Not offended damo just pointing out the obvious. Gdemoss, a 45 acp with a 15 round mag is just as safe as a 38 with 6. Point 1. Point two guns arent just crime deterrants theyre corrupt government deterrents, without them theres not much stopping anyone from bringing those mass graves here. Point 3 you should double check you ballistics-a 38 special will certainly kill a man if you hit them in the right spot-but it wont take a man off his feet. And if our government falls and we face invasion, then your going to want large mags and rounds powerful enough to penetrate body armor.

I wasnt going to do anymore non christmas shootings, but In light of the shootings recently, theres a lot of people hurting, and I came across this video, and its touching and I think it does a wonderful job showing the light through the darkness, and I pray it can bring at least a small amount of comfort to those hurting, so please share with your friends. The answer to the first question is,everyone who hasnt been convicted of a felony, especially those convicted of a felony with a gun. Called the second amendment. The second question is, you cant. no one can. Even if you totally outlawed guns, you cant. Its already been proven, banning guns does NOT remove guns from the hands of the criminal. You can only be prepared for the next one. The best way to be prepared? carry a gun. If more people carried guns-even in our schools, mass shootings would no longer be mass shootings, because the vast majority of mass shootings, are on soft targets that shoot back. Once they start shooting back, the few that are dumb enough to try it, will turn from "26 dead in school shooting" to "wild man with a gun stopped cold in his tracks before hurting children" real fast.

your bring out a good point here nebula, in this case, it wasnt a legal gun owner, it was a stolen gun-existing gun control laws worked in that he couldnt get a gun legally. And taking the guns from those of us who can legally buy them-wont change anything, they will still find some way to illegally obtain them. And even if they dont, they will just find an alternate way to kill people. You know, I was just seeing this on the O-reilly show (wasnt actually watching it just got about a 30 second glimpse) and I heard someone saying that in the past 20 years, handgun sales have gone up drastically, and violent crimes using handguns have gone down. Please dont misquote me, I didnt say violent crime has gone down-just that the number of crimes using handguns have gone down. I dont know how accurate the study is, nor all the other factors involved, but its something to think about. The fact is, when a lion, tiger, cougar, or other predator, goes after its prey, it rarely, if ever, goes after the big bull at the head of the herd. Why? because its big strong, and can fight back, and the chances of taking it down without getting the pulp beaten out of them are to great. No, they go for the young, the weak, and the infirm. In that sense, humans are the same way-notice, all these shootings lately? where do they take place? in dark movie theatres, where no one can shoot back. in schools, where its garenteed no one can shoot back. almost all the mass shootings that have taken place in the last few decades-if not all-have taken place in gun free zones. Why? no one to shoot back. What the media ISNT telling you about the CT shooting-is that the shooter, did not stop, until the police arrived. Once someone showed up that could shoot back, he ended it. There was a church shooting in colorado a few years back, guy came in, and started shooting, thinking it would be easy-and a security gaurd, hired by the church, returned fire, wounding the man. The man, realizing that his prey was shooting back, commited suicide. These people who would mass kill-they think like predators, they would just as soon attack those that arnt innocent. Now notice Im not counting any gangland shootings when I say mass shootings. Gangland shootings, first off, are rarely mass murders-they dont walk into schools and mow everyone down-and 2, they are usually two sided affairs.

Baptists have no centralized governing body. Anyone can essentially stick "baptist" on their church sign, whether they adhere to any semblance of baptist doctrine. Baptists, unlike Lutherans (for example), have no Synod that manages their affairs. . There are currently several different denominations (westboro is NOT a Baptist denomination, they are a cult) that have genuine baptist traditions like American Baptists, Southern Baptists, Northern Baptists, General Baptists, Free Will Baptists, Landmark Baptists and so on. all the baptists you just listed each have their own governing body, seperate from the others. But your right, anyone can slap baptist on the name of their church, it doesnt mean theyre all the same group. Southern baptists rarely get along with american baptists, for instance.

Im going to add this, australia, right now, is a free country. That is a true statement. Australia, doesnt allow guns. True statement. All power but Gods corrupts. Also a true statement. So right now, Australias a free country, thats not to say it always will. With all due respect-I get tired of hearing australians saying "we dont guns and look how good we are" I got news for you, just because your governments good now and you have a voice now, doesnt mean you always will, sooner or later, your government-just like the USes, will turn, and then there will be nothing you can do about it. Im not saying that to be mean-Im saying that because its a fact-every single democracy or republic in the history of mankind-has turned corrupt, and ended in a dictatorship, and then conquest by another country. Its an endless cycle. I know your happy with where you live-but its not perfect. Neither is America, Americas far from perfect, so dont think Im grand standing here-just pointing out a few observations.

your assuming that all baptist churches are controlled by a common government. Completly not true. Just because they have the word "baptist" in the name does not mean they are affiliated with any other baptist church-there are lots of baptist denominations, the most popular, and probably the largest baptist denomination is the southern baptists-westboro is not associated with these. Then there are the american baptists, which tend to be a bit liberal, then there are the free will baptists, which are armenian, and I could probably name another half dozen different baptist denominations. And then there are thousands of baptist churches that arnt affiliated with any other denomination of baptist-and I do believe westboro is one of those, they are their own government so to speak, they are not aligned with any of the major baptist denominations. As far as they are concerned, they are really giving a bad name to baptist churchs in general. They may "think" theyre doing the right thing, but in reality theyre doing the work of satan, and I wish someone would shut them down.

yes, of course lets blame the gun, taking guns away from criminals will stop people from killing people. While were at it, lets make murder illegal. Wait, it already is, people who kill people dont care about the law, what makes you think theyre going to care about gun laws? and even if you somehow take the gun out of their hand (which is next to impossible) I got news for you, killers dont need guns. hitler used cyanide gas. The taliban used box cutters and airplanes. Timothy Mcveigh used fertilizer. Taking guns out of the hands of the innocent will not cut down on violence. It will just take away our ability to defend ourselves and give an already corrupt government more control.

Guy probably suffered a heart attack after being hit with the stun gun, happens more often then many like to admit. Coulda been a drug O/D as well, and not even related. Time will tell. its not, but it still helps learn. For example, my mom made me read oliver twist as a child (it was required and I was homeschooled) I hated that book, I have never read it again. But, I also dont regret reading it-it was a difficult book for me to read, but it helped me learn and understand gave me a more rounded education I think. The classics are great at that, and I think everyone should venture out of their comfort zone at times when reading.

to me, christmas is about Jesus, not about santa. they will know their gifts didnt come from a fat man coming down the chimney, and thats what I will teach them. Once they get older, I dont mind if they enjoy christmas movies with santa in them (like the santa clause 1, 2 and 3) and stuff like that, but they will know that santas not real-I want my kids to believe in a saviour, not a jolly man riding around in a sled. Im not saying santas evil by any means-but its just not what I want to be teaching my kids,

I understand different people have different tastes-but on the same note, reading different stuff can help you learn, especially the classics. If one doesnt like fiction thats fine, but I think its beneficial toread a few, esecially the classicsbecause it widensthe imagination so to seak.
