In my observation it depends on what time you watch. One night I and the wife was watching around 1:00Am; and they were talking about a ministry for strippers to help them out of the profession; needless to say, they could have done without the scantly clad females to prove their point. There's no doubt to me, that the world has gotten in to TBN in some shows. but sometimes you can catch a good preacher. If you're going to watch TBN; my advise to anyone, is to make sure you're well grounded in the word, that way you can filter out the yahoo's. I have noticed in this cacophony on eschatology that errors are accepted as truth while the truth is considered errorneous. The noise reminds me of the times of Jesus, there he was in front of the Jewish leaders but they failed to understand their own prophecies. I find the matter no different today. Evolution is a religion. They have no facts so have to believe in things unseen. Its the athiests credo. It is amazing that the athiest don't believe in God but they sure spend a lifetime fighting him.

I am rather surprised that some christians do not belief that the Old Testament contains prophesy by the OT prophets, even to the extent of proposing two writers for the book of Isaiah. The Lord Jesus himself says that the scriptures were written about him and the fact that these prophets have their prophecy fulfilled and the Matthew writes again and again that Jesus came to fulfill many prophesies in the old testament. Why is it that some in this forum have trouble acknowledging that prophecies are written throughout the old testament? If the Bible is edited to cut off these prophecies, one might as well read Shakespeare. What is the problem with believeing prophesy? is it that it involves the supernatural? Or is it just an academic argument? Oh there are many that believe in prophecy but they have ears that do not hear. It is those who lack discernmrnt and believe the errors of John Nelson Darby when it comes to Daniel, Revelation and a rapture.

It has never been a religion of peace. If you research the Encyclopaedia Britannica, he and his followers supported themselves by raiding caravans passing Medina--killing its escorts and selling the survivors as slaves. He was literally a murder and a thief. Will the Encyclopaedia be outlawed? By their own proposed treatise shouldn't the Qu'ran be outlawed for blaspheming Christ and the Holy Spirit? Shouldn't the promotion of murder be outlawed? If a Muslim converts to Christianity or any other religion, Muhammad's followers are instructed to kill the apostate.

In Reno, Nevada they have interfaith meetings of different religions. It is suppose create an atmosphere of tolerance. It actually brings Christ down and raises the false teachers up. Participants here have been the Catholic Church, Reform Judaism, Muslims, Bahai Faith, United Methodists and numerous others. One publicized event was a Catholic Church Priest exchanging the Bible for the Bagavadgita with a Buddhists priest.

A man is marked out as God's enemy if he choses to be the world's friend." Jas 4,4 Worldwide the media has inundated the public with propaganda to accept homosexuality out of love and understanding.
