  1. I have had the joy of having had a German Shepherd and a Labrador Retriever. To me, both were members of the family. I never really kept track of how much we spent on them. They sure brought a lot of joy into my life while they were with us. I miss them both, very much.
  2. I really enjoyed what you shared! Great! Thank you! May the LORD continue to speak to you and continue to flow, "Rivers of living water," from the depths of your being into the lives of those around you! Sincerely, Roger
  3. The best places to go to begin to get answers to your question are: John chapter 14, John chapter 15, and John chapter 16! It may help you to underline or hilight all the places in these three chapters where Jesus speaks about the Holy Spirit! Meditate on them, and ask God to open your eyes and elevate your level of understanding. In these three chapters of the book of John, you will find amazing answers to all of your questions! Perhaps this will be the beginning of your journey of understanding more about the Holy Spirit! I am excited for you because many years ago, your questions were my questions!!!!!!! God bless you, sincerely, Roger
  4. Oh God, please touch the hearts of the nearly 15 percent and transform each of them into a shining light of your love. Let them mightily impact those around them and bring them to Jesus Christ. O Heavenly Father, please open the eyes of the 10 percent who walk in fear of the Mayan calendar. Let them see that You ordain times, seasons, and the boundaries of mankind. Let them see and understand their need for Your Son, Jesus Christ, to dwell in their hearts. Oh God, let man's numbers become Your new multitudes, dressed in white, holding palm fronds in their hands, all standing on the sea of glass before Your Throne, shouting, "Salvation belongs to our God...We ask in Jesus Holy Name!
  5. Hello my friend! There is a promise in Jeremiah that says, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart!" I have a recommendation that may help you! When you can, go to your county library and in the 200 section, look for books on Christian doctrine. A good sized library will have a number of doctrine books that you can borrow. Get a couple and read not only the text, but look up the verses that they refer you to. Perhaps your pastor has a doctrine book in his personal library that he will let you borrow for a few weeks. The study of the doctrine of the trinity is fascinating and encouraging! You will enjoy it!
  6. Wow! Lots of good input! Every once in a while I read Revelation Chapters 2 - 3 to hear what Jesus says and feels about the church. Heavy words from Jesus Christ, addressed to seven churches, but actually addressed to me. The one phrase that really touches my heart is, "He that has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches!" Maybe the answer is to pray for all the church that we would hear what the Spirit is saying and begin to take action steps to implement what He wants...
  7. Amazing!
  8. As I read the article, I was reminded of Jesus' words to His disciples in Matthew 24:1-10. I wonder if there are any churches in or near the French village mentioned in the article? This would be an incredible opportunity for ministry. So many people seeking, and so many afraid of what they think is coming. Oh Heavenly Father, please draw many from the deceptions of this age, into a trusting faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Touch the hearts of the believers in the churches who are in or near this French village and ignite a revival that is too big to stay inside the walls of a building, a village, or even a region. Send Your Light into their souls, seal them with Your Precious Holy Spirit and transform them from new age seekers into new creations in Christ. We ask for these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.
  9. I really enjoyed all the comments from you guys! Makes me want to read the book of Revelation again sometime soon!
  10. Really something! Sounds like one of those old-fashioned science fiction movies!
  11. I remember reading in I Kings about how Elijah took time away from ministry after the power encounter on the top of Mt. Carmel. Amazingly enough, after Elijah returned to ministry, he was never again made to retreat, it was full speed ahead from that time forward. Maybe we could all do with a little bit of time to step back, get alone with God, and get revived and hear new marching orders from The Almighty!!!
