First problem. We didn't get to see the lady walking beforehand, and its easy to "fake" a shorter leg once sitting. Second problem, why did the person doing it, feel the need to keep telling God more, and more, when it wasn't "long enough" Thats not how any of the Biblical healings happenned-Jesus, or the disciple, said be healed, and they were healed, or go and do this, and be healed, and they were healed, no one had to tell Jesus how to do it, and they were always healed perfectly, and the final problem, Biblically, there was never a mistake in the healing. If you watch, according to the prayer, they made the right food grow to long and had to have the left grow to match. Any healing made by God-wouldn't have experienced that problem. Even the person doing the praying, is praying to God like Gods some kind of genie-telling God to "heal" the person and how to do it, over and over again. Thats not how we are to pray, thats not how we see Jesus or any of His disciples praying in the Bible.

some people see conspiracys in everything and think everything is a conspiracy-it wouldn't matter who was perpetrating the attack, its obviously the government doing it, and using islam as the fall guys.

as an eagle scout, I am deeply disturbed by this, its sad seeing the organization go downhill like this. I have long had respect for this organization, it has always taught boys good morals, leadership, survival skills, and good manners, and its sad seeing them starting to surrender the things that made it so good.

it was a light hearted attempt at humor spoken without much thought. Was it appropriate? no. But, its also something we have all done, at one time or another, so we should extend said person the same leeway we would like and forgive and forget.

The problem with this line of thought, is the mark of the beast has to be a worldwide event-not a localized one. So even if this is passed, it would be a localized thing-not a worldwide, and henceforth, not the mark of the beast.

the insurance companys arnt the only reason, to say that speaks of a lack of understanding. They may play a part, but theyre not the sole reason. Least not the health insurance. There are a lot of things that contribute it-greed on the part of the doctors, health insurance, and lously malpractice suits-you really think that if you sue a doctor, hes going to have to pay for that law suit out of his own pockets? no hes not, he or she has something called malpractice insurance-which pays the law suit. and every time someone sues a doctor, the malpractice insurance goes up-and the doctor doesn't take that out of his paycheck, he instead hikes his rates to cover the increase, and likewise, all the other doctors, who didn't even do anything, now have to raise their rates to cover the malpractice insurance. There are a lot of contributing factors, you can't blame them all on one thing.

I think your taking that all out of context, why would God say hey you believers should know the time here, and then turn around and say no one will know? the answer is He wouldn't You can be mindful of the times, without setting the date. Being mindful of the signs, is a lot different then setting a date. Some things are obvious, world moving toward one world government etc. However, some things, like the stuff in that link, have nothing to do with the Bible-that link is 100% astrology, with bible verses wildly thrown in to make it seem credible, and it assigns a date,something the Bible is clear is a complete waste of time.

I wouldnt count on it-one would think onelight, after all the other "wrong dates" that have come and gone people would stop believing these hoaxes.

To a point I agree jade, to many translations can cause confusion, with that being said, I often like to compare translations side by side, studying them as well as having a english/greek/hebrew guide nearby to. Makes for some really solid research

No I haven't. I don't keep up much with the translations anymore, I tend to prefer the KJV or the NASB myself, good solid literal reading, though if your looking for one thats easier to read, from my studying the ESV (english standard version) seems to be pretty solid and easier to read.

I agree with tinky here-a lot of astrology, and mans opinions of scripture. Very loose connections, some even stretching. I would classify this site as another "false prophet" and again, posted in the wrong forum-it should be in prophecy.
