  1. Yes-but illegally downloading a copyrighted bible is the second wrong.
  2. Well, in reality if you want your marriage to work when its long distance you would HAVE to work extra hard on it, and your less likely to grow complacent seeing your spouse daily, so I can definetly see it.
  3. Resistance is not futile-we all know who wins in the end. But the problem is, the world does not know-and they won't know if we hide in our little churches. They will know when we get out and make a stand. Not because we don't know the outcome-but because we do know the outcome, and we need to stand for what is right, for what is true, so that others may see the truth. We need to show the world we are not cowards hiding under a steeple-but men and woman of courage, standing for what is right-regardless of the circumstances, no matter how hopeless it seem-because we serve an almighty God who is standing beside us giving us that courage. Stand for truth-regardless of how hopeless it seems, and remember the night is always darkest before the dawn.
  4. Walk while I agree with you on principle, I don't think people should copyright the Bible-but the fact is they do, and two wrongs DO NOT make a right. Christ did not repay wrong with wrong. so if you have a problem with copyrighted bibles don't respond by sinning in theft, but instead only go with the in copyrighted bibles.
  5. Yes its coming, but that's no excuse to sit back and do nothing.
  6. John S Im going with willow, you need to back up your statements. You saying that Babylon is Rome isnt evidence. Neither is saying its a different interpretation. How did you arrive at that interpretation? how does it fit?
  7. ya well, if they want detroit, that is one city they can have if you ask me.
  8. awesome, there is hope yet.
  9. about just evacuate everyone and leave it for future archaelogists to dig up? it could be americas less radioactive version of chernobyl.
  10. matt, I do believe I watched a documentary a while back, and theyve tried that if I do recall. You can actually go into detroit and buy buildings for a dollar, and theyre still not selling.
  11. with all due respect bopeep, Tell that to that minister who got arrested for holding a Bible study in his home. Tell that to the kid who got sent home from school for biting a pop tart into a shape of a gun, or the kindergartener who got detention for bring a lego gun to school, or the to school who had a 14 year old arrested for wearing a pro NRA shirt (whatever happened to freedom of speech, and the second amendment) that to Roderick Scott, who got arrested because while attempting to stop a robbery he got attacked by 3 (not 1, 3) teens and ended up shooting one. Were living in a world, where whats right is considered wrong-and people get arrested and in trouble all the time, for stupid stuff. So the argument "if your not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about" holds absolutly no weight at all. To the government, if your a christian, conservative, and own firearms, your automatically a terrorist. And even besides the point-its none of their business what I do in my own backyard-I have a right to privacy
  12. yes. and its fun. my tree house has free wifi. and no, Im not sharing.
  13. walk-your ignoring some things here, and thats to obey the authority placed above us. According to the law, copying anything that is copyrighted without the permission of the copyright holder, is theft, pure and simple. And that, is also against Gods laws. And using it to "spread" the gospel, is a false argument-especially in the US. Bibles are easily, easily obtainable, most churches give them away, you can walk into any hotel and walk away with the gideon Bible there (they have no problems with this they will just put another one there) and theyre sold a dime a dozen, there are also, several, free, Bible programs you can download free, such as E-sword, you can get them on your phone etc. Keep in mind, people who are making Bibles, they got mouths to feed to, and while many of them would never press charges, its still a sin, to steal from them. Theft is theft, if the Bible is copyrighted, buy it or seek permission before making any copys. After all, it ruins your testimony, if the Bible you email someone you stole off the internet. That doesnt spread the gospel at all-you spread the gospel, you are the best way to do it, and if you do it by breaking the law, your ruining everything that book stands for. Fact is, there is absolutly no good reason to ever, make a copy of a copyrighted Bible, especially in the US. there are numerous, legal, uncopyrighted and freeware Bibles out there that you can obtain free of charge, and legally, without having to steal a copy off of piratebay.
  14. My issue with them, isnt what they want to use them for know persay-I can see where they can be extremely beneficial to law enforcement, and for Search and rescue. If a local police force were to use one to say, find a lost hiker, or track down a pedofile on the loose, I wouldn't have an issue with them. But trusting these things to the feds-who have a history of abusing power, I do have an issue with-especially if theyre up 24/7 spying on me all the time. We already hear about stupid stuff like people getting kicked out of school for praying-this gives the government the ability to regulate you in your own back yard, and I quite frankly, don't need that.
  15. ha! I would so buy a license. Anyone care to join me for a drone hunting trip in colorado?
  16. last I checked if you dont got money to do anything you dont got money to do anything . . .
  17. he should just give me best answer. I was technically, the first one to say the state of franklin
  18. No, hes right-green county tennessee, close to the nolichucky river and near the community of limestone. It wasn't tennessee then, it was known as the state of franklin, so to be technical, it was the state of franklin, but it became tennessee, so onelight is correct. Nope he was born in the 4 years the state was Franklin, with its own Governor, militia, and constitution. It could not convince the other 13 states it should remain, and only lasted four years,
  19. yes, he felt it needed saying, obviously, not because poor martin was this innocent hapless soul, but because it furthered Obamas agenda. If Obama had honestly cared, he would have either not saying anything at all, or urging people not to riot and to respect the law. the law said zimmerman was innocent-its time to move on.
  20. Thats a good point matt, because even though the jury found zimmerman innocent-hes now going to have to watch his back for the rest of his life, because half the nation wants him dead.
  21. some wish it had. . . with that being said I dont wish that at all. But he should be tried and sent to jail. And for the record, that may have been obama 35 years ago. People do grow up. But obviously, Obama didnt challenge and then beat up, someone for following him.
  22. I don't think so. Even Jesus went to a wedding for no other reason then to go. I think, though, that while God allows us to go out and have fun-but He also expects us to glorify Him with everything that we do-whether it be having a BBQ at a friends house, shooting clay pigeons at the range, or a nice weekend of fishing we should let His love shine through-we should invite Christ to come have fun with us.
  23. should we sue other christians? no. but that is a lousy excuse to take advantage of other christians to. As christians we need to treat each other with respect.
  24. it depends on the book, and if its from piratebay, I would automatically assume its "pirated" If its any translation except the KJV I would assume its pirated (illegal) and even if its the KVJ, if its anything more then the KJV (study notes and what not) I would assume its pirated.
