:13-14 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This last verse pertains to the last days one world religious government which shall rule over all the earth. The False Prophet will lead the apostate church right into the grips of Babylon.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I'm confused, the article Paul Cain wrote speaks of a great revival. Then you gave Scripture as to why his vision is supported yet the Scriptures you gave speaks of apostasy. Night and day....can you please explain??????

Hehe...You noticed that too.

I believe based on scripture that during the tribulation there will be a great falling away as spoken Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.

But I also believe that just before the coming of the Lord there will be a great revival spoken of by Joel the prophet this will also happen during the tribulation but just before the coming of the lord.

I believe the tribulation will bring about the great falling away. It will be a trying time for Believers and many will deny God and fall away. Yet at the same time the Church will be awaken and the true believers will grow while the fake and half hearted phonies fall away.

Its much like when you prune a plant. You trim the unproductive branches off so that the plant will have new life and grow exceedling healthy and full and produce much fruit.

Joel

14Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land in the house of the Lord, your God, and cry to the Lord [in penitent pleadings].

15Alas for the day! For the day of [the judgment of] the Lord is at hand, and as a destructive tempest from the Almighty will it come.(3)

This refers to Judgment day.

Joel also speaks of the Day of the Lord which is His wrath at the end of days.

16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation; assemble the elderly people, gather the children and the nursing infants; let the bridegroom [who is legally exempt from attending] go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her closet. [None is exempt from the humiliation.]

This again refers to His gathering of his elect at the end of days.

I see nothing but judgment in Joel. Can you give me an exact Scripture of this great revival????

Personally, I think papal Rome, being the super-religion as it is, will institute Sunday Laws making it mandatory to worship on Sundays instead of the real Sabbath which is Saturday. (we worship on Sunday now but it is not mandatory) Somehow commerce will be tied into this (buying and selling), By making Sunday Laws mandatory they are breaking the 4th Commandment - Remember the Sabath day and it holy. That is the only command pertaining to God - and we are not to ignor it despite what the world is doing.

You can think I'm crazy if you'd like, just please remember this if/when you hear of Sunday Laws being instituted. And if/when you see this, please don't follow them.

Yes,

Joel speaks of Judgement and Restoration.

I was referring to Joel 2 about the early and latter rain.

Joe 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

Joe 2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Joe 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joe 2:27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

I believe God is going to purify his Church in the last days and the Chruch will be a pure bride not tainted by this world. She we be beutiful and strong. I do not believe that God's Chruch will go out in defeat as many preach. The bible speaks of the second coming as of a marriage where the bride meets the groom. The bride spends much time making her self ready and beutiful for the groom.

I beleive the great falling away is nothing more then a purging that God is going to allow in the last days to test and try his Church so the all that is left is a pure bride.

Amen

THE LATTER RAIN DECEPTION

by David L. Harris

(New Age Adversary Bulletin & Old Time Gospel Advocate, Summer 1999) God's promise to give the Holy Spirit to Israel. God's prophet Joel announced God's plan to pour the Holy Spirit on Israel and upon all flesh. This promise to give the Holy Spirit, given in Joel 2:28, was referred to by Jesus, Luke 11:13, when he spoke of asking the Father for blessings in prayer. The Holy Spirit was available then to those that asked for it. Peter also mentioned the promise of the Holy Spirit for Israel in his sermon to the people of Jerusalem immediately after the Holy Ghost was poured on the hundred and twenty in the upper room. At that time any that would repent and be baptized would receive the promise of the Holy Spirit.

The citizens of Jerusalem had heard the hundred and twenty speaking in tongues and thought they were drunk, but Peter let them know the utterances in tongues were of the Holy Ghost. By reading the rest of the books of Acts we find, however, that the majority of the Jews did not and would not believe in Jesus, repent and get baptized either in water or by the Spirit. Therefore the prophecy of the pouring out of the Spirit upon all flesh was not fully completed at that time.

A simple reading of the entire book of Joel will reveal that the promise of the Holy Spirit being poured out on all flesh has a specific place in sequence of events that Joel prophesied. This glorious promise will not be fulfilled until after the war of Armageddon, Joel 2:1-10. The promise also shall not be fulfilled until after Israel as a nation repents Joel 2:12-17. Verse 28 of Joel 2 states: "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I shall pour out my spirit upon all flesh.. " The word afterward refers to the events of verses 1 through 17 of chapter 2, which include Armageddon, and the national repentance of Israel. Joel calls the blessings that come upon Israel after Armageddon and national repentance the latter rain. Those blessings are both a physical restoration of the fruitfulness of the land of Israel, Joel 2:21-27, and the pouring out of the Spirit, Joel 2:28-32.

At the beginning of the twentieth century there was a revival of speaking in tongues among certain churches. That practice spread among Protestants and produced several new denominations of churches that collectively call themselves, and are called by others, Pentecostals. When the tongues phenomena spread a little later among the Roman Catholics they chose to call themselves Charismatics. Frequently both Pentecostals and Charismatics claim they are experiencing the blessings of the latter rain as prophesied by Joel.

There is no promise of a latter rain for the church. The latter rain is promised only to the nation of Israel. The people of the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches are deceived about the latter rain promise. They want an inheritance before the proper time. They are like the prodigal son, dead and lost, squandering their substance on riotous living. You can see them now merging in the ecumenical movement to form the end time harlot church.

Beloved reader, how many souls do you know who are presently caught up in one or another manifestation of the Latter Rain Deception? I know some souls who are most precious to my soul yet they are caught up in this deception and headed for destruction unless the Lord intervenes. Would you join me in prayer that the precious souls will recover themselves out of the snare of he devil, who are taken by him at his will?

Even Jesus did miracles and healings on the Sabbath - so what are you talking about???? And keeping it holy WOULD BE WORSHIPPING!!!! But we do that on Sunday now - just as papal Rome has deemed and even admits to it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
