For the first time in years, I think things actually look better. They are exposing corruption in our government; hostages are being returned to Isreal and negotiations are being made to end the war in Ukraine. If you think the world is so awful, just go out and be in nature. Witness the beauty God has created. There is nothing any of us can do about it anyway. There is evil that runs this world. It's the same evil that brought all of the brainwashing and lockdowns during covid. The puppet masters. Don't believe them. Believe in God. Worry about your friends and family. How to help people that you love.

I don't think Musk has the power to do anything other than audit and make recommendations. Trump has to decide along with his cabinet.

USAID is nothing but a way for corrupt politicians to launder money. Elon Musk is a national hero. Buying Twitter saved freedom of speech. Without him doing that, there is no way Trump would have won. He fired 80% of the staff of Twitter and it runs better now than ever. I hope he does the same thing with our bloated, corrupt government. Also, he's not doing anything but making recommendations. He has no power. Anyone angry, needs to look up what our money was actually going to. Drag queen shows, DEI, condoms for Palestinians, sex change operations, terrorist. Democrats are mad their gravy train just ended. They are despicable. Stop listening to the corporate media. If you don't know, they hate America and want to destroy it.

Nehemiah 12:27 Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought out the Levites from all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem so that they might celebrate the dedication with gladness, with hymns of thanksgiving and with songs to the accompaniment of cymbals, harps and lyres. How ludicrous is an open border? Jerusalem had walls. For what? To regulate who comes in and to protect the citizens. If the border stayed open, how many would come? 15-20 million in the last four years. Imagine what 200 million would look like. It would completely bankrupt us. There wouldn't be enough food, jobs, housing. We would be turned into a third world country. The open border benefits the drug cartels and China, not the poor immigrants. The immigrants are the victims. The cartels completely control the border. Nobody crosses without their permission, or they are killed. Many have been sold into slavery to pay for their crossing along with their children. Did you know that the Ukraine government has been selling our weapons on the black market to the highest bidder? The cartels now have military weapons capable of taking down commercial aircraft. They have been making BILLIONS the last four years. China works directly with them and has built Fentanyl labs in Mexico. Fentanyl is not like meth. You can't cook it up in your basement. The chemicals involved are difficult to get and it requires actual scientists to manufacture. With the open border, it has allowed a direct pipeline of Fentanyl, terrorists and innocent people being trafficked into our country. Have you seen the camp sites? They are littered with the clothing of little children. Over a hundred thousand are missing. They are slaves now thanks to the Biden administration. It makes me sick. They didn't care about any of those people. Everyone involved with the open border should be in prison. Afghanistan. We left billions of dollars worth of weapons behind. We also left all of the equipment to make genuine US passports. On top of that, we have been sending the Taliban between $40 and $80 million dollars a WEEK since we left due to utter incompetence. It was in the budget to help the Afghan government and we rubber stamped the budget for the last four years and give the money to the Taliban now. It only cost $500k to pull off the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We have given the Taliban around $10 BILLION with a B, dollars. They hate us all. Our border has been wide open for four years. We are all going to suffer because of it. It's not compassionate or Christian to leave the border open until we are all destitute. That is insanity. We need a secure border so that we can help Americans. Once our people get help, then we should start helping everyone else. If your children were starving, would you feed the neighbor first? No.

I guess only natural born Americans are bad. We should all deport ourselves.

The Supernatural Global-Capitalist Empire is in View
Cyoder replied to tatwo's topic in General Discussion
I believe that Trump will stop the globalists. They were all working for Biden the last four years. They all know that Trump is coming for them, so they bent the knee. I hope Trump and his team of people I truly admire (RFK Jr, Tulsi, Cash Patel, Pete Hegseth, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswami, J.D. Vance) will truly make a difference. Elon fired 80% of the people working at Twitter and it's better than ever. I hope they do the same with our government. They need to break the ties between big pharma, big food, our intelligence organizations and the news media. They have all been lying to us and pushing propaganda for decades. Just imagine what the last election would have looked like if the media told the truth the last 8 years. The covid lies, Russia gate lies, fake felonies, fake racism and rape allegations, hiding the border crisis, Hunter laptop cover up, Biden family acquiring large sums of money from the Chinese and Ukrainians. Trump would have won almost every state. I'm not worried about Trump, I'm worried about our government killing him.- 54 replies

People thought John Wayne Gacy was a nice neighbor until they found all the bodies under his house.

You should move there to get away from all the tyranny here.

I don't think we will be able to kill it. It's going to be smarter and faster than us. What scares me the most is how quickly it's learning. It's getting "smarter" every second of every day. Imagine what it will be in five years.

AI is a tool. It will be used for great good and terrible evil. It reminds me of the race for the nuclear bomb. We just don't know if we are racing towards our death or to a better world. I think the biggest problem is the people creating it. Many are left wing and think of humanity as a plague on the earth. That's not a great foundation to start with.

Close the border. Actually close it, no matter what it takes. Start attacking cartel members across the border. Deport as many criminals as possible. Deport anyone else that the find along the way. Once we get that done, give people six months to come forward. Everyone who comes forward gets a green card. If they can stay out of trouble and stay employed for five years, give them the opportunity to become citizens. Once the green cards are issued, pass an executive order to fine anyone hiring illegals without green cards $250k for every day worked and 5 years in prison. Anyone who doesn't come forward, gets deported.
-
This isn't about racism or being "native born". It's about protecting the people that live here. Like you said, we have enough criminals already. Why would we want to knowingly let in more? We might as well just let everyone out of prison while we're at it. I'm not against immigration. I'm against letting WAY too many people in without proper housing and not knowing anything about them. Imagine if 50,000 new people showed up in your town every month. Where would they go? Who is going to feed them, house them, clothe them? That's been happening every month in the border states. Having an open border is not compassion. It created nothing but death and suffering. Over a hundred thousand children are missing. Sold into slavery right here in our country. The cartels made hundreds of millions of dollars moving people across the border. Women and girls were raped and abused. Many are now working as sex slaves for the cartel to pay off the trip. The weak were left to die in the desert. Everyone complicit in the open border should be in prison. I believe the majority of illegals just want a better life. I hope they work out a plan for many of them to become citizens. I also know that other countries also sent us their worst to get rid of them. They literally emptied out prisons and sent them here. They also sent terrorists. I'm really worried we are going to see the repercussions of that over the next few years. Those people have to go.

It's not about "strangers", it's about letting unvetted criminals, terrorists, gang members and drug dealers into the country that have been raping, killing and trafficking our citizens. Not to mention all of the fentanyl deaths. South American countries emptied out their prisons and mental institutions to send them here. There is nothing Christian about that. You don't "let" people do any of those things. You have no control over any of it. You can control your house. How many do you want? You want all of us to take them in as a society, but you won't take in one. Just go down to a homeless camp and invite someone back to live in the spare bedroom. Make sure it's a military aged male with some face tattoos. I'm sure you will be fine.

I believe God gives people the ability to speak languages they don't understand. Actual languages. This is what is taught in the Bible. Like me waking up and somehow being able to speak Russian when I need to teach the gospel in Russia. That would be a miracle. Mumbling incoherent nonsense? Not so much. I think Biblical reference to this is weak at best. Seems like the work of charlatans.
-
I don't believe speaking in tongues is a real thing. It's just people making up nonsense. In the Bible, speaking in tongues was a miracle only because the disciples instantly could speak another language. A real language, like Spanish or Latin. I totally believe that is real. If they spoke some made up jumble of words, nobody would be able to understand, and everyone would have thought they were just crazy. Made up language that nobody but an "interpreter" can understand sounds like a way to manipulate people. Watching good ol Kenneth Copeland going off mumbling nonsense then begging people for money comes to mind.

I think Jesus would show compassion to those who deserve it. Military aged, healthy, single males need to go. Criminals need to go. People unwilling to work need to go. Everyone else should be given an opportunity to stay. Offer them work visas and if they can stay out of trouble and support themselves for five years, offer them a chance to become a citizen. I think it's the only thing that makes sense. It's impossible to deport millions of people.

Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
Cyoder replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
How could you possibly know that big pharma is what is being referred to as "sorcerers' in Revelation? Seems like quite a stretch. Could be a hundred other things. Wine is alcohol. Alcohol is a mind-altering drug that has caused more human suffering than any other drug on earth. Alcohol can open the door to addiction and Satan, it's no different. It can also be used in moderation and enjoyed. Seeing that Jesus was ok with wine as long as it was used responsibly, I'm thinking a lot of other substances probably fall into the same category. I agree I went too far assuming that you considered people heathens for using psych meds. I apologize. From what I've witnessed with several people in my life on prescription medication, it doesn't alter reality. It's more like someone who needs insulin. For someone who's depressed, it may increase dopamine levels to make their mood better. It's not intoxicating. -
Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
Cyoder replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
You have no idea if anything you said is actually true. It's nothing but superstition and it's not even specifically backed by scripture. How arrogant is it to assume that everyone taking psych meds is an unsaved heathen? Are you God? Wine is mind altering and the Bible talks about the use of it constantly. Jesus even provided more to a wedding. Nobody was drunk at the wedding? Why do you think they ran out of wine? I never said my wife had CTE. I gave it as an example of a type of physical damage to the brain that causes behavioral problems. Not everything is Satan and witchcraft. Also, prescription psych meds have nothing to do with psychedelics. They are more like taking insulin for diabetes. How do you know these people weren't guided by God to seek help with medication? -
Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
Cyoder replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
There is a vast difference between experimenting with psychedelics and going to a psychiatrist and getting a prescription medication. To suggest that prescription psych medication is basically going to send you to hell is pretty irresponsible. I don't understand how going to a doctor and getting antibiotics is ok, but you have to just pray to overcome mental illness, or you can't "walk with Christ". That's what was said. It would have been completely different if praying and trusting in God was brought up as an alternative or something to do in conjunction with medical treatment which I totally agree with. I do think drugs should be the last resort for treatment and they are prescribed too quickly. Do you know why my wife needs medication? She almost died from a brain tumor. After the brain tumor, her PTSD got exponentially worse. You see something similar with people that have CTE from repeated head injuries. God doesn't heal everyone just by praying, usually you have to take some kind of action along with the prayer. In fact, he barely heals anyone that way. When he does, it's so extraordinary they refer to it as a miracle. That's how God works. Some he heals, others he guides to people or doctors that can help. -
Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
Cyoder replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
Suggesting that mental health medication is somehow against God and that mental illness is a myth is pretty terrible advice. I recommend you stop giving it. People take medications for a multitude of problems, how is this any different? You wouldn't just pray about cancer, you would go to the doctor as well. Mental illness is no different. I will agree that way too many people are on medications they don't actually need but it doesn't mean that nobody needs them. -
Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
Cyoder replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
My wife suffered the trauma, not me. I'm not claiming PTSD because of what my wife suffered. In my opinion, there's a huge difference between actually suffering from trauma and knowing someone who suffered trauma. Comparing the two was insulting to me. I shouldn't have reacted the way I did but you have no idea the amount of suffering I've witnessed and been through with her. -
I listen to a lot of podcasts about people in the military. Many suffer terribly with PTSD from all of the trauma they endure. My wife has also struggled with this for many years. We have tried every treatment we can afford. She has gotten better with prescription medication and therapy. I pray for her all the time. One thing that has gotten to be more mainstream in the last ten years or so is the use psychedelics to treat PTSD, trauma and even addiction. I have heard so many stories of people being healed with Psilocybin, Ibogaine, 5 MEO DMT, Ketamine and Ayahuasca. Not just feeling better, but miraculous results. Addictions turned off like a light switch. Crushing anxiety just wiped away. Many say they have such a profound experience that they know God is real, and this turns them toward Jesus. My wife has debilitating anxiety from PTSD. It's so bad that she was on disability and couldn't work more than a menial part time job. After hearing of all the positive results, she tried Ketamine infusions. This is where they put you on an IV drip of Ketamine for about 30 minutes. The protocol was 3x a week for two weeks then as needed. After the two weeks, her anxiety was almost completely gone. She went from struggling to leave the house to working a full time job as a manager. She still goes back for treatment maybe every 4-5 months. Here is my dilemma, is it evil? I'm not sure what to think. So many people are being healed and some even turn to Jesus which is amazing. I have heard other stories of people encountering demons and evil entities during these experiences. I'm worried that sometimes satan will give you just enough help so that he can take your soul. I've tried psychedelics a few times. Most of the experiences were when I was young and stupid and once about a year ago. The last experience was scary. I didn't do it to "get high", I was hoping it might help me with some of the things I struggle with. I wanted a healing experience. I prayed almost the entire time. I prayed to God to only bring good. I prayed for him to show me if the experience was good or evil. I don't ever want to open the door to evil. At one point, I had a vision of what I thought to be Jesus. I had a feeling of peace come over me like nothing I've ever experienced. At the same time, a man in all white with long hair and a beard descended toward me with a bright gold glowing cross. He didn't look real, more like if someone were to make a cartoon version of Jesus. It was amazing and scary. I couldn't help thinking while it was happening "could this be the devil trying to trick me?" I couldn't let go and just experience it. I don't remember if I opened my eyes or how it ended exactly. I know this is a controversial subject, but I was wondering what better informed Christians would think. The one podcast, Shawn Ryan asked a Priest what he thought about it. Basically, he said if the result was good, and it helped you and brought you closer to God he didn't see an issue with it. For Shawn, it cured his addictions, helped with his anger and he became a Christian after. I also thought that many of these drugs occur naturally from mushrooms, roots and even toads. Could this be the forbidden fruit or something God provided to help us? I have seen the results first hand with my wife and I would like to see more of these treatments available in the U.S. but I still worry about it being good or evil. Maybe it's neither. What do you think?
