  1. I did and I graduated. I was voted 'most likely to be a know-it-all' Lol...love your sense of humor! We need more like you!
  2. Hope you're having an awesome time!!!
  3. Oh boy, do I have a junk drawer! Everything from expired coupons to a Barbie doll leg (and my 10 year old has no idea how that got in there.) I think it's time to dump it all! (But wait, suppose there's something in there that I need!!?!?) ...and the saga of the junk drawer continues...
  4. ...and kids think they have it hard today!
  5. Being a mom of four and currently at home, I certainly understand the work that goes into it. In my opinion, taking care of your children and household is one of the hardest jobs there is. (and most rewarding). Obviously, the individuals that ask you that, do not have children. And besides, like you said.... Whose business is it anyway??!!?? Blessings to you, LadyKay.
  6. That's some awesome technology!

So many lives will now forever be changed, and for what. ...a love triangle and impulsiveness. Human emotions can be wonderful or deadly. So sad.
  8. Amen! Blessings to you, LadyofWisdom.
  9. I think you are probably being too hard on yourself. I would be willing to bet that there are many people that call you a friend. Just continue to be yourself...don't try so hard to find friends. True friends will find you, and love "you" for who you are. Many Blessings to you.
  10. Sure sounds like an adventure, and yes, an exciting one at that!! I think everybody should have some getaway time like that. It takes some of the stress out of life...except for the bear, of course.
  11. Bopeep, Evidently you need to dig a little deeper into Christian worship. That is not putting God in a box but being obedient to God according to His Word. Unfortunately Christians are generally not taught properly about worship as revealed in Scripture, and the meaning of gathering or assembling together. Had the KJV used the word "assembly" instead of "church" for ekklesia, that concept would have been more evident (as in Hebrews 10:25): Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. How can we exhort one another, if we are absent from the gathering of the saints? You can not put God in a box.God is anywhere you want to worship. Salvation is found in Christ. No amount of Church attendance will earn eternity in heaven. It should be a person choice if someone wants to attend a Worship service in a Church.Churches certainly are not what they used to be.I am sure there are a handful of Churches left that preach from the Bible.I have been very disappointed in several Churches I have attended. It is more the world than in the House of God. So are you advocating disobedience to the command in God's word? I am saying that attending Church is not a salvation issue. You will not go to hell if you do not attend. There are many who go to Church who are not a Christian. You can also pick up some false doctrine by attending many of the Churches in our world today. Many can not attend a Church. That is ok as long as they are studying the literal true word of God daily. Then is obedience not a salvation issue? We must also be aware of using a veneer of obedience to mask a sinful heart. Amen! Amen and Amen!!
  12. And you, Steven, need to go to your room! ....yes, and stand in the corner!
  13. This world is full of people that strive to hate. It's really very sad.
  14. Thank you Willie for such a beautiful and inspiring post. Through your words, I feel as if I am actually in Colorado enjoying the beauty that our Lord has provided for us. I agree with you, we must strive to be blessings to others. We love, because He first loved us. We bless because He first blessed us. We give because He first gave for us. Think about it in terms of our human heart. Our wonderful human heart! It pumps blood in through one valve, then out through another. It doesn't store up blood to keep for itself. It is constantly circulating it throughout the body. It gets blood...then it gives blood. In other words, it receives...then gives...receives...then gives...receives...then gives and so on. This should be the same with Christians. We first receive from God and then we give...just like the human heart. May God bless you in all that you do, Willie.

  19. This is truly a sad day for many, here in my neighborhood of Moneta, Va. We are a small close-knit community and, as you always hear, you never expect anything like this to happen in your own "backyard". This senseless tragedy teaches us that life is short and to take NOTHING for granted. Please keep the families and friends of Alison, Adam, and Vicki in your prayers as well as the perpetrator's family. I would also like to ask you to keep our community in your prayers. It is a tragedy, but with God's help we will endure.
