  1. God's desire is that we fully understand our Christ identity and the extent of the calling on the lives of His saints. The call is immense – full of His "kabod" glory, and it is vital to our covenant DESTINY in Christ that we have His revelation on the fullness of the call in this incredible hour we are chosen to serve Him in. "...according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began..." - 2 Timothy 1:8-9. The words "holy calling" can also mean a sacred invitation given to us (individually) by God to partner and join with Him in fulfilling His purpose for our life, intended by Him and given before time began. Romans 8 declares that the suffering we experience, or that we will ever experience, is not to be compared to the incredible glory God intends to reveal in us. Building upon this revelation, Paul goes on to say that the whole earth is eagerly waiting in expectation for the eyes of the sons and daughters to be opened to the truth that they are the sons of God, and they begin to step out in their holy CALLING in Christ! Why is the earth in travail over this? Paul answers that it is because the earth will be delivered from bondage and corruption into the glory, liberty, and freedom that the sons of God are prepared to let loose on humanity by bearing fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom in the earth. COMPLETING OUR ASSIGNED DESTINY In Jeremiah 29, God says that He knows the plans He has for us! We have each been called to a specific work, a unique assignment prepared for us (God's purpose for our life) before we were born – God's purpose is that we should walk in it and fulfill our CALLING in Christ on this generation. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (labor), which God prepared beforehand (ordained before) that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 When God calls, for some, the first tendency is to resist and to make objections: we are too insignificant, we have no platform, we have no money or education, we have no voice, we cannot speak, we cannot write, and on and on we go in unbelief. But God declared to Jeremiah that he would fulfill the CALLING because He would be with him, that He would protect him, and that He would put His words in his mouth. MANIFEST THE FIRE AND GLORY WITHIN God admonishes all sons and daughters of God, to release Kingdom glory, to do great damage to the kingdom of darkness, and release captives from spiritual imprisonment by mentoring them into their Christ identity. We are to let our light shine! This means to manifest the fire and the glory within! It is time to show up, to come forth, and arise! Our journey, after leaving the womb of our mother, has been to find our way back to Father God, to the CALLING and original intention of God given to us individually before time began. All children of God are born again in Christ as Sons of God, indelibly united to the Firstborn Son of God. The Father chose us before, in Christ, to be the image of Christ. We are one with Him in life, call, purpose, and destiny – an army of voices crying out, "PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD!" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. The enemy has lured many of God's people into a spirit that has caused huge weights and burdens to become attached to people's souls; it has built strongholds in people's minds. This spirit works by getting people to believe that their voices don't deserve to be heard, or that they are not important and cannot make a difference. It has stolen from their dignity and honor, causing them to fear being rejected, and much more. Jesus gave us the glory that the Father had given Him (see John 17:22). God is calling us to see ourselves as He sees us and to walk in the light of our Christ identity. This is part of His plan to bring His children, the Church, to maturity through equipping the body of Christ so that we can truly advance His Kingdom -- shine as lights placed on a lamp stand, bearing fruit that remains -- shining like a city set on a hill -- being the children of God that the earth itself has been groaning for and longing to see displayed (see Matthew 5:14-16 and Romans 8:19). 3. The World is Getting Darker...But We Should Get Excited! This is truly the Kairos moment for our generation. Where are the ones that are going to walk in the authority and the power that God has given us? HIS POWER AND AUTHORITY IN US John 14:12-14, - "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." When we stand on the Scripture in John 14, it doesn't matter how dark the world gets because we have the power of God living within us. Jesus told the disciples that it's better that I go away and that the Holy Spirit comes. Jesus states that you would do everything that I do and you will even do more than I do. This should give the Body of Christ such hope and excitement, knowing that Jesus gave us the power from Heaven to rule this earth with power and authority. Jesus says anything that we ask in His name will be given unto us. Ephesians 6:12 - "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the ruler of darkness of this age." Another translation says: "Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings but against the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under heavenly realms." We have authority because we fight in the heavenly realms. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 - "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God." We have the ability through God to pull down strongholds and cast down arguments. Romans 16:20 - "And the God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly." We fight from victory not for victory. The word crush means to deform, pulverize or force in word by compressing forcefully. That's exactly what we do to the enemy because we have the power and authority from God. THE JUST SHALL WALK BY FAITH Last day warriors will be fearless for the Kingdom of God! James 4:7-8, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." In Matthew 4, when Jesus was in the wilderness to fast and pray for 40 days, the devil kept messing with Him. Jesus said this, "Away with you satan." When you're completely submitted to God’s Word, you have the power to resist the devil because of the authority that Jesus gave us. Once you resist the enemy the Bible says that he will flee from you, then we draw near towards our father, and He will draw near to us. There is a remnant arising today that will resist the devil because we believe that there is a great move of God coming and a great awakening of dormant Believers as they come to understand their Christ identity and move forward in advancing His Kingdom through their Christ calling. We must remember key versus like Ephesians 6:10, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might." Verses like this encourage us because it's not our strength that we stand in, but with the power and the ability that God has given us in the strength from on high to fight the battle. This needs to be one of the main teachings in their Christ identity that we equip the saints of God within this hour so they can bear fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom. Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you." The Lord has given us authority and power and the guarantee that we will be victorious. The enemy comes in and tries to silence your faith with fear. When the Lord's voice is the loudest voice in your life (through building yourself up in the scriptures that have to do with who you are in Christ, your right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit), you will never be conquered by fear because your faith level is so high. Luke 9:1 - "And He called the disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases." God is looking for a remnant of His children to stand up in that authority and that power that He has already given us. Will you walk in your God-given authority today? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. 1 Corinthians 2:12 - "Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God." As we grow, through revelation, in our understanding of God’s purpose for our life, living in our Christ identity as God’s sons and daughters, and our true riches in His glory, we will live out of the ascended life. When we don’t know what we already have, we are limited. CURSE OF THE IDLE MIND Many times we feel limited! Why? Answer: Because satan targets our minds with lies. The lies of the enemy sound like this: 1. You're not smart enough to teach God's Word. 2. What makes you think that God would use someone with a past like yours? 3. You are a complete failure in life. How can God use you? 4. If you pray for the sick they might not get healed. Just think of what people might say about you. 5. You are not qualified to demonstrate God's power. 6. You are flawed -- God cannot use someone like you! As we come to understand our Christ identity, we become aware of the boldness in Christ that we already possess which will be manifested in the lives that we will be changing. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. "Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal nations." Revelation 22:1-2 NLT This supernatural river with healing properties flows from the throne and needs to be released on the earth from the supernatural realm into the natural. We as individuals are the gateway through which this healing river is released. We already have access to everything we need to bring healing to the nations. As the world grows darker, people are desperate for a move of God to sweep the nations and bring restoration. The Father is lighting His Church with the baptism of fire and the Holy Spirit is going to move greatly in both corporate meetings and personal prayer life. Faithful prayer warriors are imperative for their role in birthing this fresh move of God by releasing the river of healing life into the atmosphere. JESUS SAID RIVERS WOULD FLOW THROUGH US Jesus said that out of our innermost being would flow rivers of living water. We are the temple of the living God and the wells of life are going to spring forth from our innermost being as we disciple other Believers into their Christ identity. "Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart." John 7:38 NLT Life flows through the heart as the Holy Spirit is engaged. It is the force of the Holy Spirit that will change the business-as-usual attitude and bring the shaking that is so desperately needed. There is going to be a shift from the programs and structures that have confined the Church to properly equipping the saints into their inheritance in Christ, their right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. There is an urgency arising in the Body that every person prioritize their Kingdom Christ CALLING. This is obedience to God. He is worthy of it all and what matters is that we are using our Christ identity and the authority that comes with that to disciple and equip new believers so they can bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom. "There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows." Ezekiel 47:9 NLT People will come alive in the river. Healing evangelism will harvest throughout the nations of the world as the favor of God is released upon the earth in a new and mighty way. THE TIME IS NOW! Jesus is inviting His Bride into deeper intimacy with Him as Heaven releases a new song. It is time for conventionality to be shaken. It is time to let go of the programs and schedules that have confined the fire of God and move to the next level of abandonment in Christ. Brothers and sisters will rejoice for each other and with each other as become the world changers they were destined to be. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Luke reminds us that Christ was journeying toward Jerusalem and, therefore, the Cross. He was focused on His mission and refused to be deterred. Having arrived in Jerusalem, Christ went directly to the Temple and drove out those who were selling their wares, making His "house of prayer... a robbers' den..." (see Luke 19:45–46). This was indeed anger, but it was not a temporary loss of self-control. His actions were prophetic. The Temple was intended by God to picture us, created to be the dwelling place/temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16). The defilement Jesus was seeing reminded Him of the defilement in us, which He was about to cleanse at the Cross, just days from then. He was demonstrating what He had come to do: cleanse His temple – US! And Christ was very intense about this. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." - Romans 8:1 NKJV. There is no guilt, punishment, sentence, or shame – all our sins have been forgiven and we are always in right standing with God so there is nothing hindering or delaying our advancing His Kingdom and bearing fruit that remains. through our Christ calling. (John 15:16) As part of your daily walking in the spirit, reflect on the passion of Christ. Thank Him for the price He paid. Worship Him not only as God the Creator, but also as Son of Man, the Redeemer. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. Many have been experiencing intense pressure in their personal lives and in their ministries! Families and finances may have been under attack and many believers may have felt like giving up! These attacks have formed a layer of "slate" between your current dwelling place and a next level anointing! The attacks exist to make you give up before reaching the oil of restoration and release into the next level of your CALLING! There is a "breakthrough" for those who will not relent! DESPERATION WILL BREAK THE HARD PLACES In Mark 2:4, we see what happens when determined people refuse to be separated from their miracle: "And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay." The book of Luke (5:17) further explains that the reason they could not reach Jesus through conventional means is because of a large crowd, partly composed of Pharisees and doctors of the law who were sitting by. The power of the Lord was there to heal but the only recorded healing was due to people who apprehended the promise by breaking through the roof! This is a perfect picture of the power of desperation! Desperation will break through the hard places and tap into the miraculous! God told Israel in Hosea 10:12, "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness upon you." Fallow ground is ground that had once been tilled but has been lying dormant and allowed to harden. God was speaking to Israel about a heart issue! The spirit of religion, disappointment, and addiction to the Laodicean lifestyle (Revelation 3:16) can harden the soil of our hearts and keep us from the rich flowing rivers of a next level anointing and awakening that will advance and bear fruit that remains in our Christ calling. PERSISTENCE IS REWARDED Those who are relentless will tap into the release -- they will uncover and uncap an untapped river of His glory and power – power that is needed to demonstrate and gain ground for His Kingdom. While the slate (hard times of heat and intense pressure) may have tried to separate many from reaching the new thing that God wants to do in them -- those who keep digging the well will be rewarded with a gusher of His oil! 8. Overwhelming fear will open you to a world that isn't realistic, but to your mind, you genuinely believe that your only hope is through past bondage(s). You will convince yourself (through fear), that it is better to be bound by some things, rather than it is to be free and face a difficult thing (Exodus 14:10-16). There is no accountability in fear, only the occasion created to keep you bound by a false reality. "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) The Lord is saying to you in this hour that you cannot afford to look back at your enemies or the former things. You cannot afford to be fearful of what might be coming. You cannot become overwhelmed by the obstacles that are before you. You cannot long to be what you once were at a specific time in your life -- whether good, bad, or ugly. You must be willing to see beyond the circumstances. "This is what the Lord says, He who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters." (Isaiah 43:16) You are seeing beyond the offense, beyond the disappointments, beyond the hurt, beyond the trials, beyond the bondage, beyond the manipulations, and beyond the snares -- God is calling you to see with His truth and not with your reality. "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18) You cannot settle in this season. Renounce the spirit of fear now, of bondage now, of apathy now, in the name of Jesus. Look forward and press onward. There is Kingdom advancing ground to walk on. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. Mark 3:27 NLT - "For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house" (Matthew 12:29). Christ in you is the one who is stronger and able to overcome. This is not the only place where the Lord plainly described a man as a "house" or habitation of the evil one. In the same chapter, He speaks of the unclean spirit cast out and, finding no other habitation, says, "I will return to my house" (see Matthew 12:44) and because no other had taken his place, he is able to "enter and dwell there" (see Matthew 12:45) with seven others more evil than himself. The key to real freedom and overcoming the strongman is to understand your Christ identity and start walking in God's purpose for your life. Where satan has been commanded to leave, fill it up with a consecration to your calling in Christ. Establish His presence and cultivate vision. THE MINISTRY OF BINDING AND LOOSING The reason we have authority over any strongman is because Jesus defeated them at the Cross. We simply need to apply it though the ministry of the Holy Spirit! We know that many infirmities and sicknesses today are the work and oppression of the devil (see Acts 10:38) and Jesus has given us power over all the power of the enemy (see Luke 10:19). As II Corinthians 4:4 shows us, satan is the "god of this world." He is the strongman with power to steal, kill, and destroy (see John 10:10) and he has the ultimate power of death (see Hebrews 2:14). The kingdoms of the world and their power and glory are the devil's (see Luke 4:5-6). Jesus has given us the ministry to binding and loosing what has already been bound and released in Heaven because of His finished work! " I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19).NASB VICTORY OVER STRONG MEN The Apostle Paul instructs the Church at Corinth how to fight against and "destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God" (see II Corinthians 10:5). One way we can bind and weaken any demonic stronghold is by setting the captive free through Jesus and moving in our Christ authority, enforcing God’s promises. As we set the oppressed free, we weaken the strongman! We must remember, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" (II Corinthians 10:4). Jesus now gives authority and power to us. "Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness" (Matthew 10:1). Prayer with fasting intensifies faith, and faith will break strongholds. "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast him out?' However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Matthew 17:19, 21). Everyone has something that they are facing which they must endure and overcome -- the sin that keeps repeating itself "that so easily entangles." PREPARED FOR BATTLE Galatians 5:17 - " The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions."NLT When the stubborn sin begins to manifest, the divine way of victory does not permit our doing anything at all -- anything that is to say, outside of Christ. The fight with the flesh is not ours, but the Holy Spirit's ("for these are opposed to each other") -- it is He, not we, who meets and deals with it. So, when the difficult sin begins to exhibit, then stand aside and refuse to come out of cover and act out from ourselves so that the Holy Spirit is free to do His work – free, that is to meet and deal with the flesh in us (thereby overcoming the sin). Galatians 5:16 - "Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh" If we live in the Spirit, if we walk by faith in the risen Christ, we can truly "stand aside" while the Spirit gains new victories over the flesh every day. Affirmations: By depending on the Holy Spirit, He sets me free from the sin that is holding me down. By allowing the Holy Spirit to deal with my potential sin I am preparing for the new thing that God has for my life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Before you actually come to recognize your authority in Christ, there may be resistance to the new work of the Spirit in you. This resistance can be internal or external, and sometimes it can come from those around you. Maybe others haven't fully realized what God is doing in you yet. But as you stay yielded to God, you can trust Him and be secure in your oneness with Jesus, even when it takes time to get established. Give glory to God by magnifying the Blood of Jesus and the power that abides here. You are never out of right standing with God - all of your sins are forgiven (past, present, and future) and there is nothing that can hinder you from actively bearing fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom. Recognize how important it is for you to understand that you walk in the favor of God as you implement your calling in Christ. Be awakened and be aware of the authority that Jesus has given you as part of your Christ identity as a son of God. Here is the key to standing in the authority God has given you: Declare His covenant by saying, "In Jesus' name it shall be done!" It is time to prophesy over the waters—polluted waters of discontent, waters of insufficiency, waters of unfruitfulness and barrenness, and waters of sickness and ill health. Declare, "God is healing the waters and turning the bitter into sweet!" Decree as Elisha did: "Never again!" (2 Kings 2:21) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." In the story of the prodigal son where the father killed the fattened calf and gave the returned son the signet ring and the robe -- the elder brother was hugely upset and complaining. The father's response to the elder son was, "All I have is yours..." Luke 15:31, "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'" In other words the father was saying, "It has been here for you the entire time." The father shows us how this elder son, which represents someone caught up in the rituals of religiosity, never accessed what had rightfully been his all along. TURNING THE TIDE One of the most powerful ways we can "turn the tide" of what is going on in our lives and the things going on around us is through our surrendered worship. Maybe you feel like the tide is against you right now. Realize that you can turn the tide through your simplicity of worship to the Lord. Through the spirit of worship we are able to access the realms of glory where revelation flows (Revelation 19:10). ACCESS A FREEDOM CONSCIOUSNESS The Word of God is truth but it needs to be accompanied with the Spirit of Revelation, just as Jesus told Peter that He would build His Church on the rock of revelation. Matthew 16:17-18, "Jesus answered and said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.'" What Jesus was referring to here was not a one-time event in Peter's life or in our lives, but a continual flow of the Spirit of Revelation in us (Ephesians 1:17). Without the light of revelation making God's Word alive to us, it is still just ink on paper. God's Spirit makes the Word of God alive in our hearts (through affirmation, meditation, and visualizing the Word), thereby, propelling us into a place of living light and revelation concerning the truth of God. Psalm 119:105, "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Our worship powerfully transforms us and the atmosphere around us because it has an innate heavenly multi-faceted effect upon our lives. Worship: (in the context of vocalization and surrender to God): Causes us to be filled with a Holy Spirit consciousness, making us habitations of God. Changes the spiritual climates surrounding us. Refreshes our spirit, soul, and body. Enables us to enter into the courts of the Lord. Establishes the Lordship of Christ in our hearts. Ephesians 5:18-20, "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." ACCESSING OUR VAST INHERITANCE Realize that the Holy Spirit is an essential ingredient for your life to flourish by leading you into an understanding of God's Christ calling on your life getting you to a place where you can bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom.. Get your fresh bread from the Holy Spirit. Turn the tide of your life through the simplicity of devotion and worship. If you need to learn how to worship, then ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Yield yourself to God casting everything you are and have upon Him. Jesus said, in Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." Realize what your Father has for you by asking, knocking, and seeking until you come to understand God's PURPOSE for your life, and begin to turn the tide through aggressively discipling new believers into their Christ identity, thereby, advancing His Kingdom. A fresh heart of worship will break you through to a new place where the rivers of living waters flow freely out of the depths of your heart! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. If Believers were called to "eat" of the Lord's body and blood (John 6:53–58), what did He eat? Answer: He feasts on your praise and your worship! True worship, whether offered in strength or in weakness, is real food to Christ, just as the sacrifice of His body and blood is real food—living bread and water—to us. Our worship and intimate fellowship is a reasonable service and a "fair exchange." God has chosen to be with us in this realm, just as He hopes we will choose to be with Him in His! The incredible beauty of Christianity is that abiding in Christ is not limited to our strength alone; when we abide in Him by seeing His love flow into our heart and then, back to Him --, He also abides in us by nourishing our hearts and imagination with His love. Healing for the body and hope for the soul are forever accessible through open-hearted intimacy. The ascended life – living from our intimacy with Jesus – dwelling in that sense of His presence and living from there releases revelation into our life. Feel His cross – feel His blood – It is real. It is! You must have spiritual hunger, a strong prayer life, as well as time affirming and meditating on the Word to have the Holy Spirit move you into higher and more efficient states of mind. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Stand firm and do not be moved! As believers, we are rooted and grounded in His magnificent love. Because Jesus overwhelms our heart as we meditate on His love flowing into our heart so that we can nourish the lives of others with it, we are established in His love and we can have a peace that passes natural understanding. And we have COURAGE, the depth of which is confidence in the Lord – we become a risk taker and get out of the boat and walk on the water. "And that Christ will make His home in your hearts, through faith. I pray that you will have your roots and foundations in love so that.....you will have the power to understand how broad and long and deep is Christ's love. " - Ephesians 3:17 This place of trust is beyond the natural ability of a person. It comes only through a relationship with the Lord, who will lead us and bring to pass all He has purposed for us (our CALLING in Christ). As we are directed by Him, we can also move out of the confines and limitations of what we have experienced in the past. As believers, we declare that we, "Trust in the LORD with all [our] heart, and lean not on [our] own understanding; in all [our] ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct [our] paths." - Proverbs 3:56 GOD-EMPOWERED BOLDNESS As we come to understand our authority and dominion in Christ, this creates in us PERSEVERANCE THROUGH OUR FAITH as we hear and are led by Him. Holy perseverance is God-empowered boldness or courage that enables us deep within to persevere in advancing in His purpose for our life. One way we can define perseverance is simply to stay the course. This is a powerful blessing from the Lord that enables us to cross over and possess our land of promise and fruition. It is a work of the Holy Spirit within that enables us to have strength to stay the course, regardless of present circumstances or situations. This is what the prophet Isaiah wrote about: "Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice." - Isaiah 41:10 AMP HERE IS THE INCREDIBLE ASSURANCE: You can stay the course in the Kingdom elevating calling for your life He has given you because of the understanding of your Christ identity and the enabling strength of the Lord for you and in you! As you affirm and meditate on the promises of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will release an even greater strengthening deep within so that you will stand firm in the ascended life in Christ that is promised in scripture. As you lean into the Lord, you will go from strength to strength with deep courage to believe for the impossible to be possible thereby advancing God's Kingdom in the earth as you disciple others into a higher understanding of Jesus and His purpose for their life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. "Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." (Psalm 23:6) Ask Him! What do you need? What does the destiny He has placed in you require? Dream with Him again. Go back to the drawing board and believe beyond where you have been, and don't stop until what you envision looks impossible. You will now advance and plan -- move out of lack and into more than enough! Pioneer again with Him! It is time to finally move on from the place you are presently in.. It has served its purpose, but now the scenery must change, just like everything else has. You mustn't think your whole existence will be in the trenches. You are called to a war, but that doesn't mean you are meant to live in the valley of the shadow of death. He has been teaching you how to come up out of that place and live higher. He has been calling you up into new ways of viewing all that opposes you, so you aren't surrendering to the wrong thing. So now you are moving on from this place into a brand-new adventure. There will be many unknowns and many new roads to forge, but you will find your passion again and know He is running with you. It will keep requiring courage and letting go of doing things how you once did, but it will be full of so much joy as you move from glory to glory in your Christ calling. Yes, the pages of history are before you, and you are going to write them with Jesus. Will you join Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. To secure our attention and place us on the pathway God desires, there are strategies that He employs that are very effective. As much as we are not to be ignorant of satan's devices (2 Cor. 2:11), we must be even more knowledgeable of the ways of the Lord (Ps. 25:4). Knowing God's ways will result in us experiencing His mighty acts (Ps. 103:7). Three ways God works to move us in a new direction: DISRUPTION OF OUR PLANS When stuck at an impasse, it is a natural tendency to return to familiar surroundings. We see this in the lives of the disciples after Jesus' death. They went back to fishing even though they had clearly been mandated to forsake their vocation and follow Christ (see Luke 5:10-11; John 21:3). Because they were commercial fishermen, there may even have been economic motives behind their actions. Nevertheless, we see clearly that there was no lasting provision and no permanent peace in returning to past environments. When God leads us out of a place of familiarity and the way forward is blocked, what is the solution? There are some breakthroughs reserved for us that can only be accessed through prayer. We must seek God until we receive a clear answer from Heaven. Whether it was Paul's night vision of the man in Macedonia summoning him, or the voice of Jesus speaking to the disciples on the seashore in Galilee, the New Testament Christians received clear direction from the Spirit and were able to regain momentum and experience breakthrough. DISSAPATION OF RESOURCES Just as Elijah had foretold, the word of the Lord came to pass. "And there was a severe famine in Samaria ..." (1 Kings 18:2). During the famine, God looked after Elijah. He gave him specific instruction relative to how he would be sustained. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.' So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook" (1 Kings 17:2-6). Cherith which means "place of covenant," was where the Lord demonstrated His faithfulness in taking care of Elijah. However, the day would come when the brook would run dry and the birds would no longer fly (see 1 Kings 17:7). Although Elijah had come to depend on such provision, God seemed to have no compunction at all in cutting off these resources. Has Your Brook Dried Up? Have you experienced something similar? Your streams of resource have dried up. During such a time, trust that the Lord will soon speak to you like He did to Elijah. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you'" (1 Kings 17:8-9). You will see that the place where He leads you will be the place where He feeds you. Where the Lord guides, He provides! DISSOLUTION OF RELATIONSHIPS Here is a powerful truth to embrace when a key connection you value has dissolved for no apparent legitimate reason: The Lord is turning the hearts of men in the direction He desires (Prov. 21:1) and is, in fact, making it easier for you to let go and move forward into your next assignment. Therefore, do not take the matter personally nor become bitter with people as though they are rejecting you. TRUSTING IN GOD'S GOOD GUIDANCE Sometimes Father God's ways do not make sense to us. Scripture even attests to this reality. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Is. 55:9). No matter how it may appear on the surface, He is actively involved in the affairs of our lives. On occasion, He may even interrupt our plans resulting in us experiencing a sense of anxiety due to a perceived loss of control. However, as uncomfortable as we may become, we must trust that He is leading us along the best pathway for our lives. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye on you" (Ps. 32:8). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
