  1. ! John 5-7 'Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God? This is the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: The Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.' I had thought it to be the Word at one point, because of Ephesians 5:26 where it says 'with the washing of water with the Word.' But I guess I'm wrong.
  2. Hospitals could always get windmills then. Personally, I think we should go with more solar panels in america. I like renewable resources, not depended on just coal, oil and gas. There is too much money invested in that among the politicians which is why we have it.
  3. Then people will have to learn live off the land and get healthy. What, do they permanently live in hospitals? Plus, neighborhoods would form their own communities and work together. That of course may be dependent upon where you live. How to cell towers operate?
  4. Oh, I think all kinds of media are unfortunately the main influences of our kids these days.
  5. Sister What you posted is not what Scripture says: Eph 1:13 - And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance. and 4:31 - and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. The 144,000 are first fruits out of Israel (All have a Jewish bloodline). For this is what Scripture says. These 144,000 follow the Lamb during the Mill. In Christ Montana Marv Montana Marv If someone follows the Lamb wheresoever he goes, what do you think that means? I knowthis wasn't addresed to me, but it is the same meaning as at the end of John when Jesus commanded Peter not to concern himself with John, but said 'You follow me! By following Jesus we go where He tells us to. Not only following His Word, but also His direction for our life in which everybody's individual instructions are different. Jesus leads, we follow.
  6. No, you’re not following the story line: Matthew 15:21-28 21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. KJV Yeshua`s mission was to offer the Kingdom to Israel. As such, He was not sent to the Gentiles - the Goyim. This woman of Kana’an (Canaan) lived in the area of Tsor (Tyre) and Tsidown (Sidon), an area where modern Lebanon exists. It was NOT part of Israel back then, and it’s not part of Israel now. We read this in Matthew 4: Matthew 4:23-25 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom (heralding the good news about the Kingdom), and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. 25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. KJV If one compares the “heralding of the good news” with Yeshua`s performing of miracles, one will find a correlation between the two. The miracles that Yeshua` performed were God’s authentication of the message that He heralded about the Kingdom He was offering. It was both God’s authentication and His endorsement of the message. Thus, the miracles were intended for the children of Israel, not the Goyim! His instructions to the twelve were similar: Matthew 10:5-8 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach (herald), saying, The kingdom of heaven (the Kingdom from the sky) is at hand (within your grasp). 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. KJV John 5:36 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. KJV John 10:33-38 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. KJV So, here we have this Goyah (female Gentile) who came to Him and said, “Have mercy on me, Sire, you Son of David; my daughter is horribly tortured with a demon.” First, she acknowledged that He was a descendant of David, and since He was identified as the “Christ” (Greek) or the “Messiah” (Hebrew), she knew that He was David’s heir to the throne. Second, she was persistent to the point that the disciples said to Yeshua` that He should send her away. Up to that point, He had been ignoring her pleas, and then He said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel,” probably within earshot of the woman. Then, third, she BOWED to Him (worshipped Him) as the King Apparent, and said, “Sire, HELP ME!" Yeshua` responded by saying something intended to be harsh: “It is not fitting to take the children's food (the miracles for the house of Israel), and throw it to the dogs (Gentiles)." Fourth, she answers, “That’s true, Sire: yet the dogs can eat the scraps which fall from their masters' table.” And, basically, she was asking for Him to just consider her as His pet dog! She acknowledged that He was her master! She KNEW that He COULD perform the miracle and heal her daughter, and she KNEW that, with the right persuasion, that He WOULD perform this miracle for her, even though she was a foreigner. THAT’S the kind of “faith” or TRUST that she had in Him! That’s why Yeshua` relented and performed this healing for her daughter. That is how muslims view their relationship with God, not christians do. This is not what she was doing here. This has to do with the status of her people in relationship to the Jewish nation - the Samaritans were as dogs to the Jews, and this is what she is referring to and acknowledging - not her relationship to God, but to the Jewish people. She basically said, even dogs are fed scraps, and we are called dogs; at least give me what a dog is given, and even that tiny bit will be enough to heal my daughter. I think I said that back in one of my responses.
  7. Well I was referring to those specific churches in that person's city. That since I don't live there, I could'n't really know if there are many or few who act 'ungodly' as someone stated before me in who's post I quoted. You still cannot point to a specific church you know absolutely nothing about and automatically assume it is not a real church, so to speak. Or that one bad report is heard about one person and assume that represents the whole church. Or even two bad reports still doesn't give the right to clump and judge every person in that church as the same. Like a church full of one or two hundred members all acting the same way? Some maybe old and been there all their life when things were right. Or some called to stay and pray for that church. Who knows? Some sticking out and trying to make things right. Just the way I see it anyway. And I know people who have been called to stick it out and pray. Seems like prayer is where it starts, so I've heard many times.

Yes, buT the fact that it is recorded before that He healed the centurians servent and said He had not found such great faith in all Isreal, yet talks to this other Gentile in this way does cause questions about why he said these things to her instead. I guess you forgot about that guy.
  9. But actually, I wouldn't know. So don't clobber me.
  10. Well, maybe those few are making a name for everybody else??
  11. Hi Pamelasv, I'm not sure if you are addressing your comments to those that hijacked this thread or to the topic of the thread itself but I'm going to respond as if you are addressing the topic of the thread if I'm wrong you can let me know by adding another 2 cents worth. I agree that this problem couldn't really be happening in All churches over the globe and I don't lump them all together because I know that every single church out there is different no one church is alike. I too agree that there are churches that do follow the Word of God in an upright manner according to God's word and the instructions that have been given in scripture. But at the same time there are many churches who are not operating according to God's righteous instructions found in the Word of God. I'm really not talking per say to the churches themselves as a whole but I am speaking rather towards the pastors of those specific churches who use their authority in a manipulative manner and in doing so they are ursurping their particular authority over the husbands in their own homes. In the which I believe the pastors are going to far and marriage problems are occuring as a result of the over stepping of bounds by manipulation. I welcome your two cents it adds up you know. But I do know that the Spirit and flesh war against one another and do know there are good churches among the many that are bad. I No, there was some discussions about churches later on that I was referring to. It is a funny thing. There used to be a joke about this city that there are as many churches as there are bars here. That means alot of bars and alot if churches. Which there are.
  12. I probably shouldn't stick my two cents in here, but something I want to say is that it really isn't ALL churches, or probably even close. Lumping them all together when speaking of churches in certain manners. You know? There are plenty that go by the Word of God in an honest manner. I have attended 3 in the last 25 years, and they all preached straight from what the Bible says, all in the same city. Now, if that is only one little city in all this vast world, or even this united states, that is many many churches that it is highly likely do the same.
  13. I have a samsung gallery 6. I think. I once knew, but I forgot. Im the one who picked them out for us as a bargain during a special someone was having somewhere, so yes, i did once know.
  14. Could you be more specific? After you go on photobucket, go to the library, then what? What buttons do you hit?
  15. Actually avacados are praised for being healthy.
  16. Arm roasts are the best imo. Naturally salty and have there own flavor. Just sprinkle a little pepper and be amazed! Tight fitting cover too. They fall right apart when cooked long enough. Also they will give you a large amount of leftovers to reuse and season in a different way the next time. Reheat the shredded meat in some barbecue sauce maybe. Good stuff.
  17. No, not everybody says that it was an apple. Most people assume that because it is what they heard. I think when painters started painting Adam and Eve, they had to picture some sort of fruit so they picked an apple. That may very well be where that came from. And for some reason, that just popped into my mind.
  18. Interesting conversation, I mostly go into the doctrine questions only so I'm used to sarcasm and a couple angry people. But it is refreshing to have seen these posts because love rules! Thankyou for the reminder.
  19. In Genesis 14:13. The first time I noticed it mentioned, Abraham was called a Hebrew. The land of his birth was the Chaldeans, then they moved to Haran before God called him to go to Caanan. So where did that description of Hebrew derive from?
  20. To rearrange words, it says by abiding in Him ( His ways/word) then love is perfected in us. We either walk in His love or walk out of it, or walk in and out of it. He still loves us, but walking in His love means you then are walking in His favor, He is able to better bless you because He cannot bless sin.
  21. If the bible is updated in it's use of words/ current in meaning, then a modern dictionary should be helpful.
  22. I have heard that the meanings of words can change somewhat through out the years. There is proof of that, too. There was an example given. Plus, I find reading the kings James version difficult, like an impede ment in my learning, since I am unfamiliar with that kind of talk. I don't even know what some of those words mean! I'm sure it is fine for people who grew up with it. And some do enjoy it.
  23. I was led to get this bible because it had many exhorting topics explained by the writer that just so happened ( or God ordained) to be things I was going thru and they were VERY encouraging, knowing that this God ordained teacher is now 81 and lived them and also heard countless questions from congregational members thru out the years of his seasoned life, in which he has some really good things to offer. He is fully convinced that the nasb is the most accurate. He accually said 'WE are fully convinced.' I would be wise to listen to this man verses somebody on the Internet I don't even know.
