The idea that migraines are demonic is ridiculous. I get migraines when my blood sugar gets too low. In other words, I get migraines when I don't eat enough.

My point is that I think it takes more than study to gain wisdom.

I think the vaccine is important, but "natural" immunity can vary, according to how well we take care of ourselves.

I have great respect for the King James Version - I will refer to it sometimes when I have a question about translation. The problem, of course, is that the meanings of words sometimes change over time.

I don't believe it was the Lord's wish that a husband would rule over his wife. I think he was saying that, as a consequence of Eve's sin, husbands would rule over their wives.

Yes, I wish everyone would get vaccinated. That doesn't mean I believe they should be forced to. But if they choose not to get vaccinated, I don't think I should be required to wear a mask to protect them.

You can never completely erase risk from life. Tens of thousands of people die each year in car accidents in this country (USA). Have we stopped driving?

Satan rules this world (1 John 5:19) - you have to take what you hear with a grain of salt. I don't hear the CDC say a word about our immune systems, yet I can think of no better way to safe from the virus than to get the rest we need, get enough to eat, stay comfortably warm, and stay away from tobacco.

Yes, but the chances are slim, and I believe subsequent infections are less serious. And if we take care of ourselves, our immune systems should be strong.

I would think that once you've had it, you would be relatively safe.

If one defines "evil" as "pain," as I do, then I suppose either translation works.

Yes, we have to be humble enough to take good advice. We need to be careful, also, not to take bad advice.

It seems to me that constant prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17) is the path to follow.

You said that you "spend some time with the Lord every day." Paul told us to pray contantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). I wouldn't worry about the dreams. Just keep bad thoughts out of your head during waking hours.

Sounds like a good idea.

Maybe we could ask the Lord to make it easier.
