Stuff like that just won't fly here; which makes no sense when every 'star' you see in the news (the women, I mean) is walking about barely covered. true true MG....I think what really bothers folks is when they see the objects in question being used for their original purpose.

I think retirement as we understand it evolved out of the industrial revolution. That being the concept that after having served a specified number of years or reached a certain age, a person is then entitled to receive compensation and enjoy a less stressful life. LOL...even as I was typing this the word fairytale kept popping into my head. So, that having been said.....NO....retirement is not a scriptural idea, but I'm ill prepared to justify or support my position with scripture.

No is the answer I get from the folks I know, there is a condition, you must believe in YHWH and keep the commandments that apply to you. Of course the many orthodox believe one needs to convert to Judaism. Thing is at the end of the age whether the orthodox or anyone else wants to believe God is going to bring all of His children the whole of Israel back together. I would suggest if you are interested in knowing what Judaism believes go to Judiasm 101 or other sites like that. Personally I think Judaism is not what Yeshua endorsed but then again I don't believe He came to start anything new but to restore His children to the right ways. A few more questions...if Yashua doesn't endorse judaism....what does He endorse?? By His children, who do you mean exactly?? And finally, what are the " right ways " you speak of ??

OK...first let me say I'm not looking for an argument. Can this belief be found in scripture from the OT, or does it appear in other writings.

This is a huge precedent. This signifies to the world that Islam and it's followers must subject itself to the laws of the land.

I just crunched the same numbers and, next year, your age + your birth year will add up to 112. I'm still not getting it. Well it's just one of those math things MG.....I don't understand it either really...just kinda cool and spooky

As tragic as this is....there is some good news. If the article is quoted correctly, the newspaper used the term" babies". The people responsible for these illegal deaths are being charged with " first degree murder ". My puny brain see's this as a very clear message to a certain segment of the medical community that they may not do as they please, and will be held accountable for their actions under the law. I also see this as a declaration that 2nd and 3rd trimester babies are a recognized life , independent of the mother, and are afforded protection under the law.

I read 2 separate articles concerning this,,,and an important part was left off I think.....he did say that non-believers were not his brothers and sisters...but that he wanted them to be....

Some people join an organization, sit back and wait to be spoon fed...others get involved, ask questions and strive for excellence, the latter usually do better and have a more better experience. As far as who's job it is to know who...given the fact that God already knows everything...it would be our job to get to know Him. So here you are...a christian...and now you find yourself in front of the Throne...well, God does not break promises so you know your not going to hell....what does that leave.....well....a very detailed ( and for some an embarrassing ) job review.
