    We have two great commandments to follow: Love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and love our neighbors as ourselves. If you obey these two commandments, you are a Christian, I believe.

    I wouldn't make too big an issue of whether or not you are "born again." The issue is doing what the Lord told us to do. If you are doing what the Lord told us to do, what is there to worry about?

    It would seem to me the Lord would like some public recognition for what he does for us. I don't see how you do that if you don't go to church.

    If you have Windows Movie Maker in your computer, you can make a "video" (or "slide show") by attaching a picture to a sound recording. Then post it on YouTube and start a thread here with a link to it. If you want to make a real video, download the free Audacity software and record the music, while at the same time making a video with your camera of yourself performing the music. Then, using Windows Movie Maker, add in both and synchronize the two. To synchronize, you need to use the mouse to adjust the music and video so they are lined up perfectly. Then leave the audio from the sound recording on, while turning off the audio from the video you made with your camera.

    I'm not disagreeing with the scripture. I'm disagreeing with the commentary.

    Or put another way: So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ. Romans 10:17 RSV I guess Paul is telling us that we acquire faith from what we are told. But we don’t magically absorb what we are told – we must listen.
