  1. I believe it applies to all tribulations that a believer goes through.
  2. You should share them....Scripture says They overcame by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony.... Revelation 12:11, KJV: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." This verse focuses on believers on earth during the second half of the Tribulation. Although all believers are overcomers (Romans 8:37; 1 John 5:4–5), believers in the Tribulation are especially targeted by the Devil, but they conquer him "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives even unto death" (Revelation 12:11). All believers are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (1 Peter 1:18–19). This transaction removes them from Satan's kingdom of darkness and places them in Christ's kingdom (Colossians 1:13). Believers' testimony also assists in conquering the Devil. He cannot defeat us if we resolutely confess our faith in Jesus—though the Bible does not guarantee that "victory" will come in the form of earthly success or prosperity. Even the martyrs of the Tribulation are conquerors. Death is the believer's ultimate victory. Paul explained that to be "away from the body" is to be "at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8). When facing the possibility of martyrdom, he confessed, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). I believe that our testimony Glorifies God and brings hope to those who hear it and to believe it is possible for them as well.... And of course the blood of the Lamb gives us victory through Him.
  3. Exactly brother!......I will share my testimony from 1984.... The Holy Spirit made me write down an address to an advertisement on the radio station I was listening to..there was going to be a special guest who would be ministering at a church in Oklahoma City....I lived in Pawnee...an hour and a half drive.....I have never heard of the church or the guest speaker...after praying about it and asking for confirmation I made arrangements to attend. When I got to the city I had to stop and ask directions about 4 times....now in my mind I was expecting a big fancy church...I finally found it.... a small white wood framed building in the poorest of neighborhoods I have ever been in....I go inside and sit down....about an hour later the church was filled with guests and members and they were all black....(i am not prejudice or racist at all) so this caught me by surprise...I had never been to a church with all black members....so the service began, the singers sang, the preacher came out and preached a sermon and around 10pm the guest speaker came on stage....he didn't preach a word...he just started pointing at people and would speak a prophetic word to them (at that time I didn't know what a prophetic word was).....so I was in awe that this man could see these things....well this went on for about 30-40 minutes...I was getting tired and had a long drive home...so getting anxious for the service to end....then this man said...."There is a lady here, her name is xxxxxx, she is from Pawnee, Okla., her dentist name is Dr. Keith Smith and 3 days ago she had a filling replace and paid 35 dollars....if she is here the Lord has a word for her" My jaw was on the floor...lol...and I looked around and asked does someone here know me?....finally I raised my hand and said that is me....he said come up here please....(no one else got called up front so I was very nervous)....anyway...when I walked up there he said..."the next several years of your life will be like plowing a field with an old plowshear, you will toil and become weary from the burden of the labor of it....this is representative of the trials and tribulations you will go through, and God wants you to know if you remain faithful to the end you will reap a harvest."..... I didn't know what to say....I said ok...thank you and went back to my seat....I had never met or heard a prophet before..... A month later....same thing, different church, different speaker, same city....again the man pointed at me (no details of my name and such like the last time) and he said the exact same thing.... I went home and prayed and said Father you sure are trying to warn me about some tough times ahead...you could have told me yourself....He said...I wanted you to see how a prophet operates because I am calling you to be a prophetess...oooooo....I said, oh please Father I want to be a faith healer...I really want the gift of healing....but guess who got their way....Yes...He did.
  4. Please study the scriptures concerning God restoring all that has been destroyed.....including His church....everything has to be restored since the time of Adam and Eve.
  5. Don't let one man's philosophy persuade you to go against the Word of God... Ask the Holy Spirit! He will tell you and will not lie because He cannot lie.
  6. All of those points are valid and confirm why Christian's must test the spirit to know. We have a powerful written Word of God...inspired by the Holy Spirit which we study and learn from and ironically nearly the entire book is prophesy....Revelation is a prophetic vision. And yet many want to claim prophesy/visions are not for today. IMHO if the Word of God still being taught, it is still for today. Prophesy not yet fulfilled indicates it is still around. The Holy Spirit is still moving and manifesting through God's vessels. God doesn't limit us to what we can do by His Spirit....We limit Him.
  7. A modern term used today is messenger....which also lines up with scripture. I have 1 question: occult mysticism is real...a form of witchcraft...powered by a spirit of divination, spirit of deception, spirit of seduction. Would our ABBA, FATHER leave the powers of darkness alone to do it's work without having His Powers operating to defeat them? A prophet is subject to a prophet...sometimes only a prophet can recognize a false prophet....false prophets are very religious and use the Word prolifically....it is recognizing the subtle twists and changes that is missed....there are false prophets that are easily identified....it is the ones who are deceived in their own heart that we must guard against. These could be people you know and consider to be righteous men/women of God. You trust them without testing what they say. That is why we test every prophesy to know what spirit is operating.
  8. This is veering slightly off topic but I was reading and studying 1 King ....and this verse was an "aha" moment. “Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,” — 1 Kings 10:14 (KJV) What was Solomon's downfall? His wealth...it corrupted him. I will leave it here....I don't want to add too much of my own ideology here...but would like to hear others pov.
  9. This is exactly what God is doing...Awakening those who have fallen asleep and stirring up the gifts again. The apostasy is already on the face of the earth and God is pouring out His Spirit upon All flesh and bringing believers into the unity of one faith....He is pouring out His Fire and Glory anointing of His Spirit and as it was on Pentecost so will it be today. He is perfecting His saints and equipping them and preparing them to gather the harvest.
  10. They are the same in purpose...I have used both...but for the sake of this OP...I used seer
  11. When the Spirit of Truth comes to you to reveal what is hidden then you will know and understand what is the Will of God.
  12. The word soothsayer is what the Bible calls those who use divination or mysticism.
  13. All children of God are taught to test every spirit. If you are deceived you neglected to follow His teaching.
  14. I am a seer, I have visions, visuals of things in my mind. I am not an occult spiritualist nor am I possessed of any demons. I stay "at ready" any given time the Holy Spirit wants to minister. Sometimes I just speak a Word of Wisdom or Knowledge...but my most useful gift is spiritual discernment.
  15. A seer is the same as a prophet. A prophet is a messenger. OT prophets were sometimes referred to as messengers.
  16. I visited a church that a friend invited me to and during the service I was experiencing lustful thoughts and feelings....i was very disturbed by it. After the service the thoughts and feelings left and while I was driving home and I asked God...Father what was THAT all about? He said I was discerning the spirit of lust within the church. Shortly after I learned the pastor was having an affair with a married woman from that church. He was married also, and not long after that voth marriages ended up in divorce and the pastor openly began a relationship with this woman....needless to say the church closed its doors 6 months later. It caused such a division amongst the members that over half of them left and those who stayed were mortgaging property and all kind of things to keep the bills paid....and some even got bound up with lust in their flesh as well. So it has been ever since...when I am around someone I can feel the spirit operating in them whether good or bad.
  17. Thank you for your input...I need to meditate on this. A lot of what you said bares witness in my spirit. Some of it (as presented here) is new to me and I would like to know more about it. Il BTW: I love the Berean Study Bible...just started reading it a couple of months ago. God Bless
  18. Thanks! I appreciate your input and it really ministers to me!
  19. Thank you for your input....it actually gave me "goose bumps" reading it....and it really witnesses to my spirit. God Bless!
  20. I believe that a person who is saved is born again of the spirit...he is a new creation in Christ...he has been given a new heart....it is the heart that God judges....the flesh does not get born again, the spirit does....so now we are reborn with the spirit of Christ in a fleshly body....the spirit wars against the flesh at this point continually....we are to crucify the flesh daily....do we mess up? yes....but the Holy Spirit convicts us of our error and we take it to our Father in prayer and ask for forgiveness...repenting with a sorrowful heart of our wrongdoing.
  21. And BTW....I have read your blogs on that other forum....
  22. I do know the difference....I have gone through great depth with others on another forum over the difference but anyway, back to this.....so what have you seen in this song that you have found to be very interesting.
  23. Johnny Cash was not a prophet just a man who had a repentant heart for God....this song is scripture put into a song.
  24. This is a difficult situation to answer.....first and foremost confusion is not of God, neither is OCD...so what is really the issue is it the OCD or is it a spirit of deception....I truly do not believe you are the antichrist....the ability to use critical thinking to solve a problem is a skill that many wished they had but never achieve...so solving a problem through the use of critical thinking is a good thing....it is the design of God and what He intended for the brain....DO NOT FEAR....fear torments us and gets us to fall into all kinds of incorrect thinking.....Don't give satan the credit for your talents and intelligence...give God the Glory....the Bible tells us to seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding like for hid treasures... I will be praying for you.....calm down, be at peace, and know that He is watching over you continually.
  25. Well who will be the one that judges who these people are....???????????????????
