ANGELS & the FLORIDA HEALING REVIVAL - Warning! -by Andrew Strom. I continue to get emails about last week's article - "A FALSE HEALING REVIVAL?" Some people strongly agree, while others are totally outraged that I would question the healings or other manifestations that are occurring. Personally I am deeply saddened that I even have to put out these warnings. I get no pleasure out of it. In fact I hate having to talk about this stuff. But what happens if something is seriously amiss and yet no warnings are given? Is it right to be silent in such a case? What about the precious sheep? Shouldn't they be warned? What a lot of people may not realize is that the leader of the revival Todd Bentley has a long history in the "Laughing/ Drunkenness" movement - but also is a leading proponent of strange "Angel" encounters (and I do mean 'strange'). Todd has openly promoted these encounters for years - in fact he is well-known for leading others into contact with these 'angels' too. This has been a big part of his ministry for a very long time. And it is really no different now. Here are a couple of extracts from Todd's 2003 article 'Angelic Hosts': "So when I need a financial breakthrough I don't just pray and ask God for my financial breakthrough. I go into intercession and become a partner with the angels by petitioning the Father for the angels that are assigned to getting me money: "Father, give me the angels in heaven right now that are assigned to get me money and wealth. And let those angels be released on my behalf. Let them go into the four corners of the earth and gather me money." Todd continues... "EMMA, ANGEL Of The PROPHETIC Now let me talk about an angelic experience with Emma. Twice Bob Jones asked me about this angel that was in Kansas City in 1980: "Todd, have you ever seen the angel by the name of Emma?" He asked me as if he expected that this angel was appearing to me. Surprised, I said, "Bob, who is Emma?" He told me that Emma was the angel that helped birth and start the whole prophetic movement in Kansas City in the 1980s. She was a mothering-type angel that helped nurture the prophetic as it broke out. Within a few weeks of Bob asking me about Emma, I was in a service in Beulah, North Dakota. "In the middle of the service I was in conversation with Ivan and another person when in walks Emma. As I stared at the angel with open eyes, the Lord said, "Here's Emma." I'm not kidding. She floated a couple of inches off the floor. It was almost like Kathryn Khulman in those old videos when she wore a white dress and looked like she was gliding across the platform. Emma appeared beautiful and young - about 22 years old - but she was old at the same time. She seemed to carry the wisdom, virtue and grace of Proverbs 31 on her life. She glided into the room, emitting brilliant light and colors. Emma carried these bags and began pulling gold out of them. Then, as she walked up and down the aisles of the church, she began putting gold dust on people... Within three weeks of that visitation, the church had given me the biggest offering I had ever received to that point in my ministry. Thousands of dollars! Thousands!... During this visitation the pastor's wife (it was an AOG church) got totally whacked by the Holy Ghost - she began running around barking like a dog or squawking like a chicken as a powerful prophetic spirit came on her. Also, as this prophetic anointing came on her, she started getting phone numbers of complete strangers and calling them up on the telephone and prophesying over them... Then angels started showing up in the church." More recently, Todd stated that in one of his "Third Heaven" trips he literally visited the small cabin where the apostle Paul lives in Heaven. Paul told him that he wrote the book of Hebrews with the personal help of Abraham the Patriarch:

i too would ask you to exercise caution... and I for one would not watch the so-called florida revivals..... you must remember the devil comes with lying signs and wonders..... read the Word , die to self and seek the Lords face not spiritual deceptions.....this is the day and hour of great deceptions so beware...soak yourself with the Written Word of God.... for in His Word you will find Him and His heart................

Here lately I have to say more and more I stand on this scripture..... God will wipe away every tear from thier eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying, and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.....rev.21:4

I don,t know that I have any one favorite....all the word is my favorite... but the one I have stood on time and time again..... all things work togther for the good of those who love the Lord.....I just asked my husband.... and of course his is ..... Woman!!! thou submit!!! lol....

maybe God wants us to use those "miracles"called legs....back to the old days.....

little by little by little, our freedoms are being taken away..... and I wonder is anyone paying attention!!!

Please take note of the information below and pass it along to others who have or work with children. Schools are distributing this book to children through the Scholastic Book Club. The name of the book is "Conversations with God." James Dobson talked abou t thi s book twice recently. It is devastating. Parents, churches and Christian schools need to be aware of it. Please pay special attention not only to what your kids watch on TV, in movie theaters, on the internet, and the music they listen to, but also be alert regarding the books they read. Two particular books are, "Conversations with God" and "Conversations with God for Teens" written by Neale D. Walsch. They sound harmless enough by their titles alone. The books have been on the New York Times best sellers list for a number of weeks, and they make truth of the statement, "Don't judge a book by its cover or title." The author purports to answer various questions asked by kids< STRONG> using the "voice of God". However, the "answers" that he gives are not Bible-based and go against the very infallible word of God. For instance (and I pa rap hrase), when a girl asks the question "Why am I a lesbian?" His answer is that she was 'born that way' because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with brown eyes, etc.). Using the voice of God, he tells her to go out and "celebrate" her differences. Another girls poses the question "I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?" Using the voice of God, His reply is, "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong." Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin. Using the voice of God, his reply "I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged." Not only are these books the false doctrine of the devil, but in some instances quote (in error) the Word of God. And the list goes on. These books (and others like it) are being sold to schoolchildren through (The Scholastic Book Club), and we need to be aware of what is being fed to our children. Our children are under attack! So I pray that you be sober and vigilant about teaching your children the Word of God, and guarding their exposure to worldly mediums, because our adversary, the Devil, roams about as a roaring lion seek ing whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We know that lions usually hunt for the slowest, weakest and YOUNGEST of its prey. THE DEVIL ALREADY HAS A GRIP ON OUR TEENAGERS, NOW HE IS GOING AFTER OUR CHILDREN. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IF THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB IS IN YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL, SPEAK OUT! WARN OTHER PARENTS, WAGE A CAMPAIGN AGAINST IT ON YOUR P.T.A. AND WITH YOUR SCHOOL BOARD. PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN WHO ALREADY HAVE THESE BOOKS. WE CANNOT NOT SIT IDLY BY.

I would most definately seek the Lord in prayer as to what to do... seek His wisdom as to how you are to proceed with the information you have.... pray for him in the meantime... and put him on every prayer list you know of......be still.. and wait for the Holy Spirit to lead and quide you in this matter....will also pray for your family......

You read and know the Word for Yourself....the Holy Spirit inside you leads and quides into all truth....... those seeking the truth will get the truth.....that is the Lords promise.....know Jesus for Yourself, personally, and intimately...... He loves and longs for communion with us.... and it is the most desired thing in all the whole world and beyond.... to be in His Awesome, Wonderful... Exellent...Beautiful....Loving.... Presence......I could go on and on and on..... no words could ever describe what You will find in Jesus.....Ask and Ye shall recieve..... ask for the truth and not to be decieved and He will give you discernment.......

I admit to my share of heated posts, but I also have tried to bring peace into threads that have gotten out of hand. The reply I have gotten is basically the same as your statement about being passionate. Other replies are basically telling me that we have to correct another when they have erred. Then there are those who just don't care how they address someone else. It 's those posts that personally attack another, trying to make their rival feel inadequate, stupid and inferior in some way. Debating and arguing is not the problem, it is the attitude that is sad. Check through the listings of threads on any given day and see how many are not showing the fruits of the Spirit, but are displaying the fruits of the flesh. We think we are being Christians, but are we really? It seems like we are just trying to act like one. Tell me my friend, when does one say to themselves that nobody is listening? When a person does not want to change, how long is someone to keep trying? Yes, we are all human, not mater how much we desire to be like Christ, but after awhile, watching the same type of arguments go on and on and not see the Love of Christ at all, I do get discouraged. BTW ... I don't consider it running away at all. I consider it keeping my peace by not watching. Can you remember being in a situation where you said to yourself ... enough is enough? yes sometimes it gets a little heated....but then again sometimes we are passionate about the subject at hand..... blessed are the peacemakers.... so instead of running away.... why not try to be a peacemaker... and love inspite of.....
