Obeying and following Jesus boils down to whether we are looking at this short little life.......or seeking the world to come, eternity. He said if we love our lives in this world we will lose it, but if we hate our lives in this world, we will save it. Plant your corn of wheat in the ground to die.....so that it produces a crop, ie, fruitfulness. Or eat our corn of wheat and enjoy it now.....but no crop. That is the choice facing each one.

I know, it is very troubling, literal carnage.........sister, you are not alone.......with Jesus there with you. Some years ago I had a dream warning of this delusion.....I hope it encourages you. I was in a building of some kind looking down a long hallway with many rooms on either side, like you would see in an apartment or hotel. I saw poisonous gas seeping in the hallway.....and saw my daughter down the hallway but out of reach to grab her....I just had time to call a warning to her and duck into the nearest room. When I got in the room I shut the door and sealed it off with white bedsheets that I had soaked with water. Scripture that came to mind was "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the door until my wrath passes by" (from NIV). This interfaith false unity delusion is judgment........the white bedsheets soaked in water......speaks of intimacy with the Lord, His righteousness, and His word. So while many of His flock is scattered and alone.......if we stay close to Him, we are not really alone, but He IS with us, watching over and protecting us from this judgment which is coming upon only those who have not received a love of the truth. Jesus went to prepare a place for us.....in His Father's house are many rooms. These are the days we are living in now, the last days............my hope for a silver lining in all this, is that with so many unnatural branches being broken off.....that it is making room for more of the natural branches. Bless you, and be encouraged, the Lord has foreseen all these things, and He will be faithful to His flock who are faithful to Him. And I just want to add in case it isn't clear......it is time to shut ourselves in with the Lord and leave the erring church and world behind, so to speak.

Amen brother........interfaith absolutely is a false gospel......that's exactly what it is.......and it is really THE false gospel and strong delusion of the end time that leads to antichrist.......very deceptive in its lies and so seductive in its spirit.

Ah, I am sorry for what your friend is going through, this life is not easy........it is full of trouble as Jesus said it would be. Where He says those who fall on the Rock (Jesus) will be broken........so we are not to be surprised at the painful trial as Peter wrote. The Lord chastises who He LOVES as sons in order that we may partake of His holiness......and who is without chastisement are not His own. Whatever we go through in life, we make it our goal to keep following/obeying Jesus and seek to be conformed to His image.......like lumps of clay on the Potter's wheel. Marriage can be the cross that He lays on our shoulders to carry for Him, for the purpose of crucifying and putting to death our carnal selfish nature........where He says "if you would be my disciple, take up your cross, deny yourself and follow me." One thing is that we are learning to forgive and love our enemies.......even if they dont' change, God has in mind that we are to change to become like Jesus. That is the purpose of breaking us when we fall on the Rock......a Rock doesn't change, but we break and get molded to the shape of the Rock. I understand the shock and disappointment to find oneself in a life they didn't intend to sign up for.........through it all we can learn to trust God knowing He is on the throne and has foreseen all this and gone before us to show the way to victory. And victory is not in changing our circumstances or spouse.......victory is in how we change and learn to rise above the circumstances with the Help and strength of the Lord. Fornication is sin........and the bible tells us what fornication is........bedding down with someone outside of marriage. Only the marriage bed is undefiled. If God does not recognize divorce except in cases of infidelity........then marriage after divorce without that cause, is sin. A spouse may separate if needs be.......but must still consider themselves to be married and not available for re-marrying......and have a view to seeking reconciliation (assuming one's life is not in danger). So it is really more than just a matter of taboo.......it is a matter of not sinning against the Lord and against one's own body. I pray your friend will re-group in this time of separation, and seek and find the answers and strength she needs in Christ and in His word.

I do not have a very good head for details like this.......but what I have been able to follow........is bringing the bible alive......I can almost hear the noise in the streets, the clatter of carts, the voices of the people talking and calling out to one another, the sound of a stonemason's hammer, donkeys braying, and how in the smaller towns and cities of that day, many knew each other or were relatives...it's just making it so real. Oh to have been there with Jesus walking by and talking with his followers.......and to think that we will one day, forever! Thank you sister for sharing.

Amazing Horse........well, how amazing is the Lord.......how you are talking about the three points found in one part of scripture about Abraham in Genesis.......end of Gen. 14 and running into the beginning of Gen. 15.......riches........reward.......and stars. Amen Vickilynn, and praise the Lord for what He has done in your life......and I pray that some will hear your witness to the truth. Because if they keep some of the law they are obligated to keep it all.....which means they are not under the new covenant any more.......which is heart breaking. And they are in grave danger of being further led astray by the devil to accept the interfaith ecumenical delusion, I'm sorry to say. You stay strong in Messiah, dear sister, don't be unequally yoked with those who are not in faith, but as the Lord leads just keep shining the light of His truth. Don't be surprised if at some point He leads you to brush the dust off your feet and move on though. And I'm just reminded.......Paul was accepted and recommended by Peter......so if Peter accepted him, then who are we or anybody to do otherwise.....unless they want to tear Peter out of the bible too, and not to mention the whole book of Acts (likely written by Luke) which testifies a lot about Paul as well. 2Peter 3:15-16 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

That is shocking, words fail me sister, it is grieving.........the fruit of this movement is just not good..........it is idolatry, and looks like it has only gotten worse over the years. As we have been talking about......Paul had lots to say about Judaizing. It is good that you are there, if you have the opportunity to share some truth about these things. I wonder what the leadership at your congregation thinks or says about those converting to Judaism....do they talk about it? Flesh profits nothing........rudiments of the world.....and I fear it is also leading to the Temple in Jerusalem where antichrist will sit. I was caught up in Hebrew roots at one time, I condemn no one but love compels us to speak the truth......thankfully the Lord was faithful to open my eyes. I still love the Jews......all I long for is their salvation......because without the gospel they will sadly perish after this short life is over like anyone.....and only the true undiluted, unmixed gospel saves.

Yes, it unfortunately did lead to the interfaith deception, almost immediately..........being unequally yoked with unbelievers......began with being unequally yoked with unbelieving Jews. All part of the same end time delusion. We distorted the truth.......we made it humanistic instead of sticking to the plumbline of the gospel of Yeshua.......which says to come out and be separate from the unbelieving world, not to be yoked with them....and that means Jewish and Gentile unbelievers. We can't be the city on a hill that unbelievers need to come to.....if we are mixing the holy and profane.

It makes me anguish inside thinking of all the Jews that have come to faith in Christ........only to be swept up in the falling away from sound doctrine. Paul could have wished himself accursed for the sake of his brethren the Jews.......trying to do away with him is the devil's work. The flesh is so blind.......help us Lord.

Oh, a big huge AMEN! to that, brother......"the Abrahamic covenant is the gospel".........and can only be received by faith, ie, in spirit........it transcends cultures. Now we know Yeshua/Jesus after the flesh no longer, as well......but in spirit. Abraham was looking for a city whose foundations are in God, ie, His Spirit, not in dust of the earth.........his thoughts were above, his affections were above. Law was added later because of transgressions........because they weren't entering by faith so the Lord gave them a tutor.........and yet all in His foreknowledge, and He planned accordingly, that Israel would become the ensample to the mystery of God hid from the foundation of the world, the gospel, His Body the church, foreshadowing it.......remembering that the church, the Body of Messiah, the gospel, is equally for Jews and Gentiles, for whosoever will. I have heard it said that the Gentiles hijacked the gospel from the Jews.......but that shows how the wall of enmity has been put back up, whereas in Messiah that partition is supposed to have been taken down. Dividing the land for gain......is ensample of dividing the Body of Messiah for gain......and that is what has been happening......sadly! Whereas we should know what Paul wrote in Romans....how it is the Lord who concluded them in unbelief that He might have mercy on them all........through the gospel coming to them from the Gentiles........oh the depths of the riches of the wisdom of God, for who has been His counsellors! He is the one who planned it this way. No wonder the devil wants to get rid of Paul any way he can, and I share our sister's very serious concern in the OP. I have a deep longing for Israel to know the Lord Christ, the Messiah and be saved. I don't like travelling but had to fly somewhere recently,and as we landed at the airport coming back I happened to see an Israeli airplane on the tarmack......my heart swelled with gladness and hope.......because Israel being re-established as a nation again is the first step to God fulfilling His promise to bring her into the gospel. Imagine tearing Paul out of the bible........what would happen then to those wonderful things he spoke of about Israel and the Jews? that blindness has happened to them in part only until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in....etc. God has left instruction in the Torah and prophets.....to EXPECT their messiah to be in Gentile garb, to EXPECT the gospel to come to them from the Gentiles...eg, Joseph....Ruth....Cyrus.....our wise God! Or are WE trying to be HIS counsellors and change His ways.....as if we know better than Him?

It is so terribly sad how Hebrew roots has led to so much error....instead of just awakening the church to renewed efforts to get the gospel to the Jews. We should never have gotten away from the simple way.....the Jews and Israel need the exact same gospel that saves us all, not altered one iota...and not tearing any pages out of the bible. Some even think that Jews are saved under the Abrahamic covenant and don't need the atonement of Yeshua/Jesus. What has also unfortunately happened with all this is that the wall of partition that was done away with has been re-erected.......whereas the bible says now we know no man after the flesh any longer......and that we are to glory not in the flesh. God's way is the best way.......so we should not tamper with it.....and actually His way is the ONLY way.

Every biblical analogy about Jesus is valid.....He is the Passover Lamb.....and it is ALSO true that His body is the Unleavened Bread and His blood is the fruit of the vine. And ALSO the beautiful analogy is true of the vineyard and He being the Vine. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins....but the reason we remember His death with only Bread and Wine is because we don't need to sacrifice a lamb and shed its blood any more, since Yeshua/Jesus was already sacrificed, once for all.......at Passover. Hence Passover very quickly gave way to the feast of Unleavened Bread, as soon as He was sacrificed once for all.......and now He ever lives to be the Bread of Life that when we eat of Him, we live.

Amen Davida.......I am talking about the world..........from wordly religious leaders to politicians of every stripe, and news media......dont' believe anything they say......they are all pushing their own agendas, just some think they are doing it in the name of God.......and Jesus did not set an example of His flock getting involved in civil affairs and politics........He literally FLED them when they tried to crown him king.....talk about resisting the devil! And the world's media is even presuming to be a pulpit now for man's self righteous philosophies......as if mankind has any righteousness of his own. Just wipe the dust of this world off our feet and run! ......have nothing to do with it........the world has ought to do with us......we are to be ambassadors of another kingdom......which is not of this world and comes not with our careful observation because it is an UNSEEN kingdom.

It's horrendous brother, i dont' know when we've seen the like. The Lord is reminding me today is to not stand and watch Sodom burning, but flee it altogether and head for the mountains (of God), and He doesn't mean in the physical sense. The prophesy about Jerusalem is saying the same thing......when you see it surrounded by armies, flee to the mountains (of God). If these are but the beginning of birth pangs it is only going to get worse and the only place of peace and safety is in the Lord, in HIS kingdom where all is at rest and there is no turmoil. And actually that is the purpose of the birth pangs, to squeeze us into His kingdom, as it were.

Peace talks can also be code for "stall for time".......or "make it look good while we get something else ready". Who knows what's really being planned.........can't believe a single word that comes out of anybody's mouth nowadays ........these are days of truth being thrown to the ground like no other.....just as prophesied. Everyone but everyone on all sides have their own agenda and propaganda. There is none righteous, no not one. It is kingdom against kingdom........Satan's kingdom divided against itself and the battle is heating up........good and evil fighting it out, and all sides having some of both (mixture/Babylon....yes it started in the Garden).....whereas we are like Abraham looking for a kingdom that is not of this world at all, looking up. Keep our eyes above and the LORD will lead us safely through all the mess and to our true home. He is the only one who can. And He is the one running the world, we can't...He is the one who sets up or lowers kings and kingdoms, ultimately for His own purposes. I'm trying to leave the world on His capable shoulders, and just focus on HIS kingdom because life is so short and night cometh so quickly for every person alive regardless of whether circumstances are good or bad.

Amen brother, point well taken......it's probably a process of a downward spiral and then we know that self is always going to want to justify itself at some point by lying to itself. Doesn't it seem that even churches or revivals that start out well......all seem to get mired in flesh eventually. Seems like from the beginning there has always only been a remnant of the true to be found anywhere.....and that is why the call to come out of her is a call that really is always going forth. We always need to be checking that we are true to plumb......by coming directly to the plumbline ourselves and measuring against it, and not receiving any second-hand slanted version of it........like the longer the telephone game goes on the more distorted the message gets by the end.........so we need to always go directly to the originator of the message. Seems like the Lord is always pruning in His vineyard, constantly.........so we need always to be vigilant.

Apologize, I am unable to read all the posts, hope I'm not repeating too much of what others may have said. Southern Asia is getting flooded by monsoons as we speak and many more people displaced and killed than so far in the south USA.........what comes to mind with all this flooding is what Jesus said.....as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man......not that the Lord will drown the entire world with a flood again, but just that I believe all the flooding is a reminder of the lateness of the hour and it is one way that these are like the days of Noah, reminding us to fear the Lord and be looking up. Regarding Israel.....I believe it's a bit too soon for Daniel's prophesy about dividing the land for gain to be fulfilled.....if I understand it aright, this will be done by antichrist and he is not revealed yet.....though the way things are going I also believe that won't be long. And just to add that Israel herself undergoes chastisement of the Lord......when nations turn against her it is because the Lord allows it........and then He in turns judges the nation(s) that touches the apple of His eye.......who can fathom His ways? The same is true of His church. But our mandate as followers of Christ changes not one iota because of external circumstances due to climate, wars, disasters or politics......church is here for one reason, and that is to hold up the light of the gospel.........all the more when everything that can be shaken is shaken. As we know, eclipse of the sun is usually a warning, not good news.....and this one was unusual especially because it will be repeated in 7 years and form an x over the USA (or is it a cross?)....so my feeling is that we are meant to stay awake and pay attention to it. It could be the Lord is going to lay a cross on our shoulders, for USA, Canada and Israel.........for USA the eclipse forming a cross....for Canada I saw a picture that someone took of the eclipse on our west coast and the sun rays peeking out in four directions formed a cross, though I have not been able to verify it yet......and someone who I hear from in Israel said he saw a little vision or picture of a shadow of a cross over Israel...beginning in Syria and spreading south over Israel, like the cross was planted in Syria and cast its shadow over Israel...........so taken all together , if these are all valid, it does begin to look like we need to be prepared for something. Maybe they are also speaking of revival........hope and pray there will be a revival of the cross during time of trouble.

Amen, AlertChristian. Luke 9:1-2 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. It's sad how many seem to think the gifts of the Spirit and miracles are no longer for today.......I think it's just because they don't see miracles personally so they try to justify why they are so powerless. We are all called to be disciples........if we will.

I thought I did........and disagreed with it........but if you think I'm misunderstanding something you said, you are free to explain. All I'm saying is that Paul came by His gifts and salvation the same way we all do......though of course not everyone is called to be an apostle (there are not many fathers).....and not everyone receives so powerful a revelation (one body many parts, some greater, some lesser, etc). But he was not one of the twelve.......who make up the 12 foundations of New Jerusalem (church/bride of Christ) named after the twelve apostles.........all of whom will have 12 thrones and judge the 12 tribes of Israel (Israel of God, I believe).....and who were foreshadowed by the 12 princes appointed by Moses. There is no mention of 13 as far as I know.......hopefully we agree that Paul was not discipled by Jesus during the days of His life on earth and was apprehended by the Lord after Pentecost.
