This may sound irrelevant now ... but where did all the Christians side/vote when the second term for the office of Presidency came up for Bill Clinton? Seems to me with all the Christians living in the USA, Clinton's second term could of/should have been defeated.... Point is.... We need to stand up for our values. When we see someone like John Kerry (who by the way keeps flip flopping on certain issues) who seems to be in total disregard for life and adheres to certain immoral ideals, red flags should to go up! Some may feel that George Bush isn't much better! At least he trys to obey God's word... and has some moral values. I also agree, John Kerry scares me to death!

O Boy, Satan is really having a ball isn't he? So much fun for him to get a stab at mockin' God and his children. It is sad to see our youth getting caught up in seeing this stuff. Wouldn't be wonderful if Hollywood would see the value (spiritually as well as in dollars) in making films that are healthy and God-based on a serious side? Ho hum... wishful thinkin'

No truer words have ever been spoken! Today folks get so caught up on makin' lots of money so they can have everything at once-- right now! (Back in my day it took years to get all the stuff folks are strivin' to get in lesser time!) I feel that if we first focus on being content with what the good Lord has provided for us, and looked around to seek how we can be more lovin' to our neighbors.... that would be a step in true happiness! :hug:

I heard today on Fox Cable News one of the visiting commentators say the US government plans to release them all (to USA Public and the Arab World). Their intent for doing so is to prove to the world that we're not hiding anything and that we won't tolerate such inhuman activities!

Hmm... I don't particularly care for your (J.S.) language or description of someone else's character. And as for your description of happiness... being geared around to sex as a determining factor for "love" it's off base. You will run into some hardships...maybe not now, or in the form of a mugging, but you will if you continual on like this! And being that you're in a Christian forum, I am presuming that you know something of God.... therefore, you know your kind of lifestyle isn't what he wants for you! And yes... at times I will even tell them what to do. My role never changes... I am a mother (their mother). Someday when you become a parent... you will understand. Hmm.... I have cable too. Only have it because where I live you can't pick up anything on just a regular antenna. I get aprox 75 channels.... and only watch about 5 of them: *Fox Cable News *Discovery Channel *History Channel *Animal Planet *CBS (for local news) We been grippin' cause we don't get any Christian channels. If we want Christian we have to buy the next package deal up that costs alot more than what we're paying already ($52.00)! Yup... Sounds like a good idea to get rid of it.
