  1. hi if you would be true then only those that come out of the only one time event are saved ;and that would be the biggest untruth ever
  2. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. Psalms 133 hi thanks you signature misses something i believe ;Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” Christ work as been done for God
  3. hi the only thing i can tell you is this ;starting today trust God and his son ;and never look back pray to them for they can do what no one can ;i know for what they did for me ,God bless you
  4. hi all I have always found that the scriptures offer to all that hear the gospel and apply it to their lives will be saved (saved meaning will receive their life back for a everlasting one ) even scriptures says that their are two calls but same results ;receiving life , some on earth and some in heaven , this is decided by God and his son , not by any other ,
  5. hi what you have to understand is that it is God that make or bring you to righteousness so that no man can claim to be righteous unless he becomes righteous in his own eyes in a way blind to himself
  6. This not talking about God choosing who will or will not be saved. You highlighted part of a verse and ignored the last half. It says we were chosen in him bdfore the found of the world to be holy and blameless before Him in love. It is not talking about who will or will not be saved. It is talking about what God has chosen or predestined for those who are saved. hi shiloh357 i went through to a few of your quotes and i am impressed with your answers ,for i found them to be true , good work ,i will go and read more of your quotes ,thanks
  7. hi well done ,you are not asleep that is for sure , good thinking , most of religion ,have made up their own story for whatever event should come and go ,when presented the words of Christ even God they prefer to stay in line with their own view ,for they are now become a victim themselves of their own making ,just like the pharisees and the others ,this is how we can recognized the true from the false ;truth from lies ,
  8. No it is not a religious ritual. It is an ordinance that Jesus commanded us to do. It is needed because it is an act of obedience to the Lord. Where does Jesus say water baptism is a requirement for faith salvation. I didnt say it was a requirement for salvation. It is a requirement because Jesus said to do it. just because we are required to do it by Jesus doesn't mean it is necessary for salvation. If you love Jesus, then being obedient in this area will not be a problem. hi and yes baptism is become a religion sectarian ritual ,not for God or his son ,but for the individual club ,to guarantee succession to the club, for like God and Christ have set up a club of their own made by men and for men ? Christ himself as made disciples to which he made his father known ,and so make them to only worship the father and not him, since God is spirit and truth ,it obvious that they do not have any representation on earth that anyone can see as his ,but they both can have people that shines through the spirit of truth by having submit themselves to God without restriction ,those are the true believers ,for they are true within their own soul ,and so belong to Christ and his father ;no human establishment needed for them ,GOD's truth is suffusion, no fear of dead, all fears have been gone ,for God is their savior through his son Jesus Christ ;not a religion ,amen . to add, none of the religion today are baptizing the way they should any way ,
  9. Hi Salty, the measurements of the kingdom are here; Revelation 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. In our terms, that is 2414 km square. I agree! hi this looks more as the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven , is now a city a kingdom ?
  10. hi good scriptures the reason why the world can not receive it ,is not because God does not want them to have it ,it is because truth can not be understood through lies and deceit , it does not matter how you go about it ,this is why we have so many sect religion ,and with so many believes ;the apostles never ad that problem within them as a group but with those new converts they ad ,for they had their own mind and could not see truth in what was preached to them by the apostles
  11. Jn 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Jn 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Jn 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” of cause now we have to understand what Jesus meant when he says the word "BELIEVE " It is my conviction that Jesus used simple straight forward use of words. Our problem has been that we are twisted and evil, covering ourselves with fig leaves. For this cause to believe is to drop the leaves. As behead is to losing ones head belief is to losing the leaves. English however is a very dark language that hides the truth deep in the evil roots of spelling which bewitches the evil hearts of men who wish to excuse themselves and continue walking in darkness willingly ignorant of the truth so plainly set out for our inspection in the bible. To believe means to follow by constant calling upon the name of love, joy, peace, patience, meekness, temperance, goodness, gentleness and faith. Faith is measured by ones faithfulness. Be blessed friend. hi yes in deed you right , even the leaves would hide some of our sins ,so to speak
  12. nothing is so far from the truth ; Pr 8:30 Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, Pr 8:31 rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind. Uh huh! "Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God." Hebrews 10:7 yes ,but he did it for he loved his father and also love mankind ,for if no one would have been for mankind then all mankind would have been destroyed already at the flood , it is because of the love of God and his son that we are still here
  13. Christ didn't come because he loved us, he came to obey the will of the Father. Of course, he does love the church. nothing is so far from the truth ; Pr 8:30 Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, Pr 8:31 rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.
  14. True. But it doesn't say not to also. Then can children not be disciples? Because the Bible doesn't say it it, does that mean they didn't? hi there are two ways to see God 's word ;first accept what he says and follow it or look at what is not said and follow it ; but the perfect approach is ,understand what is said into all the things he want us to know ,not only what we want to follow , but we have freewill of choice ;if that is what you want ,what stop you ? you conscience ? your doubts ? hm ,hm why you ask ?
  15. hi i cannot find one example in scriptures that one child as been baptized ,so if you can help me here show me where ? even if you could show me one child that followed Christ as a disciple please show the scriptures ?
  16. What will the building of another temple in Jerusalem today with sacrifices and Old Covenant worship re-established there by the Jews do to those theories you hold so dear? That is part of what our Lord Jesus pointed to in His Olivet Discourse, specifically with the "abomination of desolation" event from the Book of Daniel. The Romans did not accomplish the placing of the "abomination of desolation", because the 2nd temple burned before they could gain possession of it (per the Jewish historian Josephus). What timing will that not one stone on top of another fit when another temple is built in Jerusalem for the end? Those are the things Preterist doctrine is causing you to miss from our Lord's Olivet Discourse upon the Mount of Olives. hi salty you got me wrong i do not believe in all those things you mention ,i never heard those things and are not interested in them ,but what i told you is the truth , so we going to leave it at this ;
  17. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Cor. 5:21 Christ might not have primarily come to become our Righteousness, but it is all part of God's plan. hi GE 6:9 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. 1KI 8:32 then hear in heaven and act and judge Your servants, condemning the wicked by bringing his way on his own head and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness. PS 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. PS 1:6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish. PS 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles. PS 37:16 Better is the little of the righteous Than the abundance of many wicked. PR 10:32 The lips of the righteous bring forth what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverted. PR 11:8 The righteous is delivered from trouble, But the wicked takes his place. MT 1:19 And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned MT 13:17 “For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. I believe that those scriptures are enough to support my claim ,if not there are 100 more ,
  18. Perhaps you should not jump to conclusions. MY comment, "OSAS", proves that I trust in GOD and His Son. And there are many, many others, some who do not adhere to OSAS, who would definately disagree with your assessment. You own this forum an apology, sir. hi friend it seem that i really do not know what you are talking about ? for i did not see your comment in this topic ,if you did show me ? please I also do not understand what "OSAS" means , sorry to be so unaware of so many things of the world , love in Christ OSAS means "Once Saved, Always Saved." It means that a truely saved person cannot loose their salvation no matter what they do, even when they want to. hi thanks for your explanation ,never heard that before ;but that view is not written in scripture for even Paul only sees his claim when he felt the of his life came clear to him , one more thing if this would be true they would not going trough tribulation to test their faith no one his free just has the son of God went through his tribulation we all will go through ours ;this is my understanding ;but not all have the same tribulation
  19. Interesting how you think that it is only I who is reading into scripture from a personal belief perspective and not taking a look at how you are are approaching this. I can guarantee you that I have no personal denominational doctrine I follow nor any specific "preconceived" ideas I need to back up. I take scripture for what it says and allow Him to change me where I need to be changed. I suggest you take a good long at how you are approaching scripture and not accuse others whom you do not even know. Yes, that is a personal attack due to the fact that this thread is not how one studies scripture, but Great Tribulation ... you are not talking about what scripture means, but me personally and how you "think" I study. hi i am sorry that you feel that way for i did not try or look in any way to minimise your view or understanding but i am not well educated and so my language could be slapy ,rude ,but it is not my intention at all ,English is not my mother tongue,i learn it as i go few years back , also i can never judge anyone on the internet unless i really have met them on the street ,so the only contact that i have and them with me is a written one and that is what i go by , now if you feel that i am not worthy to be on this site i am willingly leave it as i never was on it , again sorry for our misunderstanding ,i do believe that scripture truth must go before our own feeling or thoughts ,they could not interfere with the word of truth , so let me know what you feel i should do on this ?
  20. I disagree. Reason is because our Heavenly Father and His Son gave warning to His servants living at the very end of this present world with very specific event times and seasons to be watching that lead up to His second coming. For one who seeks to heed His commandments, His command to be watching at the end and not be deceived is one of them. The fact that His Apostles also repeat the same warnings about the times means The LORD emphasized that even more through them. Thus there is a test upon those in Christ for the very end of this world, to see if His will actually heed what He declared about events for the end of this world leading up to His return, or listen to men, or devise their own doctrine. hi Rev 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place Rev 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes Rev 7:13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” Rev 7:14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev 7:15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; Rev 14:4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. Rev 14:5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless. Rev 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. 1Co 15:20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1Co 15:21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 1Co 15:23 But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 1Co 15:24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 1Co 15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. Mt 20:17 Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, Mt 20:18 “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death Mt 20:19 and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!” Mt 20:20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him. Mt 20:21 “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.” Mt 20:22 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” they answered. Mt 20:23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.” Mt 20:24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. Mt 20:25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Mt 20:26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, Mt 20:27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— Mt 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” what cup was it that Jesus said his disciples would be able to drink ? was it not being faithful until dead ?
  21. IF YOU WANT TO BE A RIGHTEOUS PERSON ;in the eyes of God then have a look at all the people that were love by God for their righteousness it will surely help you ,to understand what it really means to be righteous in the eyes of God , to my understanding Christ did not die for us to become righteous but free of the curse of dead that is laying on top of our heads sins Adam sin , righteousness is the opposite of wickedness and both can be achieved by all of us if we so chose ,
  22. Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” of cause now we have to understand what Jesus meant when he says the word "BELIEVE "
  23. hi I do not believe that what scriptures calls to be "OF" God is actually God himself right ?
