I dont think all gays are pedofiles, and to suggest such morninglory, isnt an accurate representation. I have had a few friends over the years, who were gay, but would never hurt a child-in fact they were more likely to beat a pedofile to a pulp, then to ever harm a child. There are I think, 2 classes of homosexuals who want into the BSA-the ones who simply want to force others to accept them, and those who, yes, are interested in the boyscouts-perhaps they have an "adopted" child they want to be in the scouts. now thats a whole different topic, but just because they want their kid in the boyscouts, or want to help teach a merit badge, does not mean they have less then wholesome purposes for being there. Dont get me wrong, im against BSA allowing gays in, but I dont hold that just because theyre gay they must be after the kids. That would be a completly untrue, and uneducated, statement.

Heres the thing. Technology, in and of itself, is not evil. The microchip, is simply a tool, something that can be used for good or bad, its not a sign of judgement at all, what may or may not be a sign of judgement, is what people use it for. Are RFID chips used in pets? yes, my dog even has one. Could they be used in humans? the technology is there, yes. However, Im going to put a couple things in perspective. Number 1 there are no current plans to put them in humans and track them this way. Its not in Obamacare, thats a farce, and there are no other bills out there, even with the UN, that suggests we use them. Point number 2. Even if the US were to implement RFID chips in human, its NOT the mark of the beast. From my understanding, the mark of the beast is something that will be worldwide. We as christians, get so focused on prophecy, but so focused, on our immediate world, and we forget theres an entire world out there outside the US. While the US, right now, certainly has the capability and technology, to implement RFID chips in everybody, there are literally dozens of countrys, that are nowhere near capable of doing such a task, and are a LONG ways off from doing so. In fact, you would have to have a one world government implemented first, before one could even feasibily, think about implementing such a system. Point number 3. Correct me if Im wrong, but the mark of the Beast, when it comes, is something that cannot be removed. An RFID chip, can be removed with something as brutal as a pocketknife, or fried with a electric shock. So, in my mind, that makes RFID chips an unlikely candidate for the mark of the beast. Point 4. There is no reason to live in fear of technology. Whatsoever. Its just a tool. Yes, a tool used by evil, but its also used by good, but even if it was, we serve an almight God, and in the end, our God wins and we will spend eternity living with him. We need to remember Gods promise to us in the Bible, that we dont have to live in fear, there is nothing to be afraid of. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So instead of being afraid of the things of this world, and running away from them, we need to be running towards the world to reach the unsaved before its to late. And technology is there, why not use it to help reach the lost, instead of avoiding it.

For the same reason, at least when my local troop goes on a campout, if theres any women leaders that come, they are not the only ones, and they are provided completly seperate sleeping arrangements. Its not that gay people are pedofiles, its just called A: remove the temptation and B: even if they would never hurt a child, flee any appearance of evil.

I will say this about boyscouts, the way they set up, if the troops is run properly, you will never have to worry about your son being alone on a camping trip with a single adult leader, of any gender, there is a two adult minimum for any scouting activity, if the troop cant get two or more adults, they are supposed to cancel the trip. Most troops, if one of the adult leaders is a female, try to have at least a third.

As an eagle scout, I find this news disturbing. I hope our local troops take a stand against it, or my kids will never be a part of it. I may even stop admitting Im an eagle.

If so, then keep your distance from him. If not, then just ignore the comment, but if he makes another, then start distancing oneself.

I would also say, if say a man divorces his wife, but his wife trys to keep the marriage strong and doesnt leave, but the husband divorces her anyway, I would say that it wouldnt be a sin if the women remarries later on, since she tried everything to keep the relationship strong.
