Also, here is a link with more information about the Hemaglobin A1C. Hemaglobin A1C It will help explain what it is used for. By the way, I too have diabetes. I was diagnosed Dec. 24, 2009 and started on Glucophage 500 mg twice a day to help with it. My doctor checks my Hemaglobin A1C about every 3 months to see how I am doing. I also check my blood sugar twice a day to make sure it stays in range. I am supposed to be eating properly to help as well. That part is more difficult. Also, if you are having trouble from neuropathy and your legs are giving out sometimes, you should probably be using a walker instead of a cane. A walker can provide better support for you because it uses both of your arms to help to stablize your legs using the four legs of the walker. As for the electrical sensations, would you describe them as the feeling you get if you hit your funny bone on your arm. Is that the "electrical" sensation you feel? I know that I can be resting my arms on the desk and move the wrong way and I will feel like an electrical shock around that area on my arm. It is quite uncomfortable. I am here for you. Hi TurtleTwo, I have been an LPN for 19 years and I agree with what AyinJade told you. Hgb A1c is a test that they do to get a 3 month average of how your blood sugars are doing and the BUN measures Kidney function. As for the "electrical sensations," you should discuss this with your Doctor. Explain to him when you noticed the symptoms starting and how you are concerned about it being connected with the Propranolol. If you are having trouble discussing things with your Doctor, I would suggest changing Doctors also. As for the Doctor stating that the Blood sugar reading was excellent, that could mean better than your past readings have been. I don't really know. I hope I have helped you.

Today I was doing laundry and thought how I hated doing it and wish I could be doing something else. Then I was reminded by the Holy Spirit how women used to do laundry before the Washer and Dryer were invented. Thank you Lord for my washer and dryer and having them do the work for me. All I have to do is place the clothes in them and they are washed and dried. I don't have to use a creek with stones or a wash board with a tub. I don't have to hang them out on the line to dry. Thank you Lord for the modern conveniences we take for granted on a daily basis. Forgive our ingratitude and lack of appreciation for the blessings you have bestowed on us!!! AMEN!!!!

AyinJade, I agree with you. To burn the Quran is putting ourselves on the same level as radical Islam. They have the mindset to turn to their religion or die. By burning the Quran we would not be showing the love that Jesus has for them, but only showing them contempt.

I have a co-worker who is Jewish. She is considered a Conservative Jew. She said that she doesn't believe in hell and that the Torah is her bible. The other parts of the Old Testament do not play a part in her beliefs. She believes when we die our spirit is turned to energy and released in the cosmos. HELP!!! I actually have two versions: NLT with dramatization read by Stephen Johnston and NASB MP3 audio bible read by Dale McConachie. I prefer the NASB because the NLT with dramatization has music in it which distracts from the scripture being read. I like the dramatization but the music needs to be softer. Here is a sample of what it sounds like. I especially like it when I have problems pronouncing some of the names and places in the bible. They are a stumbling block to me when I read aloud myself. I lose my concentration because of it. With the audio bibles this doesn't happen. I can absorb it more clearly this way. JIME

I agree with man. The life of a christian is a life that should be guided and governed by God via the Holy Spirit. People have to make the choice to enter in the narrow way and allow God to guide them on their path via the Holy Spirit to keep them on the narrow path. It is like being on a highway. There are a lot of exit ramps during your journey. Some people get off the narrow path with the cares and worries of this life. That is why "there are few who find it." JIME

The earth is land as Nebula has stated. However, to say the flood was local is to say that when God created the land, the land that Noah inhabited would have to have been the only land created. We know that was not the case. Isaiah exlplains that the earth is a circle (globe). This was absolutely proven when we started to explore space. The earth is a circle with lots of land on it. Noah did not inhabit all of the land areas, he did however, inhabit the earth. The flood was a global flood just as scripture states. JIME

It is really pretty. But it doesn't look real. I mean, I have seen alot of pictures that look like this done by artists. I am very suspicious of the NASA photos. They have an agenda about our origin. They would go to great lengths to make people believe want they want them to believe. Remember, they believe the Universe started from nothing that exploded into something billions of years ago.

Well, I will not have been reading that long. I will have just started the chapter and there I go yawning. It is so aggrevating.

I was wondering, does anyone else experience this? When I read the Bible aloud, I constantly find myself yawning . Does that happen to anyone else? When I read silently or listen to my audio Bible and follow along, I don't experience this. Do you think that it is because satan is trying to stop me from speaking the word which is very Powerful over him? Please tell me what you think. JIME
