The so called 70th week has been gone and dusted for 2000 years. There is no future 7 years in prophecy. The 490 years appointed for Israel has been completed.

Yes. Simply Daniel 2 repeated but with more detail. Again repeated in Daniel 8 and 11...no 2000 year gap in prophecy...but prophecy began to be fulfilled in Daniels time and continued to unfold in a constant horizontal timeline to this day. Not futurism...not preterism..which were both created by Jesuit priests in the 16th or 17th century as part of the counte-reformation and successfully diverting the acususing fingers of the church away from Rome as being the Antichrist to either Antiochus in the past or an imaginary boogey man in the future,hiding the real one from prophetic view...as if God didnt know about him? Okay, first off these 10 kings are a completely different group than the ones who rose from the 4th beast in Daiel 7. Those were past...they grew as pagan Rome disintegrated in the 4th and 5th centuries. Eventually, pagan Rome morphed into papal Rome and the papacy uprooted 3 of those kings, the remaining 7 subsequently evovled into what we know today as Europe. The ten kings in Revel.17 have yet to arise. Who knows how this may happen, and what territories tey preside over, but I believe from my research that they are appointed as rulers over ten future terrtories , some of which may be Canada, the USA, and Mexico forming one, Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand another...South America a third...etc etc. These ten will cover the globe, and will come first under the auspices of the UN. The Antichrist, that is the RCC, will in union with apostate Protestantism in the US and spiritualism in the new age "Christ consciousness" secret societies, will form Babylon the Great, which will be a religioys rule supported by the state power in the form of those ten 'kings'. How all this will come about is anybody's guess...but one thing I am convinced of.The arch enemy of this final Satanic system, which has been developing for 5000 years since Babel...is NOT the tiny nation of Israel. Who is hated in the end for Jesus' name sake? The true Christian church who keep the commandments of God (as opposed to the religious decrees enforced by the harlot woman/church) and have the faith of Jesus. Revel 12:17;14:12.

So many Christians today hide from God. Yes, they deliberately avoid God, or refuse to allow Him access into their lives. "When God looks at me" they say, "He doesn't see me, He just sees the blood of Jesus which covers me". They then go about their daily lives having a form of godliness but denying its power. This is like a man with a broken neck refusing to see the doctor. Or one with an infection on the lung and refusing antibiotics. Our problem with God is not a Behavioural problem, nor is it a legal one. Pardon or justification alone does not change us from sinners to saints. We are rebels not because the law says so; we are rebels because our minds and hearts are corrupted. Obeying the law doesn't deal with our corrupt minds, nor does doing away with the law. Hiding behind the "blood of Jesus" is legalism, in that that person is afraid of the punishment due his sin...afraid God is going to judge him and condemn him to death. But what God wants to do is heal him. Remove the corrupt thinking and the sin problem goes away....therefore there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Not because they have been forgiven, but as you may read in the verses following Romans 8:1, the carnal fleshly sinful MIND (note, not the behavior or the legal status) has been changed to a spiritual mind. The only cure for sin is to allow the Great Physician to heal us. To renew our minds and hearts and conform them after the image of Christ. Surrender yourselves to God today...allow Him free and open access into your every secret closet...let Him renew and work in you according to His good pleasure..... ‭That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.‭ Romans 8:4

All the reformers identified papal Rome as the little horn. It was papal Rome that grew from the pagan Rome 4th beast in Dan.7, amidst the 10 barbarian kingdoms who displaced the western empire by 476ad...it was papal Rome that uprooted the Ostrogothsb the Vadals, and the Heruli principally because of their Arian theology...it was papal Rome that gained her authority from the emperor Justinian to rule over all churches in 533ad...this was implemented in 538....1260 years later she lost that authority at the hands of the French revolutionary army (mortal head wound) 1798 but gained it again through a treaty with Mussolini in 1929 (head wound healed) and has been growing in power eversince. Other references to 1260 prophetic days are to the persecution of the saints over the same period, and the testimony of the witnesses that lay dormant for the same period...the old and new testaments of scripture. Itis no coincidence thst today the church has forgotten her roots. The counter-reformation attacked thecreformers, devised a new hermenuetic called futurism thus obscuring the true antichrist (herself) and put in its place an imaginary guture individual which the modern church has fallen for hook ine and sinker. The whole scheme was devised by a Jesuit priest, taken on board by people such as Darby and Schofield, and the rest as they say, is history....wile ignoring history as if God wasnt aware of 2000 years of vhurch apostasy...persecution...and Satanic war against His word. If you are Catholic then I understand your reaction. I also, even as a former Catholic found it difficult to grasp, but the history and the criteria that scripture demands of Antichrist was simply way too convincing to be denied. Babylon the Great is a fallen church...a harlot practicing fornication with the kings of the earth. To be an apostate church...to be divorced from your rightful husband, demands a right relationship in the beginning. It is a fallen Christian apostate church that is a politically motivated entity using political means to gain spiritual ends. That is spiritual adultery. Take another look at the comparisons between the first beast of Revelation 13 and ministry of Christ as I showed in my first post. See how very closely they align? Now compare the beast of Revelation 13 with its various characteristics and the little horn of Daniel 7. Now compare those identifying characterics of the Antichrist and history of the Catholic church. 1. The beast of rev.13 comes up out of the water, as did the beast from which the little horn grew in Daniel 7. The rev13 beast is the mature version of that little horn. The RCC also grew out of pagan Rome, as did the little horn. 2. It resembles pagan Rome, the earthly portayal of the dragon, in that she incorporated many of the pagan empirical traditions into her religion, such as the title pontifus maximus, and Sunday observance. 3. The Vatican from its inception in the 5th century claimed the former Roman empire as her own...thus laying claim to the ten horns and diadems among whom she grew. This was accomplished through war, not by preaching of the gospel. 4. As the beast received its power and authority from the dragon, so did the church recieve her power and authority from the pagan emperor, Justinian. This took place in 533ad. It is of great significance that in 533 A. D. Justinian proclaimed a decree which recognized the Pope’s headship over all the churches of east and west. This decree was actually a letter written by Justinian to Pope John. The letter was included in The Code of Justinian which is a collection of Justinian’s laws. It must be remembered that this letter had the force of law. In effect, the Code of Justinian was the standard law of all Europe for over one thousand years until it was replaced in the late 1700’s by the Code of Napoleon. Part of Justinian’s decree reads as follows: “Therefore, we have exerted ourselves to unite all the priests of the East and subject them to the See of Your Holiness, and hence the questions which have at present arisen, although they are manifest and free from doubt, and, according to the doctrine of Your Apostolic See, are constantly firmly observed and preached by all priests. . . because you are the head of all the Holy Churches, for We shall exert Ourselves in every way (as has already been stated), to increase the honor and authority of your See. . .” (S. P. Scott, The Civil Law, vol. 12, pp. 11-13). The significance of this decree is that the Roman Emperor was legitimizing the spiritual authority of the Pope. The state was using its clout to proclaim that only the Pope was the authentic spokesman for orthodox Christianity. (This is highly significant when considering Revelation 13:2, which pertains directly to the establishment of the papal power. The dragon, when comparing Rev.12:3,4 and 13:2, can be clearly seen as representing not just Satan, but pagan Rome. So when we consider that the dragon is giving papal Rome its authority, seat, and power, then the above historical scenario takes on great significance.) Though this decree was given in 533 A. D., it was not fully implemented until the rebel Ostrogoths were devastated in 538 A. D. 5. Exactly 1260 years later, (42 figurative months of days =1260) in the year 1793, France declared the political reign of the Vatican null and void, and 5 years later general Berthier of the imperial army invaded Rome and took the pope captive and disbanded the college of cardinals, EXACTLY 1260 years after general Berthier entered Rome and freed the city from the Ostrogoths. You are quite correct. The Bible doesn't say anything of an individual false future Messiah fulfilling the role of Antichrist. It is an institution. The little horn that rises among the ten, is a political entity, with a difference. It is also religious. The man of sin, the son of perdition, grows out from from within the community of believers, just as Judas was one of the twelve, and just as the apostle John said of the forerunners to the final antchrist..... 18 ¶ Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. ....and while it may appear to be an individual that we need to watch for, it is a church/state union that prophecy is warning us of as being the final threat to religious freedom worldwide. No, I don't see Islam as counterfeit Christianity. You will never come across a counterfeit $99. Islam does not resemble Christianity in any way. It doesn't claim to be Christian. The counterfeit looks like the original...the closer to the original the more effective it will be. It claims to be Christian. It looks Christian. It practices many traditions and teachings that purport to be, and resemble Christian practice and teaching. That is not Islam...therefore Islam is not the deception of the last days...Islam is not as the term 'antichrist' means, 'replacing Christ'...'in the room of Christ'. It does not counterfeit the roles of Christ; Priest, Prophet, King. You will not have to go far to find the real counterfeit, nor go back to far in history to discover a time when nearly all the Protestant world knew and understood who this was. As to your hypothesis that we shouldn't be practicing Christianity because of the presence of a counterfeit. If you are going to throw away your real $100 notes because there are counterfeits around,can I have them please?

Pray tell me, how will the world be deceived by such a tactic as this? In 2 Thess. 2:1 we are told that there was to be a falling away first, which will reveal the antichrist, or as Paul describes him, the man of sin or son of perdition. Now falling away in this instance is a falling into apostasy; divorce. Any divorce necessitates a prior favourable relationship. The only other example of a ‘son of perdition’ is Judas Iscariot. Did Judas openly and with force oppose Christ? Did he attack His teachings and disagree with Jesus claims to divinity? Did he argue and debate everything Jesus stood for and seek the destruction of His followers? No. Not by any means. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. He betrayed Him with an act of apparent love, fellowship, and friendship. He undermined and betrayed Jesus at the same time as claiming Him to be his friend!! This squares perfectly with the meaning of antichrist. He is not an opposer, but a subtle imposter. A counterfeit. An imposter of Jesus Christ. A false copy, or forgery of the true. Antichrist is therefore a person or power who impersonates the offices of Priesthood, the Prophet or spokesmanship, and the Kingly rule of Christ. The office that ministers for God, speaks for God, and rules for God

Actually, it harmonizes perfectly. But you need to understand history as opposed to guessing about the future. What kingdom was it from which grew the ten horns? What were those ten kingdoms? What were the 3 that were destroyed? What kingdom was it that grew in the midst of the ten, and took an active role in uprooting those 3, and then held great religious influence over the remaining 7 off and on for the following 1260 years? Who was this little horn power that persecuted the saints mercilessly over that same period? Who was this power who lost her power precisely at the end of the 1260 period but regained it 130 odd years later and has been growing in power and influence ever since? Investigate these questions and you will discover more criteria regarding the little horn power that conclusively reveals it is already with us today and was recognized by Bible scholars as long as 800 years ago.

I have long promoted the concept of the antichrist being a counterfeit of the true Christ; his religion a counterfeit of the Christian faith. (Gospel of John) Was slain (Rev 5:6) Was resurrected (Rev1:18) Received worship after resurrection (Math 28:17) For those who would indulge in thinking that perhaps Islam or some other religion or religious leader is the Antichrist, I would remind them that counterfeits are copies of the truth. You do not get counterfeit $99 notes. The counterfeit religion, the counterfeit god, the counterfeit worship of the last days, Babylon the Great, is a quasi Christianform of worship, a Christian God, a Christian form of church. That my friends is what makes it so dangerous, so deceptive. It also means that the mark of the beast is a quasi Christian mark or practice enforced through government legislationb and financial restraints used as incentive to accept it.

Just in the previous chapter David put on a gold crown studded with precious jewels taken from his enemies. This suggests pride and ambition creeping into his character...traits Satan knew well and thus able to take full advantage....resulting shortly thereafer in his vain numbering of Israel.

I have nothing to prove my theory, thus it will be just that: my opinion. My mind belongs to God..Satanhas no jurisdiction or influence there, unless I give it him. Satan, having immense intelligence, and 6000 years of practice, is an expert in reading body language and human emotion. And we give him an open door into our thoughts when we read inappropriate litrature, watch offensive entertainment, and partake in activities that belong to this world. Evil pass-times are an open invitation to his lies and deceit. That is why if we are to enjoy an overcoming Christian walk, our thughts and works must center or focus on Christ at all times.

Wrong. The very fact that the Bible says Adam was created in the image of God proves He wasn't referring to the angels when He said "let us make man in our image"...we were not created in the image of angels. Another point. The dragon is Satan. Not the woman riding it.

Now that I can agree with. The problem today is that the bride doesn't want to wear the wedding garment. She keeps altering the pattern and trying on the latest fashions..... I also like good true war movies ...maybe worth seeing at the local drive in where we can take out the deck chairs and the picnic hampers. Who here saw "Hacksaw Ridge" and what did you think of it? At first I thought it overstated...exagerrated...but after reading Doss's biography and listening to interviews, realized that Mel Gibson left out some details to make the story believable! In other words, it was understated. A great Hollywood depiction I thought.

Thing is though the Bible says nothing about any 'renovation' particularly as it would be of a temporary nature... Isaiah 65:17 ‭For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.‭...thus clearly refers to far more than a simple renovation, as anyone would be constantly reminded of the former earth if there were still sacrifices, potential for sin, and constant evidence of the recent past destruction. 2Peter 3:13 ‭Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.‭ ...this is the true promise and that which ultimately is our hope:not a 1000 year temporary fix-up. The new heavens, after passing away with a great noise and with fervent heat and fire, is totally and completely recreated. Same with the earth. And when does that take place? No where does the Bible say that the 1000 years is an earthly rule. What the Bible does say is that when Jesus returns for His bride, as has been demonstrated throughout Middle Eastern tradition, He, the Bridegroo, takes them to His home. John 14:1-3 ‭Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.‭ In my Father’s house are many mansions: if ‭it were‭ not ‭so‭, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.‭ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, ‭there‭ ye may be also.‭

Both Psalm 90 and 2 Peter3 speak of the concept of time being of no consequence to God...His omniscience overcomes all obstacles that man is subject to; therefore if God can be so patient over so long a time as a 1000 years, we can be patient for at least one day through our confidence in Him.

According to the popular belief, Jesus is going to reign 1000 years in person, presumably right after the last of the plagues. The earth is going to look something like, to be honest, after reading the following it would be anyone's guess as to what it would look like, but one thing for sure, it will be uninhabitable. Isaiah 24:19 ‭The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.‭ Isaiah 24:20 ‭The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.‭ Isaiah 13:13 ‭Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.‭ Jeremiah 4:23 ‭I beheld the earth, and, lo, ‭it was‭ without form, and void; and the heavens, and they ‭had‭ no light.‭ 4:24 ‭I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.‭ 4:25 ‭I beheld, and, lo, ‭there was‭ no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. 4:26 ‭I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place ‭was‭ a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, ‭and‭ by his fierce anger.‭

Yes. Read the gospels. All four. Several times each. And keep reading them until such time as you are sure. Eventually you will discover, if you want to, that fear of death is not a valid reason for love. You will discover that the character and nature of God is all the reason you need to fall head over heels in love with Him and be willing to die rather than offend Him. It will always be your choice...no-one here can decide for you.
