No where in scripture does it say the God changed the 7th day Sabbath to the 1st day and called it the Lord's. Sunday is a religious tradition instituted by church of Rome under Constantine. God established the 7th day as holy from the beginning before the Law of Moses. Jesus and all the apostles kept the Sabbath and it clearly show this in all the gospels and Acts.

I would add that Sanctification is process of being set-apart being peculiar and different from the world/others. Jesus said the Word of God will sanctify us meaning if we are obeying the teachings of the word of God then we will be different from the the rest of the world. Elohim said be ye holy even as I am holy. Being Holy and Sanctified means the same thing. God declared the 7th day holy/sanctified meaning he set the 7th day apart from the rest of the days week to be a special day of worship and we are not to treat it as any other day. God wants his people to be holy/set-apart for him and different from the rest of the world.

How so? Just because I describe something one way and you describe something from your perspective does not mean we are not talking about the same thing.

Both Peter and Paul are true in both statements and in both cases. It would be like saying: X: Yahshua came to heal the sick. Y: Yahshua came to die on the cross for our sins. Both Y and X statements are logical true so you could say Yahshua came to heal the sick and die on the cross for sins. Resurrection: Yahshua did die for our sins, justification and eternal life but he also will reign as King over the whole earth and the 12 disciples will sit upon thrones over the 12 tribes Israel, both statements are true. Yahshua is coming back to reign on earth and dwell among his people and will be King of the whole earth his bride will be with him here on earth. Believers are the bride. Salvation: All the apostles taught salvation for both Jew and Gentile not just for believing Israel. Peter is the first Apostle that God revealed that the good news and salvation was for Gentiles as well in Acts 9 & 10 via the vision of the clean and unclean animals. He was the first apostle to preach to the Gentiles about salvation. This was also revealed when Yahshua told the apostles to go preach and teach the gospel to all the nations (Gentiles) starting in Jerusalem (Jews). All the Apostles were commissioned to take the Gospel to the Gentiles. As regards to the time of the restoration of the Kingdom of Israel and the 12 tribes has not happened yet still to be fulfilled.

is the pre trib rapture a false hope?
Jedi4Yahweh replied to pawz's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
No the bible says the beast will overcome the saints... And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. - Rev 13:5-8 KJV I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; ... And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. - Dan 7:21, 25 KJV -
That's pure speculation that it is Mary's genealogy and there is no mention of it being Mary's genealogy and it specifically mentions its Joseph (Jesus adopted father) in both genealogies. I agree we have to assume that its Mary's but it does not state that, but only mentions Joseph.

Yeah that symbol is used by Kabbalah and many other eastern religions also known as the Evil Eye charm. See link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamsa

Its a little hard to sit down go line by line of the differences between the two. Just pull up the two list. I have heard some say the one in Luke is of Mary side but Luke does not indicate its from Mary but mentions Joseph.
-
Compare the genealogy of Matthew vs Luke of Jesus they dont match.
-
Its possible it could have been a translation omission. Who knows or maybe you can find a hidden message why the dulcimer was not mentioned the second time. lol What has always confused me was why Jesus genealogy does not match up between Matthew and Luke or why list the genealogy of Joseph when Joseph was not his real father. Maybe there is a hidden message in that as well. I think its much more important we first obey the clear known messages verses getting caught in hidden messages.

[That] at what time ye hear the sound of the (1)cornet, (2)flute, (3)harp, (4)sackbut, (5)psaltery, (6)dulcimer, and (7)all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: ... Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the (1)cornet, (2)flute, (3)harp, (4)sackbut, (5)psaltery, and (6)all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. ... Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the (1)cornet, (2)flute, (3)harp, (4)sackbut, (5)psaltery, and (6)dulcimer, and (7)all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: - Dan 3:5, 7, 10 KJV The 7th includes all other instruments: (1)cornet, (2)flute, (3)harp, (4)sackbut, (5)psaltery, (6)dulcimer, and (7)all kinds of musick Its does look like in the second time it listed the items dulcimer was left out but then again it would be included in all kinds of music in #7. Who knows why it was not specifically mentioned in second instance. I think the point was when you hear all the instruments played at specific times that was your signal to bow down to the image.

Luke 3 & Mat 1 are describing the genealogy of Joseph not Mary.

Just curious why you have a Kabbalah symbol as your profile picture?

It refers to all that belong to David: his children, wives, servants, and descendants. Joseph was a descendant of David or as the scripture says from the house of David.

The bible says that Elizabeth and Mary were related and Elizabeth seems to be from the tribe of Levi since here husband was a Levite priest. If so this seems to make Mary whom is related to Elizabeth from the tribe of Levi as well. Jesus biological father was not Joseph whom was from the tribe of Judah because she was conceived by the Holy Spirit and not Joseph. So this seems to make Jesus human bloodline come from Mary whom seems to be from the tribe of Levi and not Judah? Unless Elizabeth was from Judah also but I am pretty sure Levites were not to mix their bloodlines with other tribes. Whats your thoughts?

I would assume your talking about these section of scriptures: And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed [are] you among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of your womb! "But why [is] this [granted] to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? "For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. "Blessed [is] she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord." - Luk 1:41-45 NKJV She was filled with Holy Spirit and prophesied about Jesus to Mary the mother of Jesus about what he would fulfill as Messiah. Basically a prophetic confirmation about Jesus and John the Baptist. What I find odd is that John was from the tribe of Levi and Jesus was from the Tribe of Judah but yet were cousins. I guess Mary and Elizabeth were related but fathers were from different tribes, but we know Joseph was not the real father of Jesus, so this seems to make Jesus human bloodline from Mary only. Was Mary from the tribe of Judah if so how was she related to Elizabeth unless she was also from the tribe of Judah?

I know when I was in middle eastern Arab countries (Saudi, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait) they also use Shalom for greeting and salutations. I thought was interesting but they are also descendants of Abraham. Had a few discussions with them and they are well versed in the teachings of Moses and honor the Sabbath (at least they dont work on Saturday, most business are closed on Saturday for religious purposes) and they follow much of the same commandments.

There is only one Kingdom, we dont follow Peter nor do we follow Paul. We are followers of Jesus and his teachings. If there seems to be some kind of doctrinal difference between them and what Jesus taught you default to what Jesus taught.

Amen brother....I would love to hear more about you vision.

They received the Spirit before but they did not receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit until after.

Many believe that John the Baptist was under the Nazerite vow but does not say specifically, but based on his life style it seems that way. It was the Holy Spirit that said he will not drink wine it was not a decision that John made for himself. I am not absolutely sure why other than it was the will of God that he drink no wine. Usually a Nazerite vow is only for certain period of time not a life long event. One theory is that John the Baptist was a Levite and operating in the role or type of priest dealing with sin via repentance and washing/baptism ritual for the forgiveness of sins. As stated earlier a priest is not allowed to drink wine while in a priesthood role.
-
I believe that reference of him no longer drinking wine has to do with his High Priest position that he was about to take on. High Priest were not allowed to drink wine while being a High Priest (Lev 10:9). When he returns to reign as King he will no longer be in the position of High Priest but King and therefor will drink wine in the new Kingdom.

What Adonai blesses, can not be cursed
Jedi4Yahweh replied to Jacob Ben Avraham's topic in Understanding Hebrew Roots
I would argue that there have been plenty of examples of things God blessed yet became a curse later. God created Earth, Man, and Animals and blessed them and then we see that God cursed Man for sin and as a result Earth and Animals become cursed as well. Another example, we see how God blessed Israel yet later cursed them for their disobedience. God warned Israel when he blessed them and have become fat and rich that they would become prideful and forget God and when they do the curses of the Law will overtake them. God says I set before you blessing and cursing based on your obedience to his commandments.
