Job reminds me of the emotional adversity that one can experience as a Christian. Notice that though his comforters were later rebuked for their ill intent, they were still constrained of God to speak many truths. this reminds me of the verse that says, "all things work together for the good of those who Love God, and who are the called accordiing to His purpose. Occasionally I recieve guidance even though the tv and everday life. I think things are programmed to acknowledge Godly wisdom when it its present, and honour is give where honour is due.

I noticed how Jesus after being betrayed by Judas, denied by Peter, deserted by the other disciples not to mention the crowd who he had been moved with compassion toward, still loved them and us after His resurrection. The Love was, is , is to come, still consistent unto this present day and forever. This is the SPIRIT we need to be agreed with

When the due parties are duely contrite, it can so satisfy the offence that there may be no recollection of the offence. When this happens it is most pleasant, with a genuine experience to the offence forgotten, overtaken by the 'joy' of reconciliation.

Thanks for your replies I'll try to be clearer.

xox_april, except for any slips of communication, it sounds as though your sister is sensitively protective of her "new" love and is seeking a 'clean' honourable distanceing from what sounds like a 'strong' family.

I realise some Jew are yet to recognise the Christian faith as we would hope. Yet these things are included in prophecy and have certain unfoldings that we'd do well to familiarise with. We are nevertheless encouraged in the Old an New Testament to yet esteem the Jews duely, despite any hostility or rejection, because Romans tell us that they will be blinded in part until the fulness of the Gentiles have come in. Israel's establishing in the earth, as I understand it is a top priority, like an important part of worship, and with promises of prosperity acquainted with it. Maybe many don't understand this and need things explained simply. That the very Spirit of Life and Grace that the whole world has benefitted from since creation, is 'vitally' associated with this excessively persecuted people. There claims to the land promised is 'divinely decreed'. This adds a special dimension into world morality and world politics. These(Jews) may be warring a thankless , misunderstood war for the quality of Life we are all taking for granted. Even though prophecy is in process we can still address issues and inconsistencies as is needful. Jesus rebuked a few people even through prophecy was processing then. Thank God for another present day manifestation of His thankless sacrifice..If what I percieve is right.

What I mean is when you value you faith and your family alot, and then the world comes along as though to steal, kill, and destroy. I know we're warned of it but it's amazing how typical it can be. The thing that hurts is when it's family and close friends who are used of the devil. Christian need to be careful as well to not flow as someone elses adversity by training our senses to discern good and evil. There needs to be wisdom declared to principalities and powers about these things because they help persecution. Well, general processes of decay really, because those are the ways of the world, so it's a matter of faith on our part, because thats what they respect especially if they are dull of hearing. They need to be told that humans are not to operatate so carnally its not jungle law for humans, we are called to glory and virtue.

Has anyone experienced their marriage or family oppressed because of their Christian Lifestyle? If so what were ones responses? It can be traumatic. I feel some of the pressures can be first of all our degree of submission and discipline in our Christian development, but then there are the 'expectations and demands' of the unbelieving extended family, friends, traditions, culture and generally the world generally. As I mentioned in another post, the things of faith are foolishness to unbelivers and this causes them to attempt to treat marriage like joke or zealously try to find alternative lifestyles to prove a point.

Many denominations emphasise certain seasons of Church development. This can be good for variety of style of worship in the church as long as it remains agreed with sound doctrine.

There were times in the past where I'd gotten overwelmed with issues and possibly demanding of sympathy, unknown to me then. Everywhere I went and even Christian Chatroom, probably unknown to them, felt cruel to me in my 'dying inside' state. I simply needed to have dealt with it otherwise and return with at least a more humble attitude. I then was thankful the Lord didn't let 'me' affect the on-going buoyancy of the others. Even though nothing is too difficult for God, he will not let us burden His church with more than they can bear, except He has equipped them to deal us. We'd probably have to go and pray first.

Why are marriages and families being attacked so heavily?
psalmone replied to a topic in General Discussion
Family, like other God associated institutions, is founded purely on 'Faith', and things of faith are foolishness to the world. -
I agree fully that Godly Order ought to establish. May this effect due to merit and genuine strength rather than the eye-service and lip-service that can endure too long in places where integrity is important. may we also be personally challenged in these things primarily. I believe things could be really good if we allow pessimisms to be redeemed toward the things of light. May God strengthen us in these things.

In response to the title, I felt to mention that I that there is as though a gulf between believers and unbelievers where debate is inappropriate. The Lord spoke of those who had not seen and yet believed as 'blessed'. That is what God is looking for, 'those who bear witness of the Life that is the Light of all men', namely a conviction that Jesus is Lord and saviour and the context of the whole of creation upon encountering the Gospel Message.

Men may have grades of the non-acceptability of sin, though God would require confession of all and of a contrite heart. Not all things are expedient because certain things are difficult to even to confess and some can be tormented of such for an extended time.

Greeting all! I was impressed to see how many followed Jesus all over the place in the gospel for wanting to be around such virtue. I believe we are to expect our Christian men to approach the same, in character and image, as they remain teachable of the Living Word. Every Christian is a potential champion as they abide in Christ and allow themselves to be transformed, even in a contemporary way I feel to add, to avoid the morbidity of dead religion(ouch). Relationships can again be a joyous fulfilling experience.

I have been living of-late in conditions inferior to that which I have known. The area I live in seems like a "ghost-town"(grrr) where the occult seems to be the norm(grrr). I've grown not to like it. There is a sense that area is acquainted with the full religious spectrum, though because faith is transcendant of such, they are yet wanting. Clarity of the "women in Christ benefits" is only some of the material I'd observed may be needed to answer the need for knowledge and solutions...and faith. What I significantly want to see ministered to, is situations like "when our Christian women are begrudged their liberty and Christian benefits". Also that they "and others" presented with the "hope of the gospel" may be "assured" in these issues, and that Christian lifestyle is "substantial", unlike the illigitimate "gains" of the occult/worldly inclined.

Thank you Biblicist for your valuable contribution ...and the others! Jackied, yes Its something like that I was saying, only to add an unction to it hopefully communicatedi n the Word. I think theres been a busybody expectation which has been an undertone over the years, where women were involved in death processings and judgement processings just through their traditional regular conversation(correct me if I am wrong), and something is calling that this ability be redeemed for the kingdom and benefiting of the things of light. There are alot of things that might need justifying according the the 'light that the darkness comprehended not'. Unbelievers cannot judge believers properly as 'he who is spiritual is judged of no man'it would take translated individuals to address Christian related issues.

OneLight, Thanks for your reply. I am saved and I thought I had explained the above simply enough. Some views I have encountered of late have challenged my understanding of what 'new creations' in Christ might mean with regards for what we may expect of women. For example the are some who only count the male status and have inconsistent views of women. Even women themselves don't always contend against such(not meaning for any problems),only flowing with the dominant influences both in the church and tradition, and this doesn't seem like how things ought to be. Men also so yield in this way and so it's not only an issue with women, though we have to apply this to our own roles. These lackings causes all kinds of strange discrepencies in the substance of present and future prospects and so wone hopes that maybe the correct vision might be made clear as it's encouraging all round.

Christian women are different from the not-yet redeemed. They, through the denying of themselves, enter into the benefits of the kingdom and of the heavenly vision. In so doing they are our fellow-hiers in Christ and empowered to deny the lesser values, ignorantly imputed on them through the aimless conduct of the fore-fathers and other cultures. The implications are revolutionary. Any thoughts? The reason for these thoughts are that there is a certain fight maybe in that area, where the believing women have something to say to their realm, related to the promises that are theirs, like standing for their credibilty and the family and the Christian related items in our lifestyle, that can be so assaulted in their validity by the world due to the ease of availabilty of some of the same in their non-restraint. This effects in them working alongside men toward that principled kingdom hope, that calls us to 'better days', rather than the confusion some have settled for(lets ask for solutions rather). I believe The Word is the 'software' that enabled the Hebrew women to be observed as 'more lively' than the Egyptian women (repectfully), in that they were acquainted with 'LIfe' the 'hope that maketh not ashamed','the Spirit of prophecy',' the Word of God' , 'the Anointing', 'the Blessing' as a vital unction around them....and 'Faithfulness'. Having said all that, it is important I think, that we make clear 'what we believe might constitute that future', so that we might again assure them(our women) with a founded, realistic vision of what can be as well as ourselves also being inspired.

All things lawful, but not expedient
psalmone replied to Ddavid from NC's topic in General Discussion
...yet we're not to use this liberty as an occasion for the flesh neither for malice. Another consideration is 'he who is spiritual(Christian!) is judged of no man'. -
I was prompted to respond the Pilgrim7's quote about the the Chuch being hijacked and about the the wolves and the the house churchs and the foolish virgins. The house church thing sounded good as im currently in a situation wondering about my community and what might suffice for the present spiritual challenges? Though after reading the other counsel I was reminded that God is yet in control, and that His Word won t return void, despite the various denominations many of whom have been faithful soldiers over the years, who I would like to discover honourable/faithful. I am quite pleased actually how the Word holds up among the media fluctuations and how there are answers for every condition of the living spectrum. May the Lords grace continue to embrace them in His protection. As for the hijacking thing, I think impossible! The Lords Church is as safe as His Word is true. I hope it encourages as I am also challenged to not worry for the Lord'S people unduely, That things are more sound than We may interpret. What do you think? As for the the house- church thing...lol It sounds good, though the accountabily- shy aspect of things... About the foolish virgins parable, that speaks to me of us needing to honour the quality of the 'power of that works within us' and refuse to let 'them' distract us from that which we love in the Lord.

The witness of Godly Order is very important. This is what must be sustained, hopefully not with straining but with Joy. When the people lose that sense of honour of God thats when they grope in darkness(scripture not readilly to mind). It is even what is required to 'want' to defend yourself, the Living Word being ALIVE. Godly Order substanciates the Heavenly Vision (in due context).
