I think Jesus had the most perfect faith that exists. He didn't do ANYTHING unless he asked the father 1st and was 100% obedient to the Father's will at all times.

However when I read it, it seemed more fairy tale and ancient myth than actual events or history. It's certainly not a sin to read the books, but I think it would be a sin to elevate them to scripture. If Jesus wanted them in the Bible, they would be.

I can't wrap my head around why ANYONE would vote for Biden. His policies have made America very unsafe. He's allowing an invasion of millions of violent criminals. The Democrats simply want these millions as blue voters, but what happens when the crime rate reaches unstoppable heights?? America is about to be forever changed and will never again be recognizable as the America our founders fight for. Jesus must be very close because the whole world seems to be about to push the button on WW3.

Islam has always been a very violent and bloody religion. It has caused slavery and death to many millions. It boggles the mind that there are people actually claiming that Islam is peaceful. It has NEVER been peaceful in it's entire 1300 year history. I think Islam should be illegal. No good ever comes from it. I wonder sometimes if the AntiChrist might be Muslim.

I'm NOT a fan of needles, but I do donate plasma, since I at least get paid for that. Maybe someone should open a Christian tattoo shop with free tattoos. That might motivate some people. Of course I also believe the mark of the beast will be a tattoo, so I guess we should use great discretion which ones we get.

The great commission is for ALL believers. There are many things said in the Bible that may have originally been said to only a few people but were clearly meant for all. Jesus told Nicodemus alone about being "Born Again" yet it's widely quoted and believed by millions today. Was the term Born Again only for Nicodemus? There are other examples, but I think you understand my point. Besides, if the great commission wasn't for everyone, then it would be a great contradiction that millions who have brought glory to God were disobedient.

Praise God. I'm sure that will lead her to many witnessing opportunities. I'm not brave enough to get a tattoo, but I wear T-shirts with Christian messages and I wear a nice golden cross. I do so for witnessing opportunities AND to constantly remind myself WHO and what I'm living for.

I'm a bit confused. You didn't seem to quote me directly and I haven't said anything on this thread in quite awhile. But in an attempt to answer you, I have no problem at all with tattoos. Yes they can glorify God and be used for his glory. The subject of the tattoo is what's either sinful or not. The word worldly as I understand it simply means something that doesn't specifically glorify God. But God tells us to do EVERYTHING for his glory, so you can eat, sleep, drive, and get tattoos for his glory. I hope that answered what you were talking about.

I will say we should only judge other societies by God's standard, not our own. Times were different centuries ago, BUT I don't think there was ever a time where marriage to a 9 year old was socially acceptable. The Bible doesn't mention an age of consent, but unless I'm mistaken, even in biblical times and in the Holy Land, people had to wait till they were teens to marry, and they married each other, not 50 year olds. So I think it's safe to say Jesus would NOT condone what Mohammed did under any circumstances.

To a point maybe, but when we KNOW what God says about something and we KNOW what God wants us to do, our feelings are irrelevant. Obedience is the only Godly response, no matter how we feel about the situation. Abraham is a great example. He did the hardest thing a person could do because obedience was the only thing that mattered, not how he felt about something.

There is only 1 unforgivable sin. Intentionally rejecting the truth and forgiveness of Jesus after knowing the truth. Everything up until this can be forgiven, but once this is done, a person is pushed past the point of repentance. This is not because Jesus won't forgive the person, but because the person has hardened their heart so much that they are no longer able to seek forgiveness.

In the Old Testament, prophets proclaimed messages from God. I could be wrong but nearly every prophet in scripture foretold predictions of the future. Even the prophet in Acts was there to warn Paul about what would happen to him. Prophets spoke God's word and warned the people about coming judgement. Today we have a complete Bible with everything God wants humankind to know. It's illogical for there to be prophets when we already have a complete message from God. Plus even if there were prophets anything they would say would have to match what scripture already says, so it would be redundant anyway. There's no logical reason for a prophet to exist today.

Acts 2:17 is actually a quote from Joel. So it goes back almost 3,000 years. But anyway, this is taking about the end times, either the Tribulation or the millennium. It is not talking about today. If you believe it refers to today, I request reasons for that belief. I will also make the point that in this particular context of Acts 2:17, it's taking about people proclaiming God's word, not making predictions as is most people's understanding of a prophet. The context also seems to indicate that everyone both young and old will have this ability, further showing it will not be a few specific people but EVERYONE who has this gift, and clearly that's not going on today. There are NO prophets or Apostles on earth. Prophets were needed in the days where God's word was not available to everyone or God had a specific message for the people. Historically, I'm not aware of a single instance of a legitimate prophet ever existing AFTER the conclusion of scripture with the Apostle John. Therefore, almost 2,000 years WITHOUT a prophet and with a completed scripture, there's absolutely no reason to think there would be prophets today. There HAVE been people who claimed to be prophets, BUT every single one was false and many were cult leaders. If anyone tells you they are a prophet, RUN away. They are lying. As far as speaking in tongues, it means nothing. Tongues is the most faked and counterfeit gift there is. People think it's speaking gibberish and some false teachers claim to teach people to speak in tongues. I've seen MANY people speak gibberish, but I've never seen anyone speak in tongues.

It's going to get worse. As we approach the end, we can expect to see Christianity outlawed and Christians imprisoned or executed for their faith. It's already illegal to own a Bible or go to church in some countries, but as we get closer to the tribulation, it will become global and the saints worldwide will be persecuted.

YES. If you made a vow before God that you that you would love and honor your spouse, in sickness and health, in good or bad, then you must honor that vow. You're personal feelings are irrelevant. This is a good reason why it's important to choose your spouse very wisely and after much prayer. God intended marriage to be PERMANENT, no matter how people felt about it after.

I'm my opinion, I believe the 30 minutes of silence is all those in Heaven in awe and sadness about the further horrors and terrors that are about to come upon the earth and those still living on it. Maybe it could also be a collective prayer of those in heaven for the salvation of those on Earth.

That's good. If I may ask, do you pray for their salvation? Personally I think the salvation of a person is the most important thing we could pray for.

It sounds good in theory, but I think the 2 party system is just too powerful. Tens of millions of people in my opinion are far too loyal or devoted to their party. Even in the face of common sense, many will vote for their party no matter what. I like the idea of a 3rd party but I didn't think it's very realistic.

I'm so proud of DeSantis. He's definitely trying to fight evil in this country. Getting Chaplains in schools is an excellent 1st step to returning education to God. Thankfully we finally have a conservative SCOTUS, so there's a good chance the ACLU's legal challenges will fail. Hopefully the Christians that are in office will take this opportunity to get God back in public life because it's very clear that removing God is the cause of endless problems.

I regret to admit that I never do this. Yes it's biblical and I know I'm supposed to do it. I didn't know if it's laziness or anger that causes me not to. But yes we should. Could you imagine if an extreme liberal suddenly became a Christian and went super conservative overnight? That would be super exciting. I'll pray that happens to Biden. Curious, we are supposed to pray for our leaders, BUT what exactly are we supposed to pray for?? Wisdom, long life, good health, seeking God, etc??
