here they will take them out of your hands ... NEVER let a child eat an ice cream or any sort of food near gulls as they have been known to injure the children taking the food out of the hands and even as they put it into mouths

If he tried that at the seaside here the seagulls would kill the cats to get at then food ... they are large and very aggressive and dont fear humans at all ...it is now illegal to feed gulls in the city as they attack humans to get at food they are eating

The problem being unless it is a blanket program ie several vets working full time for at least two weeks in an area then it wont work ....Neutering the males is often cheaper and more effective but most concentrate on the females . One female left un neutered can produce up to 12 kittens in a year but one male left un neutered can impregnate hundred females in a year

Lots of sheep dogs are well trained here and very valuable to farmers world wide BUT since the best are trained by Welsh speaking farmers they had to train the new owners as well

Apparently ( it was overnight for me but updated on face book ) there has been a second mating so we may yet see some chicks this year if they clear the nest

I remember him as a very young choir boy and hearing him sing this with a much " younger " voice ..loved the pure clear tone of that time

I love the way Shadow complains that 2 hours is not enough and its still his turn whilst Jackie pushes him off her nest LOL I dont know why they quarrel about who gets to be covered in that evil white stuff

Poor Jackie .. Shadow whacked her on the back with a spiky branch this morning .. she left the nest in a huff without any of the normal chatter and now is sitting looking very forlorn on a branch of a tree not far from the nest staring into a whiteout . With how in tune they are do you think they KNOW the eggs wont hatch now ?

Poor jackie looks exhausted. It is past midday and she is still on the nest and no food delivery She keeps lifting her head to look around but falls asleep till her beak hits the snow . So sad that all this work and they wont have a chick to raise

No wonder those eggs dont want to hatch IT IS SNOWING AGAIN !!!!!!

They appear to be changing places faster than they normally do wonder if they are giving up on the eggs ? Is there still time for a second clutch ? Do they clear the eggs from the nest if Jackie lays more ? hmmmmmmm

Other than Lucifer & his ilk, and the clearly understood enemies in armed combat between nations... How do you identify 'your enemy'? It seems we have to make a judgement here... a rather strong one. Are the people we fight in a war really our enemies? We dont know them as individuals we fight because two governments or rulers have decreed that we will do so . I grew up hearing from my grandparents about truces at Christmas when the " enemies " played football and shared food and drink then went back to killing each other once the day of truce was over I dont have the energy left at my time of life to hate anyone and we would need to be personally betrayed in my humble opinion to call someone an enemy . I am not sure even then I could honestly say someone was an enemy just that I no longer trust them nor do I want them in my life ..doesnt mean I hate them
