  1. The past has many dimesions. There are sometimes things we must remember from our past so that we do not do the wrong thing again. Then there are lessons we have learned in the past that we need to carry with us so that we can continue to grow into who God wants us to be. There are memories in the past that we need to hold on that are both positive and negative. Each serves their purpose. But, the other side of the coin is we don't need to live in the past. Just remember what we have been through, what we have learned from it and utilize what we need. Now if you are talking about holding grudges from things done in the past, Forgiveness is a commandment of God and we MUST forgive others in order for God to forgive us (Biblical). So holding grudges from our past is something we have to release and not continue to do. No matter what someone else has done to use, we must forgive them (though this does not mean at all that you must trust them or associate with the anymore if they are toxic for you). So many times people say "Stop holding on to the past" but thats a false statement. Keep what you need from the past (that which will help you grow, learn, and remember what to do and not do in a life for Christ) and leave behind what you don't need and what is useless to you (grudges, regrets, rejections, and all other negativity that serves no purpose in life today). Its learning which is which that is difficult for most.
  2. There's a message in a bottle app you can get in playstore, it resembles a screen app we used to have. You type a message and just toss it and sometimes you get a reply, other times another bottle floats up on the surface you can open it and read the message. When we used to do it, it was really cool. There were times someones message was about how much they loved someone else, other times someone was feeling down, other times someone was rejoicing, and even sometimes, someone sent a prayer out in the bottle. It rolled up on virtual ocean, you retrieved it and could read it and reply. We used them to spread God's love and the word of Christ to others. There were times we got a reply back someone asking for a specific prayer request and once in a while, someone wanting to know more about Christ from another country. I really miss having that up on my computer screen. I think I'll try the app they have on play store and see if it is at all the same. It would be nice to do that as we got to know people from around the world in a safe way and we all were connected .... by messages in a bottle.
  3. Some are single parents due to other circumstances. I am a single parent, but owe no explanation why or how that happened, however, people make assumptions as they will. Be careful judging a single parent. You don't know the whole story or why or how they are a single parent.
  4. Everything causes cancer these days....
  5. You made an assumption, did not go by what was stated. That's alright you have the privelege of assumptions. You are actually nitpicking at this point. I have stated what I stated. You dont have to agree, you dont have to 'believe', thats your right and your choice. I stand by what I have stated and that is also my right and my choice. You are the one that kept bringing up the swab information....
  6. I stated they left the swabs "in the package'. Nowhere did I say they were not opened. I did not post false information. I work in the medical field. Not sure who your 'we' is as you are the only one going on. We all have our own opinions and beliefs and all have a right to them. Again I didn't post anything false at all, thats your opinion it is false and you have a right to it.
  7. Sorry Chickencoop, I just saw the red on the pic and was thinking it was you lol. I have corrected the post I should have looked at the name not just glanced at the pic beside the post. Apologies.
  8. I take it seriously as a virus out there, I do not take seriously all the misinformation spread. As for what I stated about drs sending in the unused swabs, it is TRUE. Just because you don't believe doesn't make it untrue.
  9. Hate to be the one to break the news to you all..... We are all.......gonna die. If we eat processed food, if we eat organic food, if we eat only plants and veggies, if we eat meat, if we eat bread, if we don't eat bread, if we eat seeds, if we eat sugar, if we eat carbs, if we eat chocolate, if we drink coffee, if we drink alcohol, if we drink water, if we eat raw foods, if we eat cooked foods, etc etc etc..... We are still....all....gonna die one day. The thing we should be more concerned about than what we eat is where are we going to go when we die? That's whats really important. (BTW TY to lonerandy for your explanation in the beginning, it was spot on!)
  10. A few doctors in our area actually took swabs that are used to test for covid, did not use them on anyone at all, left them in the package, sent them to the lab to be tested (without having used them on anyone) and got positive results back from the swabs. they did this at our hospital too. This means one of 2 things: 1) Swabs being used for testing are laced with Covid, OR 2) they are randomly claiming swabs used for testing as positive even if they are negative. Doctors are not allowed to publically state their findings which I believe is unjust, unfair, and a lot of other 'un' things. If they were, many would be speaking up about how this is being handled and how the tests are not accurate, etc.
  11. If we are in Christ, He is in us. If you are living in sin, you are not living in Christ. Does this mean He isn't there for you? No. It means He is patiently waiting for you. If you are living a life you know is wrong, the way to feel close to Him again is repentance and to change your life back into what you know is right according to His Word. He also tells us that there is always a way out of temptation and sin and if you continue to give in to temptation and sin, then yep you will keep feeling far from Him.. We cannot hear Him if we are not His sheep and if we choose sin over Him, we are not His sheep. We turn our backs on God, He doesn't turn His back on us. We walk away from Him, but He promised to never leave us not forsake us. However, if We deny Him, He will deny us to the Father. God is always there willing and ready to listen to and accept a truly repentant heart. But a truly repentant heart also turns away from the sin they are repenting for. If you plan to continue in any sin, then you really aren't repentant. But if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. God loves you. Jesus Christ died for you. He's waiting for you to come running to Him with His arms open wide. But, He gave us free will to choose, and He won't force us into anything. If you feel far from Him, then draw near to Him. Seek and you will find... but you gotta do the work --- i.e. Stop living a life of sin and start living the life He intended in purity until marriage (for starters)
  12. We got flu shots when they first came out --- we got very sick with the flu that winter. We did not get anymore flu shots in the years after that --- we have never been sick at all with anything since. I am curious to know how many critical patients with covid have gotten the flu shot. Also, the fact that the deaths are from bacterial infection in the lungs, nobody is realizing --- Covid is a virus not a bacteria. Therefore, the bacterial infection did not come from Covid -- but possibly from the ventilators being used or masks being worn would be the logical explanation. A virus is not bacterial and a bacterial infection isn't a virus. They are 2 different things. Bacterial infections usually respond to antibiotics, but a virus will not respond to antibiotics. So: Person has covid (a virus) and they are put on a ventilator (which causes bacteria build up in the system) they are given an antibiotic which covid a virus does not respond to and covid is weakening the system so the bacterial infection can now take over.... ok that was way too much thinking but there is a lot to think about in these times. As for the vaccine --- I will not be getting it.
  13. Seems you have decided to stick around at least to read the responses to your thread if nothing else. We all have a right to opinion, beliefs, etc and we have to also allow others their right to the same as well. We share our differences in beliefs, opinions, etc, but we also have to be willing to listen to others share theirs as well. And every once in a while, there comes a point in the conversation where both sides meet up somewhere along the line and the bottom line is usually agreed upon. The bottom line to all of these posts is this: Jesus is Lord. He is still on the throne. And no matter what your beliefs or opinions are, no matter what mine are, no matter what anyone else's are... this is still fact: Jesus. Is. Lord. Of. All. And we all will face Him face to face one day. Every. Single. One. Of. Us. So if nothing else in the middle of all the sharing of opinions and beliefs gets agreed on, I think all believers can agree on that one thing and THAT is the one thing that matters in the end of it all.
  14. Jesus NEVER leaves us. We leave Him. We choose to walk away from Him, but He never leaves us nor forsakes us. Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” We choose to walk away from God, from Christ, but God never walks away from us. Too many believe sayings they here that are then said to be from the Bible but are not from the Bible at all. This is why we need to know God's word for ourselves.
  15. If Jesus "ran away" every time someone disagreed with Him or didn't listen to Him, we would all be in a LOT of trouble!
