  1. Don't be sorry that was great! The truth.
  2. Not all all. Good observation. This as other parables is a teaching for us, keep in mind it wasn't God who just realized tares were among the wheat, it was the workers: 27"The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' You see, until the judgment, both will grow together. It teaches that both the good and bad shall be mixed together in the church, and that those who are faithful believers should arm ourselves with patience and constancy. It teaches constancy because we need to keep on our guard to keep the church pure, so, those tares do not spoil all.
  3. What gives you the idea you cant tell who is a tare, either individually or as a whole? The tares are evident before the harvest, they are just commanded to let them grow together until the harvest. V: 27"The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' 28"And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?' It looks pretty obvious to me. But we must be careful as to call a tare amongst the wheat, some seem obvious, but there is always that smothering wick, or smoking flask. V: 29"But he said, 'No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. But, God knows who they are, and He will take care of the separating process at harvest. V: 30'Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn."'"
  4. The rapture? What rapture? Yea right, what Rapture? Where does the Bible use the word "Rapture"? The Bible dosent use the word Rapture. Nor does it teach a pre-mill Rapture.
  5. The rapture? What rapture? Yea right, what Rapture?
  6. No, the difference between Jesus and humans was that He was not born of Adam as we are; but of the Holy Spirit. That is why He did not have a sinful nature. Actually son of man means son of Adam. Either jesus was a human being or he wasn't, and he was. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to follow him. Jesus is not the Son of Adam. Question, you you believe Jesus is God, or just a man?
  7. Wow, talk about a twist on words. Please, reread what I wrote, and try to understand why you are so angry with it. You don't have to believe it, or agree, but, please, show me where it is wrong by scripture. If you cannot back your understanding with scripture, then, it is plain and simple it is your own, not scriptures, and therefore means nothing. Just your own opinion. Well Dennis, I started this thread and thats my statement and questions that Tigz is answering...so what part of my post did you write?? I don't see any anger in what Tigz is saying, but that may be because we have talked in chat. And I think it just wonderful that what I wrote has made her think. Blessings Brother Yea, I wasn't trying to be angry.... I was just thinking out loud in response to what Hunter had posted?? I don't have a like scripture to back up what I'm saying and never said I did... I was just saying ..... sorry come across angry... not my intention at all. And, Dennis with all due respect, I have no idea who you are but I did not say I was twisting your words.... I simply said what I thinking was a play on words .. not what you had said.... I am on Jade's radar .... I can't disrespect people.... so again, I apologize for not clearly specifying what I meant, but everything I said had to do with what I thought and what I felt.... nothing to do with what your belief's are or anyone else's for that matter.... I can't tell someone what they believe?? No problem, sorry for the misunderstanding.
  8. Yup, I've sometimes wondered whether or not he drinks a lot of Red Bull before he speaks. lol. I'm not a big fan of Osteen, and I do not like to hear him speak. I did listen to several of his speeches before I made my conclusion, however. I personally have never heard him present the Gospel from the Bible, and therefore would rather not hear him. Although I'm barely in my 30's, I'm a bit more of a traditionalist- unlike most of my peers. I like to listen to old sermons. (sermonaudio.com is a great resource for me). Old sermons are great. They were longer also.
  9. I would to if I had his money.

Blessings Brother I just commented on her words of how I twisted scripture, that all. Usually when someone does this they have something to prove why they say that, usually, but sometime it is in ignorance. I was just curious if she can refute it and prove differently with scripture, that all. i think you or her would ask the same, wouldn't you not? Hey, after all, I am interested in learning also.
  11. I'll be waiting for your correct interpretation of scripture on this subject.
  12. Ok. But I still don't get it. Why weren't we each individually given the choice Adam had? Adam is who God picked to represent the human race. You will have to ask God for a better answer then that.

  14. Yes, I can relate, some explanation can be a bit confusing. Not that your confused with their explanation, but, their explanation may be a bit confused. Curious, was it explained that the sin on your soul was an actual sin? Another words, was it something you actually committed? This is not possible, since before you were born you couldn't commit an actual sin. But we do commit sins because we are sinners, now this is where an understanding of "original sin" can come into view, as scripture teaches it. Original sin does not teach you had a sin on your soul when you were born, it teaches you were born sinful, which was inherited by our original parents, since they lost their original righteousness at the fall, they no longer have it (original righteousness), and since they do not have it, it cannot be passed on to their posterity. But what they do have after the fall is a "fallen nature", and this is what is passed down to all of Adams posterity. So you are not born with a sin on your soul, you are born spiritually dead. Hence, "original sin." Ok, I will try and explain: When Adam was created, he was created in the image of God, "original righteousness," because he was created with righteousness. Adams reason was subject to God, and his will was subject to his reason. All his affections and appetites were subject to his will. There was no rebellion, only harmony. Man's moral perfection in which he resembled God, (created in His image) included his knowledge, righteousness and holiness. At the fall, mankind lost this. Now when we are in Christ, we are being conformed, renewed to that true knowledge............and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him-- Col3:10 And, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Eph 4:24. Christ is the new Adam. In Adam, we are all dead, original sin, in Christ, the new Adam, we are made alive. 1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive Now in contrast to Adam before the fall to after the fall. And how we, Adams posterity, reflect it. Before the fall Adam (created with original righteousness) walked and talked with God, he did not feel guilt and shame but was in harmony with God and His ways, holiness. After the fall, Adam had an immediate sense of guilt and shame, and he desired to hide himself from God. We are all a witness to this internally. Scripture plainly (explicitly) teaches this.
  15. From the others you mentioned, I'll take Charles Stanley. I seen him preach in person up in Massachusetts.
