  1. There is definitely a spiritual side of the new creation no doubt but there is a physical side as well. I believe that the new Jerusalem will actually and physically descend on to earth. And it will be the physical and spiritual place where God dwells among his people.
  2. Just to be fair Canada is the only nation to defeat the US and even burned down its capital. Of course that was close to 200 years ago now but I guess you can never be too careful
  3. Just a couple of points / questions. what your thoughts were on Rev 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. To me it's clear that this earth is destroyed in some manner and a new heaven and earth are formed. When we are giving the measurements of the new Jerusalem it could be a cube or a pyramid. And honestly I don't know if we could call it a city by our standards today heh . 1400 miles that's roughly the distance from Atlanta, GA to Albuquerque, NM. That's huge, bigger than most countries. In eternity we are going to be rulers and governors. That could mean a whole range of things really and in the vastness of creation there are enumerable solar systems. I've always wondered if we might be put in charge of different ones Just wanted to add one more thing .. the height of the new Jerusalem will be higher than where our space shuttles now orbit. 1400 miles cubit, to be more accurate. Makes one wonder how large the new earth has to be in order to have a city that large without throwing it off its axis. No kidding especially considering what materials are used in structure and the amounts of that material. Just taking the measurements of a standard two lane road today of roughly 32 feet wide and taking a 10ft long section and just saying the roads in heaven are 6 inch deep then a 10ft section of road of solid gold would weigh 192,640 lbs. or 96.32 tons. This is going to be an amazing place! I can't wait to get there

  5. Hi LadyC, I would like to participate in this but I don't see your facebook link. This is my facebook link if you want to add me that way. Never mind found it.
  6. I won't hint around at that I'll flat out tell you that is the truth. Gluttony is a sin same as homosexuality both will lead to judgement and death. For the wages of sin is death. Now don't worry I did catch that you made an erroneous leap there with eating too many french fries and then narrow it down to just eating one.
  7. The problem with that Viole is that that's not how it is in the real world. The fact is that homosexual people are at a higher health risk because they take part in those risk factors more often then heterosexual people. Those sites I linked are main stream sites they don't bias their opinions on religion. I find it laughable that when push comes to shove Europeans will pull out the "Americans are fat and stupid" card. Seriously though your assertion that homosexuality is just as safe as heterosexuality is wrong. Proven wrong many times over by people much smarter than you or I.
  8. Did it have a mickey mouse logo on it??
  9. Biologically, homosexual female sex is the safest form of sex in the world. This is pretty obvious. Lesbians Have Higher Health Risks What are lesbians' unique health risks? Health Risks of the Homosexual Lifestyle And The Survey Says.... "BUZZZ" !! sorry you're wrong.
  10. Sorry to be crude, but are you basing this assertion on some sort of personal experience? It's just a saying .. and yes it is based on my personal experiences. I was a very worldly man before I came to know Jesus as my savior. When you're of the world and immersed in the the world that's all you know. Now you've come to a christian board with people that have been pulled out of this world so to speak and cleansed of this world's manure. Sometimes we fall back in yes but we know the way out and how to get clean again. It is only by God's grace that we are clean and by his grace we can tell that the worldly stuff does indeed stink.
  11. Sorry to be crude but It's hard to tell when something stinks when you're standing knee deep in manure. Just because you're friendly doesn't make homosexual relations any less perverse. Even kid's naturally know it's something to be mocked. Shhh be wvery wvery quite I'm hunting WRabbits! I'll skip down this rabbit trail with you though.. There have been and are on going studies showing that children that grow up with out a father or mother do worse in school, have more problems in social activities, more likely to drop out of school, are at a greater risk of teen pregnancy, abusing drugs, and get in trouble with the law. A simple Google search brought up thousands of sites that show this. Wow go figure. Children have problems when their parents fight.
  12. I've also heard tail that the hospital listed on his long form did not even exist until the late 70's. Anyone know if that holds any water?
  13. What has always got me about the whole "Global warming" or "Climate Change" campaigns is they assert that everything is happening because of humanities impact on the environment. It's turned into a de facto religion for most who follow it. Their cry is "if only we change our ways we can save everything". I don't want to step on any toes here but to me that is a very audacious claim. In fact I think it borders on calling ourselves gods. There are so many variables that come into play that our completely out of our realm when talking about weather patterns that I think it's a bit insane to think we can change them.
  14. Problem with nuts like Camping is they can easily become martyrs. And if the government locked him up whats to stop them from locking up anyone who say's Jesus is coming back? Slippery slopes are dangerous.
  15. I think people get hung up on the question of "Can they be saved?" and the answer is Yes, of course they can be saved. The meat of the matter is although yes they can be saved they have to choose to be saved. There is going to be (an probably already are) a lot of people that will "fall away" to an apostate church due to harden hearts, following false doctrine / leaders, bitterness etc. Those people could be saved but they will choose not to be just like everyone else that isn't saved.
  16. I presume you mean by the same guys that come searching for wyguy every now and again. You know, the ones that try and hide the straight jacket behind their backs as they surround him I think Yod is referring to the belief that the in the rapture, wicked are taken, not the righteous. Hence if Camping needs to be taken... The wicked are taken in the rapture? That's a new one to me. Surely you are just kidding candice, huh? But if not, and someone does actually believe that, then how would they explain this? For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17) yod, oh brother where art thou? I wondered about that comment as well ~candice~ ? I think some people think the "taken away" phrase refers back to Gen when the wicked where taken away by the flood.
  17. Can you give us the news station you were watching? I'd like to watch this.
  18. My take on this whole thing is that Obama is trying to distance himself and the US away from the perceived hard lines that Israel is drawing in the sand. Trying paint Israel as the bad guy that won't budge. And it's working sad to say, when ever I read any other forums at the news sites that are reporting this there is a lot of antisemitism. The core of America is quickly turning against Israel and soon they might not have any allies.
  19. NO WAY! A country wanting to protect it's interest? What has this world come to?
  20. Ah thanks ... I still like my bacon idea though. Everything is better with bacon
  21. Make me wonder why those people didn't think their children weren't going to be Raptured with them.
  22. Does naturally cut mean they're cut with another food product then? If so I wonder if I can request my fries be cut with bacon... hrmm
  23. Is it merely coincidence that 90% of these bombs have been found within 50 miles of Dearborn, Michigan; that epicenter of American Islam? Perhaps. Perhaps not........... That's a very interesting observation. hmm indeed.
