No matter how dark or hopeless things may seem, the Lord lifts us up on wings of eagles, dear sister. I'll continue to share when I'm led here to write and, so long as I'm faithful to the testimony, it will become apparent how the circumstances of my birth prepared me for my calling in the Lord. What did the Son of God call upon me to do? To serve the sick and the needy, to stand as a son for the childless, and give to others just as He gives to me. I've been through dark days and terrible times, and here I am now. I'm here because of Him!2 points

@NConly While unedifying events in the world, as foretold, will indeed occur, the pilgrim church has the privilege of serving the Lord Jesus in the Gospel, looking to Him (Hebrews 12.2), in the light of His return for the church, as per the passage you quoted. (This is how I would see it...)2 points

Hello Marilyn, I want to thank you too, for such a clear portrayal of prophetic events. Looking at the dramatic turn of events in the world at the moment, and the potential changes that are likely to take place as a result, your study has helped to keep my mind on the main object in view for us as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the appearing of Christ in glory, and His coming to reign in righteousness. It makes the problems of this present day pale into insignificance in comparison. Thank you, In Christ Jesus Chris1 point

The Islam Imams will tell us that he was descended from Ishmael, but I haven't seen any real proof of that like we have with Jesus. Actually there is a lot about Islam that doesn't really follow written history in general. But I guess it's what the Muslims believe that counts in the end.1 point

yes and Acts 8:37-38 yes and he is black and Ethiopian and Gaza! also try looking up Acts in the NIV and lot of other bible versions and compare it side by side with the AKJB (Authorised King James Bible). it will Shock You!!! there are other occasions throughout the bible where this is happening. other versions make it appear that you are saved by water baptism....and nothing to do with the Holy Spirit!!!1 point

Hi mabel, To be fruitful in the natural is to have children, however, to be fruitful in the spiritual is as you say outside man`s system. Good thought there and only by the Spirit of God can we be overcomers.1 point

I was born wandering this earth. My father's military career was the reason why I never remained long in one particular place, but he wasn't the only one who served in the U.S. armed forces. My mother had enlisted in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) before they met, the only woman in her family of six brothers and two sisters to have done so. After my father returned from Iran in the early 1960's, he was attached to the U.S. Army's nuclear program; this was when he met and married my mother. As was the custom at the time, my mother was honorably discharged from the WAC on account of marriage. My mother's oldest brother, a veteran of the Korean War (and afterward, Vietnam), was present in Iran at the same time my father was. Their paths never crossed for my father was somewhere in the Syrian Desert, testing hardware and techniques that were the foundation of my own military occupational specialty in the United States Army. A series of coincidences illustrate that there was nothing coincidental about the circumstances of my birth and upbringing: My father was one of the founders of my specialty as a soldier; He served multiple terms as an instructor at the U.S. Army Signal Corps school. I was born during his first term as an instructor; I was born in an Army hospital not far from this school; I graduated from the same military school twenty years later; The day of my enlistment in the United States Army was my father's birthday, and the day my enlistment expired was the same. Life was hard under their roof, and I witnessed horrible things being done to others. Due to ceaseless warfare between my father and mother, the name of the Lord was never mentioned. I was the first of their children subjected to this "truce," for my father was vehemently opposed to my mother's insistence upon Roman Catholic indoctrination for us all. Therefore, my youngest sister and I were "heathens" to our mother and older sisters. We were treated with additional contempt beyond the norm in that house. My mother preferred us to know nothing at all if we weren't allowed to fall under the sway of the Roman Catholic Church. My father, on the other hand, preferred us to choose Christ on our own accord. He had no choice but accept our mother's tyranny during his lengthy absences because his duties kept him away from the house for months on end. He was prone to disappearing with no warning; when he returned, he would reveal that he was sent on temporary duty (TDY) to some strange place in the world. For example, he vanished one day in 1974 and, when he returned, we learned that he had been sent to Ethiopia. That was the nature of his military career. He was never at liberty to discuss what he did. My mother was exceedingly harsh, using violence and terror as tools to make us conform to her wishes. I became inured to pain by her hand at a young age, suffering blows with no complaint; but what my sisters suffered affected me deeply. I would listen to their screams and weeping into the small hours and this, more than anything else, exposed me to the depths of despair. I became acquainted with sorrow and hopelessness. This was when I started speaking to God, though I didn't know Him. I didn't know if He heard me or not, but I spoke to Him anyway. I uttered my first vow to the Lord while their screams kept me awake, that I would never become like my mother or father. I would rather die than do such things to another living soul, or even an animal... yes, I had witnessed enough animal cruelty to be affected by that as well. It was so monstrous and evil that I started suffering from severe insomnia. When I managed to fall asleep, I experienced nightmares that left me hoarse from screaming myself awake. I was afraid to sleep. I would talk to God while I lay in bed, but I never imagined that He had inclined His ear toward me. It wasn't long after my 8th birthday when I started experiencing the beginning of a depression that would never truly leave. I said to God that night, "I would like to die, God. Please, don't let me open my eyes again. I don't want to wake up to another day! I can't do it anymore!" I remember crying myself to sleep that night. It was the first of many nights when despair sought to swallow me whole... and that was the first time I heard the Voice. The Voice wasn't audible with these ears, but I could hear him speak in such a way as if nothing else existed in this world except for the Voice. I didn't have a name for him, and he didn't name himself; he spoke soothing words, telling me not to be afraid. He loved me. I didn't know that the Voice was the Lord. I wouldn't learn the truth until after my time in the U.S. Army was over. When the Spirit spoke to me, revealing Himself as God, the truth was overwhelming. He was the Voice.1 point

Yes, some flee to Petra and some across the world. Some people look after the Jews even at the risk of their own life. After the trib, and the great earthquake people will bring back the Jews from across the world. (Isa. 66: 19 & 20)1 point

Yes, I agree that the A/C does take time to build up his influence and portfolio, (like that). `and he was given authority to continue for 42 months. ` (Rev. 13: 5) So, as I see it, the A/C was influential and then given the ultimate power of world leader for 42 months, (1,260 days).1 point

Remember that God will step in and deal with the Russian Federations etc not long after they attack the Golan Heights. Now, I must say that you are doing well if you followed what I said and see the connection with the Festival`s fulfillment. Well done.1 point

Knowing the seasons has helped us to gain an insight into when the 7 years start, and the Peace treaty will occur. If it is next year, 2025 then it will be 12th March. This seems to cut short time allowed for the Russia war on Israel you spoke of??? or im just lost in this.1 point

now i 'see' what is meant...the fulfilment of the Body of Christ and the start of the 7 year tribulation, time of Jacob's trouble..the lynch pin of events. there are some people that say, regarding the rapture that it is imminent as in at anytime...i do notice however that they are 'blind in regards to Russia' their focus seems imo to be on the festivals as a trigger point1 point

Hi NConly, Thanks for that good question that others would be thinking of too. In Ez. 38 this war is from the Nation out of the `far north.` (Ez. 38: 15) That means the northern quarter of the earth. Russia is the nation there and it gathers many other nations to come with it too. Then in Joel 2 we again read of the nation from the North - northern army. (Joel 2: 20) Each prophet has some different details to make a complete picture. Dennis has asked quite a few questions in the Day of the LORD blog. I will be answering soon.1 point

Hi mabel, Good to have a chat. Yes, believers will be looking for the Day of Christ, His coming for them. However, in 1 Thess. 5: 2 `the Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night, ` to those in darkness. It wont `overtake ` us as we will have gone in the rapture. (v. 4) And yes we see world events that show His soon coming, however, in this series I am going to show 2 specific things we can see just before the Rapture. 1. The coming great army gathering before the Day of the Lord. 2. The month of the peace treaty and thus we are before that. Yes, I quite understand people looking to September for Israel`s festivals there, but God`s word shows differently. That is what we will look at in this series.1 point

Hi Dennis, I do love Sophia the Robot. And good thoughts there, bro. Blessings, Marilyn.1 point

No, I do not think we see it differently other than by groups, timing, and delays. Let me clarify how my mind processes this, sticking to a single example. Matthew 27:52-53 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. The bodies of these saints arose, and they were resurrected from their graves after the first fruits, Jesus. Whether it be a sepulcher or a grave, they all were underground and dead (sleeping). In the following sequence, the saints went into Jerusalem (this indicates they probably walked there). They appeared unto many. What purpose would it have served if the many did not know that they had been dead? How long did they walk among the many to show and prove they arose from the dead? We are not privy to that information, but it is a moment in time, not a twinkling of an eye. They were most likely resurrected in a twinkling of an eye. After they appeared to many that evidently would recognize them, or they introduced themselves. Where did they go next? Did they die twice and go back to the grave? Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Or, were they caught up into the air and be with the Lord forever (harpazo - Rapture)? Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. There are only two resurrections: the first resurrection unto eternal life and the second bodily resurrection unto everlasting damnation. The first resurrection includes different groups and times. These many people in Matt. 27:52 (how many are many?), the church saints, the tribulation saints, and the Old Testament saints. I suspect it also includes those raised by Jesus and the apostles if Hebrews 9:27 has no exceptions. Again, we are not told, and left to speculate based on scripture. The Greek word harpazo only indicates a supernatural movement and needs a direction for that movement. Phillip was raptured, not up, but to another location on earth. Biblical text, Biblical historical chronology, and dating suggest Elijah may have been transported as Phillip was. That is another interesting study.1 point

Ok thank you for your response. I still have trouble with Q1 answer. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. V 16 ( and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ) implies a second part not days or years apart. V17 ( caught up together with them ) implies the live and dead meet in air (together) V 17 ( and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ) we are no longer on or part of the earth Maybe I i see different than you Thank You for your response again.1 point
