If this is the bakery in Oregon there is a lot more to it. First the couple actually were ok with it at first and he makes other cakes for them like birthday and such. the mother of one of them came back in threw a fit and she is the one that spured on the law suit. the question is if it were a muslim owned resturant would they serve alcohol which is against that religion and if they didn't under religious terms would anyone complain or would a jewish caterer serve unkosher foods. Also the state of Oregon really had a lot to do with harrasment and the protests

By the way I get told how bad a parent I am all the time can't tell you how defeating that is. When other people actually have seen him explode from nothing their tune seems to change.

Having a child that is a problem I have been slow to blame the parent. Mine has mental health issues and brain functioning issues. If you were around him 5 minutes you would know something was off. Now i don't excuse his behavior and sometimes i feel like i am the only one that is trying to teach him there are consequences. Here the police can't do anything until he is an adult which is in 6 months. I sometimes feel i am the only one concerned about that.

I live in a ranching community that is really laid back. During calving season they are late or can't come. It would be really odd for people to have a locked door on sunday.

I worked for a man that believed this. He only believed you should read from the pauline epistals onward it was hard to have discussions about scripture cause he didn't understand the old testament at all

I have the need to do things with my hands or have something going on in the background so i can listen. I would crochet but people don't like that in church. I could doodle but once again people assume that means I am not listening. My pastor knows I need to be sort of pre occupied with something in order to listen, it is the people who assume and are rude before they know what is up. I also have my bible on my kindle it is easier to move around then an actual bound book. I just wouldn't jump to conclusions about what people are doing or why. My pastor has a bible on his phone and during sunday school he used it then got a nasty letter the next day of course there wasn't a name so he could explain. Pat they have done studies of the brain of kids with adhd and the problem is the brain isn't stimulated enough so fidgiting and noises or like me needing to do something with their hands helps stimulate so they can listen or keep on task.

I have had 2 live births and 2 babies that died. The truth is the last baby almost killed me so if i didn't do something I would be dead and there would be children without a mother is that ok with you. Sometimes God lets things happen inspite of how badly it will turn out.

I have known a couple that did the hyphen name but they both took it. They did it as a woman's lib thing and stated that they expected any child that they had would do the same, I pictured great great grandchildren with long long names.

I read a science article that showed how wind turbines (the huge ones you see in europe off the coast for instance) are changing wind currents around the world, which will cause greater harm in the long run. Another Oregon plan. I pass by them often, and they aren 't that efficent.

My pastor has an app on his phone and during sunday school used it. He received a letter saying how bad it was playing with his phone during sunday school. Problem was it wasn't signed we have a small church I thought everyone knew he used his phone anyway people don't seem to want to ask questions to see what it was he was doing.

I am having a hard time with this whole thread. First you say you want encouragement but does that mean you just want us to say you are right and never point out where you could possibly be wrong. I have 4 children 2 adopted and 2 biological i lost 2 also. I wouldn't know if you are being lead by God or not, however, seems as if you are so wanting a child that you don't want to see if maybe you are wrong. I didn't want my last child i was older my husband was abusive and its dangerous for me to get pregnant. My husband didn't let me use birthcontrol and my daughter and i are lucky to be alive. i guess what i am saying is that he felt like you did and i don't think anyone was led by God it was selfish desire and almost dieing really didn't matter as much to him as having that child. so maybe reexamining your motives and really listening to your husband is in order. i don't know just my opinion.
