  1. "Racism", as people erroneously coin "ethnicity" today, has never really existed. Shocked? Oh the term "racism" exists, but it's a work of fiction. The Bible clearly teaches there is but one "race" upon this earth: the human race. Therefore even the most basic understanding of "rasicm" is erroneous, in that it teaches us all that there are MANY different races on the earth. It's just a bald-faced lie from the enEmy that has been successfully shoved down almost all our throats, no matter our ethnicity. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton work tirelessly for the enEmy as they hijack Dr. King's identity to promote hatred among their congregations. White supremacists want so desperately to be better than someone else out there, anyone else out there, that the color of their skin is sometimes the only reason they can come up with to somehow prove their superiority. ~~ Lies. All lies from the enEmy. We accept those lies as truth... we join in with others and that feeling of strength we get in numbers convinces us that we MUST be right in our convictions. Using this imagination called "rascism" has been one of the most effective tools of a very smart enEmy, against us very... well, you choose your own adjective here, people. The Bible speaks of different "ethnic groups", not "races" of people. For the most part, there were two major ethnic groups: Jews and Gentiles. Jews are the Jewish people. Gentiles is everyone else that isn't a Jew. Jews were given special recognition because God chose them as His people... God married Israel. Identification nothing to do with skin color or "race" in either case. I was raised to be ethnically biased. But my own nature and the Spirit of God straightened me out in short order. How could anyone, regardless of your skin color, think that only people of the same color can be your true friend and Comrade? That's preposterous. And why do we believe these lies so easily? Why do we place so much trust in people sent dressed as lambs when they are clearly wolves looking for spoil? Just because tHEy flatter you? Give you a "reason" to feel better about ourselves by hating others? Forget this LDS, SLD, DLS... whatever that quack stuff is that doesn't even recognize the imagination. Lies can only build on lies. Foundational lies should be dropped immediately. We've got alot of work to do as people, Christian or not. Beware the enEmy. hE's anything but stupid.
  2. Hello Ms. Beck. There is but one way to grow, and that instruction was given you by George above. It is a life-long endeavor. We, as men and women of finite capabilities, seek and strive to understand our God who is absolutely eternal (without end). EVERY thing about God is forever expanding. We will NEVER know it all... but we can pay attention and seek wisdom for that which God deems to be our lives. Seems like this is a much higher than usual place to be when it comes to brothers and sisters with knowledge to offer up...thus paving the way for you to find wisdom (God's given ability to properly apply knowledge to life in the proper way, at the proper time). Also, finding a fellowship local to you is important. We need to "get out of the house" and go to a gifted church/ There's alot of people here for you... Please feel free top take advantage of it. Your brother, Matt...
  3. We'll see... how everyone "complies" or doesn't comply. That time is near.
  4. If I'm not mistaken, that is "Word of Faith" doctrine, which is something other than the Truth. Scripture has been twisted, thus distorted. God created "man". Had it been the way of the Word of Faith followers, God would have created God.
  5. Ms. Pamela, I too prefer the NASB. It IS the most "literally accurate" of the English translations and versions, even if the English language is a Volkswagon compared to the Rolls Royce of Hebrew. (wink) The were many Old Testament Saints that needed to hear the message of Jesus because His sacrifice had not been made available for them. however, they were waiting on Him (gathered unto their fathers) because their faith had been accounted them as righteousness...
  6. Yes And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. Genesis 1:11-13 Yes Life And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. Genesis 1:21-23 Is Designed And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24-25 Into The Very Fabric Of Our LORD's Creation So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27-28 From The Very And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 Beginning ~ It's Even "Scientific" For Any For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Romans 1:20 (ESV) Who Will Still Look And Record God's Creation “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:7-10 (NIV) Surrounding Them Heaven makes heard the glory of God and the firmament shows the work of his hands. Day unto day pours forth speech; night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor words whose voice will not be heard. Their Gospel* went forth into all the Earth, and their words into the end of the world; in them he pitched his tabernacle for the sun. Psalms 19:1-4 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English) ~ Believe There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:9-13 (NASB) And Be Blessed Beloved Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. John 5:25 (NIV) Love, Joe Ummmm... Period. lol.
  7. The question is whether or not we would be willing to GO TO JAIL for what we believe in Christ. That's an easy one. Yes. I care less and less what people around me think for my views on religion and relationship, especially now that being a Christian is no longer "cool". However when you speak of being faced with certain death if one would not renounce their belief in Christ: I can't answer that. I would hope that I wouldn't deny Jesus. But I won't pretend to know what I'd do. So many times out of even anger I have tried to MAKE myself do things wrongly and/or unholy, only to find out that I could not let myself be so mean and cruel to others. It may well be the same if ever I was threatened with my own life. I might not be "able" to let myself cower to the enEmy. However, the enEmy is assuredly knowledgeable and knows what means more to a man than his own life. What if your own immediate family was forced to their knees with guns to their heads, all of them, and you're told to renounce your God or see their brains all over the street? I'm not going to pretend I have the answers to that personally. The only way I'd ever know is to live it...and I just pray to God I never will, nor any of my family.
  8. I just have to sooooo completely agree with what is said here. I have 8 years of reasons that have taught me that "face to face" is to be the way people are to know one another. If I told you what I know about this internet? You wouldn't believe me. Yes. Being "shy" can hinder a person's ability to fellowship. And believe it or not, all of this "online activity" serves to "train" us to BE socially inept. Online, we can communicate with others in total stealth. No one really knows who we are. There is little accountability and zero proof of anything. I could go on for days about why a person should not rely on the internet so personally. Just ONE of the major results of being online too much is that we get to where we are totally uncomfortable in any situation where people know who we are, or physically react to what's said. It is the INTERNET that fosters much of this in our society today. A good place to start? Just go to church. That will force you out of the house and into the presence of other people. Keep doing that until the ice cracks around your digital training and brainwashing. People are still out there. It's something you'll have to consciously decide to do and it will have to be a forced discipline at first, maybe. But the more you fellowship, the easier it gets. Step number one? Just don't get overwhelmed in it all. Just go to church somewhere that you enjoy and that teaches Gospel Truth. If you are uncertain about what a church teaches? Go until you know, then decide to stay or move on to another. ??? You aren't alone, Ms. Katrina. That's the enEmy's deception. See through it. Adapt...and overcome. Seek God's enablement.
  9. Your first priority is to study the Scriptures so that you know your position in Christ. Too many Christians have no idea how richly God has blessed them in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus they go into self-pity, depression, etc. Hello again, Ms. Katrina. I just replied to another thread of yours concerning other "problems" that you are facing as a fairly new Christian. I'm also the one that sent you the pm on the writ for your examination? I agree with Ezra here... and it sounds kind of like my other post. Doesn't it? With "knowing your position in Christ"... virtually the same thing as accurately learning of "who" and "what" you are in Christ? Again, it's all about your "spiritual foundation"... Isn't it? I hope the pm I sent you benefits you. It certainly has me. I'll be anxious to hear from you. Chin up, Mam... It's gonna get better...
  10. Hello Ms. Katrina. It's nice to meet you. I have carefully went through your entire post. I am happy to tell you that there truly isn't any rocket science to your predicament. As a matter of fact, this which causes your "problems", is something that virtually every new-born Christian struggles to learn. First the knowledge must be gathered, and then seeking the wisdom so you can properly "apply" it to your life. The good news is, every single thing that you've mentioned as "problems" stem from one thing, and one thing only: You have not yet realized exactly "who you are" in the eyes of God. We may think one thing. Others have their opinions for sure, but the Truth is that it's IMPOSSIBLE for you to even know who and what you "really" are right here, right now, at this very moment, WITHOUT knowing who and what God SAYS you are. I think, just like every single one of us, when you learn the Truth of it, it will become a part of you in such a consuming way, that it's going to continually change you inside and out, enable things within you that you've never been aware of before within you, and you are going to experience a LIFETIME of wonder and marvel at the way God does things around and inside of you. When you learn your TRUE IDENTITY in Christ? Wow.... You'll just have to experience this for yourself, as it will by far be the most intimate and unique thing you'll ever encounter on this earth. As with all of us, your entire life will be spent learning more and more "about" God, but also try to always "KNOW GOD" in more intimate ways. There are worlds of difference between knowing "about" God and "knowing" God. When you hear people say, "It's all about God", what they should be trying to convey is that God IS your everything, whether we ever fully realize this or not. And it's a worthy goal to persue God. However, when we are tempted to think we've learned it all or most of it concerning Him? We should never forget that all things God are "eternal"...and what I mean by that is, thewre is no end to Him...in anything. Whatever it is we need to realize or learn, such as all the "problems" you have listed, God will "teach" you everything you need to know concerning those things... All you'll have to do is persue God... Don't persue the answer to your problem. Persue God and He will give you the knowledge and wisdom you need in this life! So what you need right now most of all? You need to know who God says you are. What does this have to do with your "problems"? Well, right now you're trying to build a wall of knowledge and gain wisdom in life without most of the foundation in place. You'll get a little ways, then all of a sudden it will collapse or fall, you'll have to begin again, it'll fall again, and if you don't get your foundation correct, sooner or later you're gonna say, "What's the use?" I can't tell you all this without offering you things to ponder... pointing you toward knowledge. Learning knowledge is easy. I can help you with that. Wisdom is different than knowledge. Wisdom is the God-given ability to properly APPLY God's Truth to your life, the proper way, at the proper time. No other single thing will EVER be so important to you than getting your foundation straight. I'm an old man. I've had alot of conversations in my time. I've had plenty of time to gather what little knowledge I have about certain subjects... one of them being about our true identity in Christ. I gathered the facts and organized them into a writ. But "I" am not here to TEACH you anything in this. That's God's job. But I would like to simply point you toward the Word that's specific to this foundation, and suggest questions and meditations to you. Pay little attention to what "I" have to say, but pay particular attention to every word of scripture... There is never a waste of one word. Every word in the Bible has purpose. Then I'll ask you to ask yourself certain questions while you examine the scriptures. The result will be between you and God. You just be as honest as you know to be with yourself, and with God, and what you will come to know is going to change your entire life, inside and out. There's just no way I can adequately describe a change that goes on for a lifetime once we rightly understand our spiritual foundation. I am aware that there are rules here that prevent unauthorized teaching, and I can well understand that. Though I don't view this as "me" teaching you anything Ms. Katrina, it could be interpretted as such. What I honestly propose is just suggestions in focus and an aid in the questions you ask yourself. I make conclusions, yes. But I also ALWAYS ask you to make your own determinations, as believe it or not, God's Word isn't rocket science. It is so simple to understand once the foundation is laid... It's so easy to comprehend. God wants you to understand your foundation. So I'll pm you a link to this writ I speak of, if that's permissable. I just suggest you go through it without being in a hurry and carefully consider every point of reference. I'll be anxious to see what this does for you... God bless you in your every quest to know God better, Ms. Katrina... all your remaining days on this earth...
  11. 1 John 4:19-21 "19 We love, because He first loved us. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also." Dear Ayin, As for me, EVERY single thing I'll ever do to live the Christian life (please the Lord) will be only because I love and respect Him. And even that was only made possible by HIM loving ME first... Otherwise, there would be no such thing as "love" to know. I could quote you a dozen scriptures, or a thousand even, where God tells us that when we "obey" Him, how it "pleases" Him. It's all about the heart (love), not the performance treadmills that many "religions" would try to put you on today. I try to live the Christian life as directed by God because I love Him and simply desire to please Him...and maybe I have a bit of a desire to be a blessing on this earth instead of a curse... and God can also do that for me. I will never try to live the Christian life because I want to "earn" something from God. A lifetime on my knees would not earn me one blessing from God...yet He continually showers me every day with innumerable blessing (intervention).
  12. My advise would be to seek medical attention...but NOT just ANY doctor. I have found that doctors with a sincere "relationship" with God are much more beneficial than the "pill pushing experimentists" out there today. It's been my experience that most of the time, there is a very physical reason for things such as this. I would start with a good, Christian doctor and go from there. I know it's easier said than done, especially with the recent government take-over of our health care system. Never-the-less... It's probably best not to give the deVil too much due until hE's earned it.
