I have held that Flood waters are not measured by post flood mountain heights. The earth may have been reshaped or unaffected by the Great Flood. It wasn't a "natural flood" so the effects are not predictable.

Luke 7:36-50 - Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman In that passage, conservative readers will focus on one line " “Your sins are forgiven.” and they think by this one line that they are authorized to point out sinners. But they fail to notice Jesus forgives her sins without her repenting. Nor does he tell her to stop sinning. Yes, I have moved past judging people for their sins. I am on the side of Jesus, not His complainers.

The genealogies were not given by God for the intention of dating the earth. It is wrong to use them that way. End of story. Scripture states that the hills are ancient.

The Creation account refers to Adam and Eve and The Garden Paradise. Adam was removed from that place so we are not still in the Garden. Unless you can find it somewhere with an Angel guarding the entrance then that creation was not this earth.

Yes, each writer in the Bible was an individual person. As I say, any important topic in Christianity is covered by more than one writer providing multiple viewpoints. A large amount of controversial stuff doesn't pass that test.

Having attended about 10 denominations, I didn't hear much talk about other churches. Where have you noticed this?

If you are standing before God, He knows everything, so his conclusions are objective. Anyone else has a subjective view of words, deeds, everything. I knew a blind student that could "picture" math and algebra. Everything people experience is subjective.

Both. People are created perfect, but being born without God as our mentor, we do use our freedom for evil. Mold on bread is not just on the surface.

Oh no. My heresy is very hard earned. Likely it will get worse. I am very far past main stream bible study thought. As I apply the Royal Law to more and more scripture, I find more problems. Where I used to be confident that scripture was unified Truth that was perfect, I've begun to find ideas that don't belong. For example, you can't "Treat others as you would have them treat you." and then have seperate rules for men and women. And if you can't keep women in their place and out of the leadership....then your hardly a real mainstream Christian. So I'll never be going back. I'm so far gone, I dated a female minister for a couple years. That's like doubling your heresy with each kiss!

God walked beside Adam, for one. That is rare on earth. And there was a Tree of life, and one of knowledge, a talking serpent, warm temperatures I guess, no rain, and a couple other odd things. Walking beside God, is the big one.
