  1. I keep thinking about when I first came to this website. I had no idea how it worked, but immediately I found one person had added me as a friend. Imagine, someone felt I was worthy to call me his friend! He couldn't possibly know me, what i am like, the struggles I have. He didn't wait to get to know me, he simply added me. Just a website, but it meant something to me. Now, I don't remember ever having a conversation with him, but I am always reading the scripture he posts. I've gotta say I love that man! Here's the thing, I realize I don't treat people like that. I keep my wall up. I love going to church, but its going to take a lot of growing to open myself up, and accept that I won't always like how people in church treat me. I think I want people in church to be perfect, and some seem to put that expectation on me. Until we finally go home, we are meant to grow our relationship with Jesus, and I don't think that can be done without learning to love each other, whether we find that perfect church or not. Maybe we are missing the point by trying to find the perfect church where we feel we fit in. Maybe the difficult church is actually what we need to learn more.
  2. Adding in scripture from the rest of the bible proves it was indeed day one. Let scripture explain itself and you will see.
  3. Yep, little by little. Gradual, and it will seem to be in your best interest.
  4. True, names were not given with the data. Compile enough data about any given region and by process of elimination, computer programs, etc, names can be linked. Every computer has its own identity on the net. Seems to me, requiring citizens to sign up for something by law, and then sharing data collected, equals gossiping about its citizens, without their consent. Considering how much information is collected in various methods, it seems futile to fight for individual privacy. Increased selective persecution is coming. With all the data available, our government will feel compelled to fix problems before they occur. Innocent until proven guilty will not register.
  5. I appreciate how often you take the time to explain context and intent. These 5 different ways, I was wondering if you would be willing to expand on, maybe a new thread? Or direct me to where i could read some more on this?
  6. Butero, as a son of our Father, I trust in Him, I believe in eternal security. As I see it, the passages you provide do not affect my eternal security, only my walk with Him.
  7. Interesting, just this morning i read where Saudi Arabia itself has a history of NOT lowering its flags when it's kings die. I have not found a followup article, but they were not expecting to have any flags at half mast.
  8. How about legitimate facts and arguments to state your case? Listing names of people who agree with you does not really demonstrate your case? This argument has been going on since 2003 hmbld...... I've posted reams of things in the past to have people just say...... that's not true. I stopped spending loads of time a while back... If you are really interested and want to spend some time I can suggest several books with loads of documents that can't be put here...... Not really interested in the book of enoch, as you said yourself it might only have some truth in it. Why spend any time with that? I don't spend a lot of time following these threads, but in the last several pages you are not presenting a solid case. I'm not really invested in this thread, but i think it is important to recognize when something contradicts the bible, and a strong case is made against enoch, big bang, and gap theory. Scripture was given 3 pages ago proving gap theory false. I was surprised at the John 3:16 claim though. If someone is using that reference as an excuse to live sinfully, really shows the condition of their heart. A certain translation is not contributing to their heart condition; even a casual examination of scripture show we are not to sin at will, and when a person believes John 3:16, does a change occur where they no longer look for a free pass to sin?

    DOLLAR CRASH

In recent years I read more and more news articles stating many countries are pushing to cut ties to the US dollar, and some of these countries are big players. Yes but the game is being played that still puts those countries in further risk than they already are if they dump the dollar. The best thing for all nations is to figure this out without destroying anyone. Which is the whole UN ideal in the first place. We love our conspiracies but China is a house of cards and needs every player to be playing and so do we. Globalization is one big nut to crack. Can the US continue its deficit indefinitely? I've never had an economics class but i just see it probable at some point for other countries to fall away from the dollar. You brought up China, i don't understand why they keep pushing to cut ties to the dollar, yet they are heavily invested in our debt, and i don't see our government ever paying this debt back. What happens when other countries finally accept what they already know will happen, that the US can't pay back its debt?
  11. Those cell lines were started from fetal tissue, but to make the statement the way you are making it, it looks as though you are saying that they are killing babies to make these vaccines...... There are huge amounts of research and drug manufactureing that is done using the three cell lines that are available...... the babies were aborted by the parents for various reasons and a lot of good has come from the use of the tissue that has been produced from these three. I see nothing wrong with using the tissue any more than I would organ transplants. While I don't pay homage to those companies, I do give them thanks that my wife can still walk.... My wife and I refuse to get any vaccine using aborted babies as part of the process. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/facing-up-to-vaccines-created-with-aborted-fetal-cells Besides vaccines, you have the debate of the stem cells used in research for soft drinks and a whole lot of foods. Seems too much to keep up on!

  13. I have to agree, and have had the same thoughts. I have to add that I am part of this problem. I even wanted to talk directly with you two weeks ago on something you posted, and decided not too. Seems hard to develop friendships because then I would actually have to be a friend myself, lol. Just being honest, many times it's hard to make time for others when so much is going on with just getting through each day. God bless you and thanks for posting.
  14. Praise God! Always good to hear your joy come across in what you write!
  15. If I had a billion dollars, I'd enjoy giving away more than 50%. I'd give my kids a couple of million each, set aside ten million for me and the misses, then travel the world looking for individual people to help. Lol that brings up one point I was thinking. It seems common place for many rich people to set up a foundation in their own name. I guess they want their name to live longer than they physically can. Never understood why would I care about my name, especially after I've died? Lol
  16. I just read over 125 billionaires have signed the giving pledge, pledging to give away at least 50% of their total wealth.
  17. Luke 16:22-24 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. The bible repeatedly tells us we have the choice, but we do not know how long we will live to make this choice, now is the time to answer Jesus who calls to us, and most assuredly there are many who miss the narrow road.
  18. God does not lie. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
  19. He can also help us. If your friend thought it was a good idea to go to hell forever wouldn't you help him? Same with God. God did help us; He gave us truth, it can be found in the bible. How we think something should be like, does not make it true.
  20. Back to God gave us free will. He gave it to us. We can choose heaven or hell.
  21. I feel like I'm doing a really bad job as a Christian because I don't know stuff like this. It seems like everyone else gets it. - Actually, i for one don't quite get it either. But I know from reading the bible that He desires ALL to come to Him. And the more times i read the bible, and not just a verse here or there, but the entire bible, the more unfathomable I realize our Father is, which instead of making me question Him more, somehow I know I can trust Him all the more, as His wisdom is beyond comprehension. Keep asking! God bless,
  22. You asked why, and you were given reasons why. I have a strange feeling you are trying to figure out why God just doesn't remove them from existence once they die instead of eternity without Him, which is hell itself. I'm starting to feel like an idiot here. Everyones telling me the same thing, but I'm just getting more confused. I really have no idea why God would not remove them from existence. It's not like they will be saved. I must have missed when you told me why. It just sounds to me like everyone is saying what hell is and who goes there, but not why. Can you dumb it down for me? Thanks for sticking with me! Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Still does not say the why, but instead says God made our souls immortal. I think we all have wondered questions like this at times.
  23. If Jesus is the light, and everything good, and calls to each of us to come to Him, and we choose not to, what would you call eternity spent in the absence of that?
