They are not protestors when they resort to vandalism and violence. Back during the blm riots/protests, I was in my car a mile away. Suddenly my car was surrounded by them as I was trying to get to my parents place after mom had fallen and was injured. They shut down the road. Our constitution allows for peaceful protests but not for riots or vandalism or violence.

Ai claiming God isnt real should bother Christians. I didnt respond to your post last night... laziness on my part... but as someone in the medical field, I wouldnt trust ai to diagnose anyone. Diagnosing is inuitive. Can ai be intuitive?
-
They absolutely cannot arrive at those truths. Without spiritual discernment, which ai is incapable of, they cannot discern the reality of God.
-
I know how bad the news can be with the truth lies and spin, but I also read multiple sources when I read the news and am watchful about their biases and at times outright lies. I dont think it is good to completely ignore the news.
-
I read today that ai has issues with time and calendars.
-
Saw this in the news today.... How many folks will fall for this with ai posting false answers like this?

Years ago, I posted a study on typology. It might be worth posting a link to it here.

Sadly he is very much liberal social justice, more so than the previous pope. Social justice focused Christian leaders tend to be less gospel focused and more worldly activism focused. I am not thinking too much of the new pope. But since I am not catholic, it does not affect me.

Isaiah 40 6 The voice said, Cry! And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the beauty of it is as the flower of the field. 7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because the Spirit of the LORD blows on it; surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the Word of our God shall stand forever. Repeated in 1 Peter 1 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of men as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls out, 25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word preached as gospel to you.

Psalms 1 1 Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is only in the law of the LORD; and in His law he meditates day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed. 4 ¶ The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

I live in a high mormon population state, where they stock up barrels of food for 7 years. No thanks. If we know of potential problem, we may stock for a day or two. We didnt bother to stock for y2k. Probably wise in a tornado prone area to have a shelter but I dont think it is necessary to have a shelter otherwise.
-
No tornadoes here, but I have been in extreme heat, hurricanes, blizzards, haboobs, thick fog, monsoon, and microbursts. Thats enough for me. I see nothing scripturally wrong with seeking shelter or whatever is needed in weather.

You can tell a lot about a person by the books they read.
ayin jade replied to unworthyservant's topic in U.S. Politics
I spend a lot of time reading. I typically read a book in 4 hours, and I tend to sleep less than my husband, so I have a lot of free time too with a limited budget. I have library cards at (counts) 5 libraries, with reciprocal access to several others. In addition, there is open library where you can read books for free that were uploaded to their site. I am pretty sure that is available in the uk. -

I loved reading the house of earth trilogy by pearl buck (the good earth is book 1). She is my second favorite author. Rudyard kipling is my favorite. Especially plain tales from the hills. My husband reads nordic noir mysteries. It does not make him a serial killer or any kind of killer (except spiders). I read the quran. It did not mean then or now that I was muslim. I got saved as a Christian before I read it. -

He was in poor health and had been told by his doctors to take it easy and not overdue anything. He chose instead to meet with prominent people and hold easter services. It is no wonder really why he died.

Not really. He was told to rest by doctors because of his health. Instead he pushed himself to meet prominent people and hold easter services Its no wonder he died

Dating a non Christian :) Dilemma
ayin jade replied to irishbeast's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
My advice... No "missionary" dating where you hope she will get saved. It is dishonest if she expects marriage and you cant marry an unbeliever. Just be honest and tell her what the bible says and what you believe. Invite her to church. If it is His will, she will get saved. If she doesnt become a Christian, believing in Him because she truly believes not because she wants to do it for you, then you really do not have a choice but to cut things off. -
Dating a non Christian :) Dilemma
ayin jade replied to irishbeast's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
This is something I know well from personal experience @irishbeast I was not a believer when a Christian man asked me out to bible study on a date. During those couple of hours, he figured out that although I believed in God (a sort of generic god), I did not believe in Jesus and was not saved. He told me what the bible said about being unequally yoked and promptly dumped me. Ug I got saved that night. Not because I wanted to see him again (he was about to see about being a missionary with wycliff), but because I humbly approached the Lord and asked Him if He wanted me to believe in Jesus. After that whirlwind change in me, it was clear I was now saved. I worked with that guy in a hospital so I saw him again. A couple of months later, after speaking to church members about me, he decided that as a believer, I was "safe" to date. He is now eating an apple, in my home, married for (gotta do math) 35 yrs this july. -
Im going to ask @The_Patriot21 to help you He knows computers.

Neanderthals, and denisovans for that matter, are not that different than us. They have physical differences but so do humans of today. (Look at the masaai and bushmen as examples of how different humans can be). I dont believe that they are seperate species any more than the vast differences among people today make them different species. Neanderthal and denisovan dna is present in modern people. I have neanderthal traits, and my husband has denisovan traits.
