  1. good angels..... bad angels...... description sounds like an angel...... I've never heard a demon described like that anywhere else...... the two that lived with us for a few years surely didn't look anything like that. Woah woah woah! You have got to recount this story in far greater detail! I've talked about it before and it would really take this thread into a different realm....... dont see any wings on the angels God sent to earth over the years. I found 68 listingsof angels none had wings. So to say these two women are described as an angel where does that though come from? thanks they are heavenly beings...... there are all kinds of entities that can be Gods workers...... I guess I just refer to them all as angels.... just different kinds...... There are the winged things that were represented on the ark of the covenant. Archangels Cherubim and other kinds.... Angel is a generic term from my understanding of the word. And at least two of them were female with wings. I see what you mean about Generic name. In the verses he speaks of the Angel speaking to him. Now I would think he would recognize the two females as angels and call them angels; rather than call them women. So it looks like this one is confusing.

  3. this site has a lot of info on rfi its a long read. I do think rfi can be harmfull over time I can not vouch for this site you would have to decide that yourself.
  4. Just out of curiosity what are these two women with wings... what was/is that temple? the only angel in these verses is; " then the angel speaking with me" the two women with wings are not called angels so they may be evil spirits, they were dealing with evil also v8
  5. Luke 12: 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. and another set of verses. I too have a problem with my family not all believing or not believing the same message the Bible give us.
  6. I have a queston in the verse quoted. according to this article the "making of out cast" has already started. In the verse it says " but an hour is coming " so the hour is hear now How long does this hour last I mean if a time = 1 year then an hour can not be that long. and do you know what happens after this hour?
  7. God ( Jesus ) is the same yesterday today and for ever. Heb 13:8 God set man over woman I would speculate he would not reverse these roles. Of course I do not know for sure.
  8. maybe. I understand it this way, I could be wrong. they got impatient waiting for Moses to return V4 ( and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf ) if we look here 21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? 22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief. 23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. I say Aaron was covering his but from the wrath of Moses in this last verse. What he says happened in V24 does not match what he did in V4. It says that he made it a molten calf then took the tool to it. so I ask, did he just lie to Moses and no one confronted him on it? that seems like a pretty serious kind of thing. I guess that tends to drive me to my impression of it. Did I miss anyone asking Aaron about it? This is just one of those mental things to me, I haven't given it that much thought..... from my personal experience it would not surprise me that he could have melted the gold and the things just came crawling out of the bucket. Something that serious had to have the devil involved...... and with God killing so many who worshiped it, it would seem rather odd if God didn't do anything to Aaron for making it..... v23 implies Moses was gone a long time and they did not think he was coming back Aaron may have feared for his life and made the idol. When Moses questioned Aaron v21 he tried to put blame on the people v 22-v23 these people had been in Egypt 400 years and had grown accustomed to their way of life. I can see the possibility of that but in reality it would be conjuncture for us to say that is definitely the reality of it...... then it still bothers me that Aaron seems to just skate by with nothing said to him about his actions with any real substance to it. They killed three thousand people just that day over it. oh yes Im not saying my thoughts are right Its just the way I thought, I am not one to be right much.

  10. as the angels does not mean that they are angels...... it means that they like the angels will not be married. It is my understanding that we will be like Jesus physically. Yes, other one I agree with you.we are made lower than angels and will attain a higher position so we will NOT be angels but we will be like them in that there is no marriage. Made lower than the angels is a reference to the flesh, the "image of the earthy". It is not about the "image of the heavenly" we also will put on at Christ's coming. Sorry for the confusion I was not speaking of images. The bible clearly says we were created lower than angels. Heb 2:7 -- Psa 8:5 and it says we will judge angels 1 Corin 6:2-3 Now judging angels; I do not think means what comes to mind. I think it means supervise, or to be over in some way.

  12. the Holy spirit does not lust or envy so it must be human spirit that lusteth to envy. lust isnt a bad thing. envy on the other hand i dont quite understand Matthew 5:28 But I say to you, That whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. it appears to be bad. lust can also be interpreted into a longing to know Jesus and to make him known. but yes strong sexual desire is a form of lust too in the verse James 4:5 it says lusteth to envy. envy is the wanting of something someone else has. In this verse submitted by 19Duggerfan (op). I think it is bad and it is not the holy spirit in one that lust until it becomes envy. I do not believe the holy spirit in each christian would envy what another has.

  16. what about these earlier verses. do they have something to say 2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. 3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
