Dear Michael I am sorry that my post to Socrates4 ruffled your feathers that was not my intention. I have no problems with your beliefs as far as the Eucharist is concerned.In my post I stated they were not mine. I no longer walk in the tradition of the Catholic Church,that does not mean it it wrong for someone else,just not me. I don't need to dig futher or research more on the validity of Eucharist because my heart does not accuse me. I was only explaining to Socrates what I thought was the difference between the two different Traditions. If you want to e-mail me I think we can do this throuogh this board. my friends I still not sure about a pre trib rapture and I am still looking into that,I was taught it,but after reading some of the posts on here I am now not sure. I was taught that my sins were paid for by Jesus at the cross, the way I look at it is this since Iwas alredy deaed in my sin and tresspasses, then spiritually when the Holy spirit of God convicted me of my sin and of my need for Jesus and by His Grace I accepeted Him as my Lord and Saviour then I was made new, so my sins were judged then. I believe will be a the Judgement Seat of Christ for what ever works I have done since then not for my salvation but for any rewards should I get any. Love in Christ littlejoe

Dear Socrates4Jesus.. My friend to me you seem to be mixing things up a bit. You write of the Catholic Church and then write the difference between the way the Protestant Churches view the different practices about The Lord's Table. Surely you know all The different Churches have differnt doctrines. I have many brothers and sisters in Christ in both Traditions. I can't qoute you bible verses for you,I will leave that for others who are more equiped to do that. I will however give my thoughts on what you are asking. I believe Jesus was speaking of spiritual things when he said this. I don't believe that the bread and wine actually become the Body and Blood when the priest says this at a mass. I believe the communion is meant to remind us. I am not sure where in the bible this is but as often as you do this you do it memory of me until I come. I am not knocking the catholics here many of my family practice that religion. I don't practice any religion. By the Grace of God I walk in the Faith of God and The Freedom of Christ Jesus my Lord. The bible says Jesus was only sacrificed once. I believe the members of the catholic church believe He is sacrificed at the mass each time communion is given. I am willing to be corrected if am wrong. There is nothing I can do to earn heaven I never deserved it nor can I earn it. If you fell you want to join the catholic church then do so. May I suggest that you place your faith in Jesus alone not in any church you may wish to belong to. Love in Christ littlejoe

I don't think the Congreesmen or the Senate would like this idea,but I think it would change some things that are happening now. They could pass a law that 20% of all the oil exported from the US. be marked for use in the US only. That would help lower our use of imported oil,and may even take care of the petroleum speculation. Love in Christ littlejoe

This site was the first one I found. I had a friend on this site direct me to another. Then a new found friend directed me to Prophecy Talk.com. I like that one also. There is a lot to read and learn. My new found friend directed to The blue letter bible site. where there is a lot of good stuff on there. Study tools is really cool. I like this site because I can place my thoughts on here in without being an English major and nobody jumps all over me,also because if I don't qoute scripture people don't get upset. I can ask questions sometimes not as clear to those who are reading my post as they are to me but I usually get an answer that I can understand. I have been spending most of my time on PT.com. That is why some of the answers to your posts have not been replyed to. I need to do better with that. This is a great site. Love in Christ littlejoe

My dad called me sonny and so did the rest of my family. Some of my friends called me that also. Since my christian name is Joseph I got use to using both names. The hard part for me is remembering who knows me as sonny so I can answer them when they are talking to me or are calling me. I have a cousin who worked with me and would only use my Christian name in work otherwise he would call me sonny. Talk about trying to keep that straight. Lord help me. Love in Christ littlejoe

Hello Hurting Ihope you get to read this I have been on another Christian site so I haven't posted on this one for awhile. My friend as far as I am concerned there is only one dumb question that is the one that is never asked. I don't use chat as my typing is a poke and peck method and I can't keep up. Also my spelling leaves a lot to be desired and this way I can correct it when I see it is wrong. Please don't leave this forum. There are many here who can answer your questions in a loving way and help you in your walk of faith as you search for the truth. You can always sign in and read the different answers to posts that you may also have a question about without replying. You need only to reply to those you wish. My friends we seem to have a tendency to label ourselfs. In my opion that really makes makes things hard for all who believe. I think I understand the reason for it, but for me it doesn"t make it any easier for us to accept eachother in the love of God we share. The only label I will accept for myself is I am by the Grace of God a saved sinner. With that I may also say because of what Jesus has done for me I am now an adopted child of God. We have many different Traditions in The Christian Faith. I like to remind all who read this that although we do not all agree with the different Traditions we need to be careful how we look upon the people within those who do not share the same church pew we do. For our Great God is no respector of persons be they high or low He will saved people from all walks of life. I have seen Christians look down upon other followers of Christ because they were not from the same church. For me that is not Cool. If I believe my brother and sister in Christ is in error then I try to help them. Not Judge them because the Church they worship in is not the same as mine. Love in Christ littlejoe

My friend it depends on your heart, I see a beautiful messeage there. Whether or not you you choose to call it a Christian song is up to you. The fact that it is played at Christmas for me is not the point, Listen to the words and let your heart guide you. Love in Christ littlejoe

My friends on another board I made the statement that I didn't believe the promises made to the Jewish people and the Church the same. that is to say I think some Christians believe that The Church has taken the promises as its own, not sure if I am making myself clear. I believe The Church and The Jewish People are not the same. If you think I am in error please tell me why.
