Wow... I think I was a little surprised by your necessities list.. There really are few necessary things in our lives... Shelter ,food and clothing being the most important I believe.. If you have these you are doing good.. many do not even have those "necessities" If perchance you are blessed with more Praise God... This thread really makes my head hurt... I have a friend who is remarried... Once spouse died... the other spouse left years and years ago..not for another man but because they were "unhappy" after many years and much anger from the one that left there was a divorce... this couple is sinning by marrying ????...I am sorry but I do not think so... I am opposed to willy nilly reasons for a divorce ..totally.. like poor me I am not happy.. when you get married you should stay married.. Marriage binds you together in a way that is like no other relationship... You have become one... That is why divorced people struggle so ..they are ripped apart in their divorcement.. BUT there are good reasons for a divorce.. adultery ( and that said not all marriages end because a spouse has sinned..sometimes they allow God to heal their lives) violence ... ( and sometimes God heals that person too) No way and I going to make a law and say they must divorce.. There is no way I am going to make a law that says "no divorce"..."no remarriage".. I know there are people who believe my friends are terrible sinners and God does not approve of their relationship.. I think they are sad for putting my friends under their law like that ..

Kitty.. You are going to get yeahs and nays... for good reason too as both are reasonable.. Many will and many will not.. it is a very mild flu for most people but does of course cause deaths as any kind of flu does... BUT... only You can make that choice.. You need to get with your dh and ask the Father and then do as He tells you in your heart to do... Praying the Lord will remove the anxieties driven by the media and give you His peace and His direction..

Scozzafava is a rhino... This got my fur up last night when I watched Newt tell Greta the Reps needed to include the abortionists and the homosexual advocates as leaders in the party.. I do not want to be a dem light.. If the party moves one step farther toward the dems I am outta there..I will find someone who will fight for moral issues in our country or I will not vote at all .. There will be no point for they will be all the same .. Calling yourself a conservative does not make you one...

Last year the Lord spoke to me to pray for a year and my list was way shorter for the most part than yours and I will never now the end result.. But He was faithful through that year to keep my heart focused in prayer .. I continue although the year has ended.. but the "prompting of the Lord" is not there like it was for that particular prayer ... May you know the same blessing I was given..
