Entropy--yup real difficult to get away from it. I am convinced it is the 'reality' that was introduced into the equation at the fall. Whether or not that is true, I speculate that in the New Heaven and New Earth---entropy will be a non-factor. I keep an eye on the sciences because studying the universe is to see my Creator there--just as Paul mentioned in Romans. I am convinced and have seen much evidence over the years, that the deeper science looks, the more it becomes obvious that God exists and His hand is observed. I believe and there is evidence that humanity is devolving--this is consistent with the principle/law of entropy. It has been observed that the rate of mutation in each generation is increasing exponentially. Note the word 'rate'. The vast majority of 'mutation' is deleterious. 'Mind' is a far more mysterious thing than most folks think it is...I very much doubt that 'Mind' can be transferred, despite the entertaining Sci-Fi stories.

IMO--when the Lord chooses to open an individual's mind to the Gospel--they will understand. That sounds simplistic, and it is. The Lord speaks to the heart in a still small or booming voice and the hearer hears. What follows after this, in the life of a believer unfortunately can be very confusing...the Lord knows this also.

Its wonderful to see it so simply stated, isn't it? Salvation is Relocation.

Whenever the Lord got to me in a dream--there was no doubt that it was the Lord. The same goes for whenever He has given me specific and detailed direction or a 'vision' while awake. The Lord is perfectly capable of getting something across to you when He wishes. I've recognized these things to fall into two categories. 1. personal instruction, edification or faith building 2. for community instruction, edification or faith building

I have always seen this episode in Jacob's life as an example for us of how our 'natural' strength needs to be dealt with by our Lord. Its difficult for conniving manipulative personalities to let go and let God...so to speak. Or to be used by God in this world. The wounding of our natural man makes way for a transforming into His likeness...Jacob walked with a limp. A type of that weakening. He was a different man, from that day on and God put the accent on this by changing his name to Israel. From Israel would come others....David...Jesus.

Hos. 2:15 “Then I will give her her avineyards from there, And bthe valley of Achor as a door of hope. And she will 1csing there as in the days of her youth, As in the dday when she came up from the land of Egypt. The valley of Achor was a place of no hope. Our Lord made a place of no hope into a door of hope....and much more. This is a picture of our rest "In Christ". What a beautiful picture it is! Praise His Name.
