As this church as a modern church of business with paid Pastors and buildings we have little of that which heaven sees as needed. Throw out 90% of those that teach in this modern church to get down to the core groups that have a measure of real faith in hope of salvation. The blood of Christ is taught as the only hope of salvation. That salvation becomes the primary subject. You need John 3 and all is well. Then you need to understand you took the magic pill and you are healed for life. There is a measure of truth in that statement based on the nothing but the power of the blood of the Lamb of God. There is life in the blood for the one who walks with Jesus Christ. It is your walk that brings you closer to the Holy Father. He our Father is in the throne room of God. Are you walking in the outer court with just enough of God? Do you have a concern about your walk ? The walk with Jesus hand in hand would have to be a Holy walk. If you see Jesus walking with you as you enter those dark place that the flesh of your life always takes you are foolish. If you don't have Jesus as the jewel of your life and the center of all that you do you walk a foolish life as a fool with the blood of the Lamb at the door to heaven. One foot in the flesh of life and one foot trying to keep it in the Kingdom of God. If you live the life of sin and confession you mock God. You take the blood of the Lamb as a gift to allow you hope in your sin for heaven. The blood of the Lamb is the door to allow you to find the Holy way. Grace and mercy have been offered to allow you to find the Holy way. Not for you to walk in sin knowing that all you have to do is pray for mercy. I am a sinner is the statement of the old man. I was a sinner is the statement of a soul that has been cleaned and washed in the pure clean water that flows form that fountain. You are lying to God and to yourself as you fall for the lies of Satan in the death of this flesh. You have to die to find life and this death leads to a life in victory over sin and IF you do sin you have one to call out to. Jesus will not be mocked - if you are trying to hold onto the life of sin and find heaven you are double minded and will never find the rewards of that city. To enter into that city your walk of hay wood and stubble will not be found worthy to enter into that city and you will suffer lose as your life is measured. You will not lose your soul but you will suffer lose. Most of all you lose that daily walk of peace with our Lord. You don't think there is anything better than your salvation and you would be completely wrong in that understanding. Don't think I am a awful Christian because I walk in this new heart given. I love people that share the walk of this new heart. What I don't like is people walking foolish lives of faith with no truth. I find little faith in most churches - what I find is comfort. Put God in this box and all is good. I am not a ok that is fine kind of soul when it comes to the Bible and my faith. Those nice pastors that make a living off keeping a couple of 100 souls happy will not be standing with me as my works burn up in front of me. The hay and wood means little to heaven and nothing to me. The deep richness of His Word and the Glory of His Spirit Truth is what I seek. The social club of being part of a group brings little joy to me. The strife conforming to the shallow water of flesh folks of faith has little to offer to me. Getting to know a bunch of souls that care little for prayer and the truth of the Word vs the standard message of I am good you are good and we are all waiting on the Rapture to take us home to a smiling Jesus. I agree with your direction but I will share this also. The Law was given to expose the need for sacrifice of sin that man left to himself can not overcome. The Messiah Yeshua came to the Torah based faith to fulfill the Law given to Moses for Israel. We are part of that Israel the spirit truth as the spirit child. Truth - what we need is a Spirit based life and not a place to go to confess our sins. Our hearts is really our life. I was not seeking truth but truth is was that came to me. I was 13 singing in my choir up-front in my little church and Truth in the form of Jesus Christ appeared on the back wall of my little church. Jesus looked at me and He was standing by a throne chair with His right hand on the back of the chair just looking at me. That was it and I left the choir and went to the alter and cried. This was a revival meeting and we had a little move of the spirit in my little church that night. Jesus came to me often in my walk as I learned to understand atonement and why I needed a Savior to take me out of my darkness into the light of Heaven. But - my entire life if failed often and would repent of my sins. I agreed with Billy Graham in that I felt I was a sinner needed the grace and mercy of the cross to get me through my days of darkness as a sinner. I got drunk - I lived my life to make money and more money. The sin I committed was varied and known sin. It was secret sin but it was not secret sin to my soul. I lied and I lied well to my wonderful wife about varied items. I lied to all others but not to my Lord. My Lord knew about all the darkness in my soul just as he showed me. I had like the Law a understanding of that which I should be but I could not control that which still was at work inside me. Sin would consume me to the point of death. Then after heart felt repentance my Lord would walk back into my life. My Lord is the one that changed my life by bringing the taste of Glory so Glorious that nothing else in the Universe matter. All that I was cried out for more of His ways and His walk. My desire in life changed from gain and money to His word and His spirit of prayer in my days and in my life. I did get set free and I did gain all of Him in me. Just now as I laid down to go to bed it came on me to share this post. That is my life now as Spirit truth comes to me late at night and I have a daily thoughts log I keep in my files. My Lord is always taking me to new verses that have never been placed in my spirit. My Lord is the source of my truth and not soul man. No man has ever come close to giving me the truth of my Lord. It is this Spirit Truth that has set me free and the desires of being in Him always at all times. I have no time to listen to souls speak of sin as if it might be a way or the way of the average Christian life. Understand this all of those that seek Christ. There is nothing average about our walk. The Spirit Walk of Truth is a lite way given for the next step. We don't move into darkness until the light of the moment comes our way. We learn to wait until that which is given is given. Wait until the light shows up. Darkness has nothing for me and to step one step into darkness is not part of me any more. His love His Joy His work in me into others is all that is on me or part of me in this day that I walk. Darkness vs the Light - that is all that any day is made of. If you love this world you will die with this world. If you are a seeker of that not seen by soul eyes you are blessed. Nothing in the world can judge you because you are not of this world and your Father is not of this world. We as Christians are a called out set apart people. We are to be the Sons of God to rule that which is to come. Some will sit on thrones and some will reign with Christ. We are His people and His called out Saints of God. Let me add to what I just posted - this is a truth - we talk about sin and not sinning much more than we do about the advantage of being obedient - why is that? People in this day don't see examples of obedience. We don't hear souls that have experienced victory speak. Over-comers in faith or to conquer Satan as you stand in Righteousness. Why is that - a weak church and a weak walk If you see yourself to be one to yield to sin and fail as Adam & Eve failed you will fail. If like Christ you see yourself being a victor in Battle that victory is yours. I confess that it is not longer I that lives as Paul states. I am a new man in Christ Jesus and all things have become new. How is such a bold statement possible? Because it happened in my life. He changed me - He visited with me - He taught me His ways If you say that is not possible you call me a liar to my face. I did happen and I walk pure daily. At first I would be pure for days then weeks. Then months and that is where I find myself now. To sin or stray from the course is beyond any thoughts that go through my soul man daily. To seek and pray is my daily pattern. The more of the world I turned off the more pure my day became. Now my Lord is turning off much of the world for His to become more of His. This is our Lord speaking to a group of souls stating to them as a gathering or as we call now a Church. You need to repent - Repentance is turning away from deeds or actions being done as you confess to be something that your actions reflect otherwise. Light only holds light and for you not to walk in Light you have to remove the light source. As you walk in darkness you sin Sin will always be under the judgment of Light because as soon as Light shows up the unrighteousness must flee. My view is simple - once saved always saved has no standing in the Bible of seeking truth and anyone defending sin stands with Satan. It is not possible for any Christian to defend sin but we know that many believe that sin will and does happen in ones life. But why if one says this day I am walking in obedience people see that as that person is saying he can't sin. I know I was a sinner and I know that I can walk in disobedience. That in no means says that I will sin or that I am going to sin. If I walk this day pure I intend to walk the following day pure. My closing thoughts on this is that my Lord is full of love. His atonement for your sins as He laid down His life for you. As a babe in Christ you have lots of rope to deal with as you grow. I know I did and thinking about Him giving up on you would be hard. If you turn your heart back to darkness and do not repent - then turn to that humble man or woman you must be as a sinner seeking the clean water of repentance - would He blot you out of the Book of Life?
