@Caste Theory. That says it all doesnt it? lol Im certain that anyone who claims need of proof has proven already that they dont know the truth. But its always fun to cross swords with anyone willing to spar. Perhaps you can sharpen their blade and help them cut through the fog.

I agree that Zechariah is pertinent to our current situation. Jerusalem is definitely a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone to the (United) nations. This is the geopolitical climate necessary to facilitate the nations of the world to the day of battle. There are even some elements which seem to point to nuclear or bio/chem warfare. Zechariah 14:12 "Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth" Whatever the cause that event isnt going to be pretty. We can comfort ourselves with the knowledge that no matter when the anti Christ makes his move the elect wont be deceived and throughout all this we have God as our surety and His promise to us of eternal life with Him.

John 2:18 says "ye have heard THAT anti Christ which is to come", which sounds to me like an individual, of course anyone against Christ is anti Christ but theres plenty of indication in scripture pointing towards an individual amongst the many. Amen Fresno Joe they can off with our head but cant cast us into the lake of fire.

Lets take a look at the oft misquote "render unto caeser." Mark 12:13 "And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. 14And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for THOU REGARDEST NOT THE PERSON OF MEN, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? 15Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. 16And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. 17And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him." Notice the situation. The Pharisees are trying to find a reason to kill Jesus by getting him to openly rebel against caeser by coercion tempting Him to say dont pay tribute (taxes), do you think Jesus was endorsing caeser or was He proving His point to the Pharisees that they cant bind Him by the law?, to render to God the things (or tribute as the context implies) that are Gods was the point of this message. You cant serve God and money. Point noted, moving on to "royalty". God was none to pleased about Israel conspiring to have a king like the gentiles as we see here in Samuel. 1 Samuel 8:4 "Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, 5And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. 6But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. 7And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them." I suggest further reading of Samuel 8 but this verse clarifies what God thinks of Israels desire for a king. God says they have rejected me. What more need I say?

This is a Hebrew term for worship and its definition. Shachah - "to depress, i.e. prostrate: bow (self) down, crouch, fall down (flat), humbly beseech, do (make) obeisance, do reverence, make to stoop, worship." I didnt create the term nor its definition and it clearly states to bow, reverence, worship. Bowing is synonymous with worship, mystery solved, now you know and knowing is half the battle according to G.I. Joe. Want more evidence?, lets look at a Greek term and its definition. Proskuneo - "meaning to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand), to fawn or crouch to, homage (do reverence to, adore): worship." These terms are from the Bible to denote worship Im not randomly pulling them off the top of my head. There are a couple others used in Greek but proskuneo is most frequent. Notice to kiss like a dog licking his masters hand, think its a good idea to kiss the popes hand?, and still the idea of bowing is evident with: to fawn or crouch, as proskuneo is defined. I hope this is insightful enough to hammer the point deeply in your heart and fasten the knowledge securely in your mind. The time is coming when its going to be a question of worship anti Christ or die, wether or not its in our generation God knows, but its written and so it shall be, so get prepared, get your children prepared, get as many prepared as is possible because many seem to think the church is going to fly away forgetting he (the beast with two horns like a lamb) caused as many that would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Its going to be a game changer for those who harbor fear of death when persecution becomes an inescapable reality for Christians. Alarming?, maybe but death is nothing to worry about with Christ. Death where is thy sting! Keep the faith!, your servant in Yhowshuwa Moshiach Matthew

Christ didnt come to abolish the law but to fulfill and Jesus' life is the example of the law perfected. I dont mean to be insulting but saying God cant be understood through logic is illogical. Jesus is the Word which in Greek is Logos, care to guess the etymology (source) of the term logic? If you said logos youre right on target which is good because sin means to miss the mark and were reasoning to get the point! Babel where is thy confusion? lol Babel comes from the Hebrew bablu which means confusion. (Its an inside joke and I invited you all into my peace/piece of mind). Now lets discuss law which comes from lego, like the building blocks (coincidence?), hence the term legal, and the pun of the saying you dont have a LEG to stand on (which is to say you dont have a LEGitimate reason), anyway lego is Latin and comes from the Greek legein i.e. to speak. Logos as a suffix is logy, which means the study of, whereas Nomos becomes nomy: the law of. Nomos: law shares its etymology with nomen: name. The Word is a name of God. That last one is a bit of a stretch but still applicable. This just logical wordplay, lol, lets move on to law in action. Jesus said love your enemies pray for those who persecute you. How better an example of loving an enemy and praying for those that persecute you than when Jesus prayed for His murderers "forgive them Father for they know not what they do". He healed the soldier who had his ear cut off in His apprehension. He taught us that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our hearts all our minds and all our souls, and the second which is like it, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. This is why Christ came first to Israel, Gods chosen, complying to the will of the Father even though the gentile nations would have welcomed Jesus as Christ had he performed the same miracles in their borders (see Luke 10:13) but once Stephen was stoned the gospel was spread to the gentile neighbors of Israel. Love your neighbor as you love yourself indeed. There are countless examples in the Bible of Gods law in effect and same can be said about daily life. "He who leads into captivity goes into captivity", study history and you will see this law in effect, "the wages of sin are death", thats all to obvious, "to he who has even more will be given him to he who has not even what he has will be taken away", countless examples of this in reality. I know those passages have context they are tied to but Gods laws arent bound by context they are immutable laws which are in reality just one law, LOVE. Do unto others as you would have done unto you for that is the law and the prophets. As you judge so you shall be judged. See the logical consistancy? There is no flaw in Gods righteous judgement only in mans understanding and expression of His law. Alright Ive written alot of info and many words darkens counsel so Ill finish with this, the Logos is Logic and diaLOGue is the Way to the Truth and the Light of reason, purpose and the means to understand the me-aning of what me means. See how awesome the Word is?!!!

I dont care that I was born in what people call america, I wouldnt bow to the president of US Inc. anymore than the queen of England Inc., God is King and He rules all. Forever live the King of Kings!!! Jesus said "the greatest amongst you will be your servant" so what does that say about the self serving "royals"? Bow before them?, never! Id rather bow to tie a childs shoes than bow to placate the ego of some self righteous narcissist! Id rather bow to pick up dog feces than bow to a human who would claim "majesty"! If I were to worship a man Id bow before a mirror but knowing Im a sinner why would I bow to sin?, theyre silly children playing dress up and running life like a monopoly game. Kingdoms are the beasts and without a doubt the ruler is the visible figure head or image of the beast. God may use them for His glory but they arent to be glorified in any respect. God is no respecter of persons. Sorry if those words seem harsh but no man besides Jesus is worthy to be bowed before ever, He is my King and I am happy He gave me fingers to type praise of Him and a mind to contemplate His majesty.

Well because you asked what I personally think Ill conjecture but keep in mind this is speculative and subject to fallibility. I think satan wanted it to be just him and God. I think satan is like a selfish child who hates his siblings because they take attention off of him. As if he reasons with himself that God doesnt need anyone but him to love Him and because God had a bigger family in mind satan became jaded and decided Gods judgement was flawed hence why he wants the judgement/mercy seat. Its funny satan wants the mercy seat considering he has no clue what mercy is. I say funny because its ironic. I dont think satan revels in sin the way man does. satan is a murderer because of his lies it wasnt a physical act like Cain but the mental act of coercion which caused man to follow a lie into death. The Pharisees loved the law but they used it to condemn not to save just like satan and opposite of Jesus hence anti Christ. I dont think satan is like the image portrayed by the media rather he is a self righteous narcissist and considers everyone beneath him and unworthy of life because he was made perfect. Almost as if he goes to God and says "see God why dont you just kill these filthy sinners because you dont need them to love you when you have me who is clean and righteous to sing your praises" and Gods like "I will have mercy and not sacrifice you fool who doesnt realise fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom now get behind me." As to why God allowed sin well thats to give glory to His mercy! Cant have mercy without anything to be merciful for. Once again this is my personal take its not in the Bible but I think if God wouldve granted us the amount of power I believe we will have in the Kingdom and we wouldve fallen to sin nuclear bombs would pale in comparison to the form of war we would wage with divine power. When God speaks what He says happens, if we had that kind of power just imagine the devestation, it would be an eternal war with no hope for peace just constant verbal attacks and defenses. The truth would be lost to us forever as we believed the lies we tell eachother and ourselves. The truth is always true no matter how many people believe a lie but if we were immortal the lies would never end and we wouldnt praise God which is and who is the Truth. Being human is humbling but some people still get that pride where they think they could dictate the universe better than God, and like I already said, satan thinks that way too. Thankfully God is God and there is no other!

God knows everything that is was and ever will be so He knew all who were saved from the beginning. God is awesome!

Your ideas of Jesus arent the Christ I know. He taught me love and forgiveness and youre talking sin and damnation. When he spoke of sin it was instruction for repentance not conviction. He said in His own words "I didnt come to judge the world but to save it." I have no doubt that God doesnt want anyone to die which is why He told Adam and Eve not to eat that *edited* fruit in, quite literally, the first place. Now here we are arguing over wether God can save a sinner from sin, after He has saved them from sin, and you fail to see the foolishness of the arguement. He is a Savior, savioring is what He does, savvy. Even if Jesus let you sit in His lap youre still not in the mercy seat. Your judgement would condemn everyone to death and death is the fruit of sin. What kind of tree do you think you are? The wisdom of this world is folly but fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom. Wisdom is the result of knowledge understood. Become an understudy to the ways of the Lord and you will know true wisdom then the spirit of prophecy, which is the testimony of Jesus Christ, will dwell within you. Learn the meaning of I will have mercy and not sacrifice. Gods judgement is righteous.

Matthew 25:34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." No mention in there of not sinning after conversion.

Youre welcome. Its good that you are dedicated to your wife and eager for her to come to Jesus first and foremost, I pray she will and hope the best for the both of you. As far as free will goes I personally dont believe in it I believe in limited choice. God says do something and we can choose to obey or disobey, we arent free to opt out of choosing, a choice must be made that is limited to this or that i.e. either you do this or that will happen. Were free to choose our master basically. All situations in life can be applied to the ten commandments and our choices either conform to or deny them which in essence is our "free will".

To deny you have a point would be foolish but the implication is terrible. Who can be saved if upon coming into knowledge of the Lord one sin and youre eternally condemned. Truly it would be better to live in ignorance never knowing the Lord and be granted mercy in ignorance than to be condemned by knowledge. Did Jesus save us merely to condemn us? Perish the thought, as Im done entertaining the notion, sin is missing the mark and you have most certainly missed the point of salvation. It is by FAITH ALONE that we are saved LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST! Yes faith without works is dead but it is only by faith in Christ that we are saved not personal merit. This brings us to how we are to be judged Matthew 25:34-46 tells us exactly what is to take place. What you do unto these the least my brethren you do unto me. I dont see Jesus weighing a persons righteousness and sins in the balance and determining if one outweighs the other rather its based on charity. He doesnt say enter the Kingdom because you prophecied in my name or because you were sinless after hearing testimony of Me, nope, He says what you do unto these the least of my brethren you do unto me. Jesus gave me a message too, though I didnt see or hear Him with physical senses, I read the Bible and through His Word He told me what He had to say. Love God with all your heart all your mind and all your soul and love your neighbor as you love yourself also love your enemy its a very consistant message with emphasis on LOVE not sin. We sin, its the nature of being a sinner, but Jesus is our salvation. Read the admonishment to the seven churches in Revelations and tell me if the saints dont sin after Jesus chews them out for their sins! Quite frankly noone would survive judgement if you were judge. Thank God He is Judge; yet it is we who judge ourselves for as you judge so you shall be judged, what a conundrum you have placed yourself in! By asserting others must be sinless once converted you have subjected yourself to the same determination, honestly I hope you are capable of the task, truly Im not and Ive never heard of nor met anyone who could so forgive my skepticism but your posts carry an tone that screams pride. It takes one to know one so yeah pride has been my failing as well.

If your looking for scripture on the subject here you go. Matthew 19:9 "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." 1 Corinthians 7:10 "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife." The Bible tells us that the only reason to put away your wife, as you already know, is for adultery. If she isnt going to remain faithful do you honestly want to deal with the stress that involves? I cant tell you what to do but as far as scripture is concerned if she will remain faithful than stay with her. Dont stress yourself about it, as difficult as it may seem, this world isnt forever anyway.

How many people have claimed they know the identity of the anti Christ, each with their own interpretation of the same scriptures in Daniel and Revelations "proving" their assertions, all of which were exposed as liars? Isaiah 28:13 "But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken."

Lol this is hilarious, God predetermines everything, He predetermined this conversation about predetermination so we could determine the nature of predetermination?!? Its as if that rod of iron He rules with is irony. hahahaha When God makes you laugh its truly a blessing. Anyhow drop the free in free will for a moment and the picture becomes much clearer. Its a will which doesnt go into effect until the death of the testator. Now bring free back and its easy to see we are free to choose if we will bear false witness against Christ or will bear testimony of Christ. Life is like a court case and our personal cases are determined by our association, testify Christ and He testifies for you. Obviously this is all simplification but it isnt an intellectual giant of a problem. God is a dictator, Matthew 4:4 "man does not live by bread and bread alone but every word that proceeds from the mouth of God", considering God says everything that man does He is quite literally a Dictator. hahahaha lol He is so humorous its too bad it goes mostly unnoticed. Im telling you guys irony has been a sure measuring rod sufficient for any who would rule. lol Take note of the pun in PUN-Ish-ment. Alright enough playing with Word associations and mixed metaphor for now.

Its best to understand the mystery of righteousness before confronting the mystery of iniquity. Knowing the ways of the Lord makes the ways of the anti Christ apparent. Wandering in the darkness without the Light will inevitably lead to stumbling. 1 John 2:26 "These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and YE NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." (emphasis added) As it works out 1 John 2:18-25 is about the anti Christ. The use of the term anointing is apt as it is Christ (the anointed) which anoints us, as is mentioned in 1 John 2:20. Let Christ tell you what scripture means and He will never steer you wrong! Dont take my word for it, take His Word. Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you."

"Love your enemy."(Matthew 5:43) There is a great amount of confusion over the day of the Lord but I know this for certain because Christ Himself said so, "do unto others as you would have done unto you for that is the law and the prophets."(Matthew 7:12) "For whoever would save his life will lose it and whoever would lose their life for my sake will save it."(Matthew 10:39/16:25) Christ is salvation and there is no other; there are many false Christs, made in the image of mans vain imagination claiming to have built the Kingdom of God when "the Kingdom of God is within you"(Luke 17:21), "flesh and blood will not see the Kingdom of God"(1 Corinthians 15:50) "And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt."(Daniel 12:2) The false teaching prevalent today is divisive lacking love and understanding "by their fruits shall ye know them"(Matthew 7:16) Love is priority number one, why?, because "God is love"(1 John 4:8) and whats the first commandment? "You shall have no other gods before Me"(Exodus 20:3) Amen

Jesus taught that a house divided against itself cannot stand. The totality of what is considered "christendom" is indeed a house divided. Jesus taught whoever didnt gather with Him scatters against Him. I pose this question to anyone of any faith, is the temple of God built with hands?(see Acts 7:48/Isaiah 66:1), or is the Temple of the Lord built upon the Cornerstone of the Word of God, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the earth, with living stones? "Who amongst us can dwell with the consuming fire?"(Isaiah 33:14) "The Lord our God is a consuming fire."!(Deuteronomy 4:24/Hebrews 12:29) We know there shall be an anti Christ but even so there are many already amongst us, false prophets, teachers, and doctrines abound. The wisdom of this world is folly. Jesus taught one resurrection, one salvation, one God, and eternal life by faith in His promise by following the commandments, and testimony of Him, Yhowshuwa Moshiach. From time to time like any man I like to conjecture and speculate about prophecy but theres a difference in speculation and assertion. The scriptures teach us not to dismiss but to test the spirits.(1 John 4:1/1 Thessalonians 5:21) We are accountable to give reason for our faith.(1 Peter 3:15) I have reason to believe that Yhowshuwa is the Moshiach a.k.a. Jesus, Iesus, Yeshua, Yahshua, Christ, Messiah, the Rock of Salvation, the Cornerstone, the Lamb, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, YHWH, Adonai Elohim, Lord of Hosts, the Most High, the Son of Man, the Son of God, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and end, the first Adam and the last Adam, the Redeemer, the Deliverer, the Word, Theo, Deo, God, Jehovah, YaHWeH, the King of Israel, High Priest, the Savior, the Living Water, the Breath of Life, the Light, the Truth and the Way, the One the Only I AM! He has many names but He is One! The generosity of the Lord is boundless and all He asks in return for His offering is that we give Him His due glory, love God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul likewise love your neighbor as you love yourself. (Luke 10:27/Deuteronomy 6:5) Love yo

Does their stand on Israel affect your vote?
xero replied to ayin jade's topic in General Discussion
Israel is no longer genealogical its by faith in Christ that we are heirs of the promise to Abraham. Vote Jesus. Eternal lives the King of Kings! Galatians 3:23 "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." -
1 Peter 4:16 "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." The term christian is only mentioned three times, to my knowledge, in the Bible; the once in 1 Peter and twice in Acts, 11:26 and 26:28, in 11:26 we learn that the term started in Antioch and in 26:28 Agrippa tells Paul he almost became a christian listening to Pauls' testimony. Nowhere, that I know of, does it mention the apostles calling themselves or the disciples christian/s but obviously 1 Peter makes it clear that we arent to be ashamed of the term when its used in reference to us followers of Christ Jesus. I agree its about actually following Christ than being called Christian.

They forgot walking on water, casting out demons, making a fish appear with money in its mouth, predicting the future, transfiguration, ascending in a cloud. But let em keep trying to imitate while never realising faith is all thats required.

You bring up some good questions. This verse lets you know who is anti Christ. 2 John 1:7"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." If you want to learn about other religions for your own sake Id say do it but Ive yet to enlighten anyone about the falsity of their blind faith. The thing is you cant save anyone if they are chosen they will hear you, and see what you are saying, but theres no point speaking to the mute in their language. A tale of two Babylons by Alexander Hislop has alot of information about the false religions, though I dont agree with all his prophetic interpretations, his work is very thorough and academic. Its available for free as pdf.
