  1. I don't think we're getting anywhere through condemnation and hatred. That is not what God intended us to do with His word.
  2. Ooo, I'm very intrigued.
  3. Amen! Such an excellent post!
  4. You captured my thoughts perfectly
  5. Yeah I'd have to agree.
  6. Praying for everyone involved. This is such a tragedy.
  7. No, KatyAnn, you are not a fool. And you're not alone in recognizing the animosity. I personally rejoice in it....means I'm pushing the right buttons and makes my day! Life is not a popularity contest. This is really a rotten attitude. We are to desire and seek after unity and peace with the saints and with all men, as far as possible. Delighting in animosity between the saints stinks. Amen to that, Candice!
  8. I agree that this world is often heartbreaking. The closer we are to Christ, the more we see discrepancies in this life. Just hold tight to the fact the God loves you and one day you will be free of this world and it's pain. It's only temporary.
  9. My heart goes out to you and your family. May you find comfort in our Lord. Much love to you.
  10. Amaan you are saved through your love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Know that you are beautiful and treasured in His eyes.
  11. I suffer from depression as well. This was awesome God, Jesus Christ, we are truly blessed!
  12. I'm just going to pray that this all gets resolved
  13. Hugs and love to you dear <3 Psalm 25:5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. I will keep you in my prayers, and I pray that God helps to heal that void. I'm so sorry for your pain.
  14. I have MSN. Feel free to send me a private message and I can give you my screen name if you're still looking for people to talk with.
  15. I can see where you are coming from, I truly can, but I think I'm going to disagree. Keep in mind, this is only my opinion. I think love can go much farther than destruction. A confrontational attitude often pushes people away more than an open heart. While I don't agree with the other religions, I still try to maintain respect for people, and pray that God will lead them to His true path. I strive to set an example by my actions, and burning other people's "holy" books isn't quite the example I want to set, even when I wholeheartedly disagree. Yes, you're right; that's why I have changed my mind about burning the Qu'ran being a good idea (see post #60. Lol, yeah, I caught that right after I posted.
  16. I doubt that many people hear a clear voice, lol. I wish! Things might be more clear I think you've got the right idea.

  18. Often times I feel that the closer I grow to Christ, the more my heart breaks with Him. While this is unbelievably painful, I also feel very blessed . Any attack on my Lord is an attack on me, and what breaks Him breaks me also. Just my thoughts.
  19. I was actually confronted with this issue last night, and I reacted much in the way that you have written about here. I do not think it's ok for "christians" to do this. First and foremost in my life is God, and being true to Him, not another person.
  20. Dear Rebekah, Thanks for the suggestion. I am happy that the transplants worked out for Dee. Praise God that she is doing fine! My two concerns for my dad, though are: that he is so elderly and he has a fragile heart (due to multiple bypasses over the years. So the doctors saw this as a big risk and were opposed to cutting him open for his other cancer...the lung one. ) But transplants are something worth considering, if need be. Hopefully, he can be re-evaluated for a second opinion soon! Right now I guess that the biggest determining factor is if the cancer spread into the bloodstream or remained contained within the liver. Once in the blood, it is really serious because the cells multiple rapidly and affect other organs! ( Especially if it really turns out to be phase 4, which is one of the worst...) Keep praying, everyone. God bless. I'm so sorry to hear this, TT. I don't know a whole lot about liver cancer, but I did find a link that seems legitLink Hopefully that will maybe give you some sort of idea. I'll be praying for you, your family and father.
  21. Jesus spent alot of time with differing folks discussing spiritual issues too. However, what they were partaking of never stained Him. Joh
