I donot question that the HS is still here and his gifts are still active today. However what I do question is whether the "modern" Tongues is the scriptural tongues. At pentacost everyone heard in there own Language. I see 2 forms of tongues biblically. The first use of the word tongues in the Bible is referring to speaking different languages, the second use of tongues is a Godly language that when spoken ALL hear in there own language. Sheepish, This is the best paragraph in this entire thread. Sometimes we cannot take the time to spend days weeks or months with these people. What if the people you are "working on" now, do not accept Christ today and he returns tomorrow? Have you done them justice? Have you given them the opportunity to recieve Christ? Have you let them know yet that they need Christ? Have you let them know that there just reward for Sin is Eternal Damnation, BUT God has paid that price for them, so they donot have to Die the second death, they can repent and turn from there sins, accept the precious gift of Salvation through Christ. Honestly as I believe I have already suggested to your GF and soon to be Fiance, she needs to seperate herself from you until she has her faith straight. And you brother need to seek the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. For without him you will surely perish. Also if you were to lead your children down the path of UnRightousness you will be held accountable for that at the time of judgement. Osama has not hte resources to act on his threats right now. Even if he did, getting his goonies onto US soil right now is no easy feat. His operatives that are here are already being watched. Remember his last threat was that any Red states would have attacks against them worse then 9/11 but nothing has happened yet. And there was ALOT of red states ... These terrorists think they can make idle threats and use scare tactics to dictate how our country will be run, they claim that if we leave them alone they will leave us alone. But then if we look at the WTC attacks, we WERE leaving them alone before that. What we do now Osama and his band of radicals brought upon themselves. The U.S. is not the paper lion he banked on us being. We were the sleeping lion but when he came to our land and killed our civilians that was like sticking this sleeping lion in the backside with a hot poker. We woke up and we were not happy. Now that he is running with his tail between his legs, he still tries to act like he has some control or some gorund to stand on. But we know the ground he stands on is not a strong foundation, it s more like quicksand, and eventually we will find him hiding in a bunker just like the other rat. I will not live in fear of this man and his regime, my family will not live in fear of this regime, my friends will not live in fear of htis regime. Az, If it is Evidence you truly seek, I would suggest reading a couple of books. "the Case for Christ" and "The Case for a Creator" both are written by a reporter and former Aetheist whom was seeking the Evidence of jesus Christ and Creationism. The Book is not always very detailed on some points, but also provides you with many other useful sources to further your research from. God Bless, Dave

Just for a differing point of view here. First of all who are we to assume that Earth is the Only planet God decided to put life on? Who are we to assume he had to tell us if he did? He is GOD he can do whatever he chooses. The key here folks is not to get so hung up on a yes or no, but to accept that God does everything he does for a reason and that whether there is life on another planet or not does not in any way change my faith. You see I know my God is great and I know my God can do Anything he chooses to. So who are we to assume this is the only planet he put life upon? Furthermore how do we know this is the first time he has conducted the "Human Experiment" what happens after the 1000 year reign? Will God do it all over again? The point here folks... Who are we to question God? One day we will know all he has in store for us, until then I will just keep watching the clouds for the Coming of our Saviour. God Bless, Dave
