  1. lol, I would not even have noticed until I read it. ?
  2. Jesus always made sure it was God His Father who received all the glory, not Himself.
  3. Female monk? I did not even know it gave such. Any way, that is great what they do, can you imagine the effect of people if we do all that in the Name of Jesus.
  4. Jesus' birthday candles Matthew 25:31 – 46 Cough, Cough, goes the girl sneeze, wheeze, goes the boy Stay away, they may be sick Go away, your no joy One candle is gone it has lost it's flick Because of our fear we stayed away from the sick Those people got what they deserved I'm now at peace, I am so glad For in jail they can rot 'Cause what they did made me so mad Candle number 2 flickered, then went out Because of the wind, and it's gail We were to happy, we were to glad Instead of bringing God's love to those in jail “I'm hungry, Do you have some food?” With longing in his eyes, his arm stretched out “I'm in a hurry, I'm late for church” “No time to stop, or to give him a handout” Candle number 3 is no longer burning, In keeping it lit, we did not succeed We were in a hurry, had no time to stop, Even the hungry, we failed to feed With parched lips, and a dry tongue, She asked for something to drink “I'm to busy” was the reply “You have two legs, find the sink” The fourth candle just died Because we did not think We were just to busy To give a simple little drink Yum, this Christmas meal sure is good I know that the neighbour is alone this day But Christmas is for family Everyone else can stay away Candle five just lost it's flame This flaming fire, had been blown 'Cause of our selfishness Christ's love was not shown They come to you, clothing ripped from off the street, there in your face You push them away, for they stink You run away, 'cause there in your space The last candle burns no more Yes, all the candles are out We didn't help those in need What Christmas is all about When we bring Jesus His birthday cake Will it be lit up, and bright Or when He looks down at His cake Will it be dark, the absence of light This Christmas, help those in need And light those candles with your good deed.
  5. I have never read the first one; nor does it go along with other scriptures of how a wife is to submit to her husband, NOT desire to control him.
  6. Yes the love of money, not money, is the root of all evil: God wants us to control stuff, not have stuff control us. Actually I know a number of preaches that do! I hate it when people judge all same type preachers because of the downfall of some! And the same preachers never ask "give me give me give me" They preach, and live the Word of God; and God has blessed them for it!
  7. I think Gal 6:1 answers that well; When you tell someone about there sin, make sure you are not sinning the same sin! Plus there is different type of judging.. for example: You see an old run down house with a satellite dish on it. Ones thought might me, "there priority is messed up": that type of judging is sin! BTW: there are different branches of the same sin.... for example; you are walking dangerously if you tell someone it is sin to sleep with there GF, but you might be looking at porn.
  8. Anger in, and of its self is not sin, it is what we do with that anger, and how we direct that anger, the bible says.. "be angry, and sin not"
  9. I started to watch, then stopped, we can not place God in a box, and there is a chance, all tho very slim that God would show off as a sign of His power; He has done it before. That being said, however, I doubt that this is one of those. I only watched the so-called wine video; the money one I did not watch. God does multiply the seed of the of the giver... I just have to ask, who IS getting the glory here? It least the water in the bottle could have turned red... lol
  10. 1st question, does he consider himself a Christian? If not then sleeping with his GF is not important, he just needs Jesus right were he is at. If he does claim to be a Christian, then..... 1) Ezek 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Ezek 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezek 3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Ezek 3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. 2) Ezek 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 3) 1Cor 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 1Cor 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 1Cor 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 4) Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. I would say yes, tell him!
  11. Absolutely; He IS my Father, who is in heaven; and every other Christian also.
  12. Now.... back to the subject at hand; does anyone know where this idea/cult originated from?
  13. I think for the most part I get what you are trying to say; but do you realize the way that you word things often leaves people scratching there head....
  14. Both Help, and Help II were written a number of years apart, and were the story of my life. These poems are to encourage you to be sensitive to the hurting around you, and to show them the love and compassion of Jesus. I also want you to know, that if you are going through something today, don’t be dismayed, you can know that you are not alone. Others like yourself have gone through it also. And Jesus is the ultimate friend you can turn to. Help II ...Continued from Help But as he looks he sees compassion no more, But life goes on like a hungry lions, "roar," The desperate boy, is now a man in pain, His heart is broken like thunder, soaked in rain, They say you reap what you sow, But why is broken hearts all he knows? For others in compassion, he has been there for, And yet, when he needs love, it's like a room with a locked door, Looking for love, with tears he lays alone in bed, Looking for compassion that the right person could send, Sometimes we all need to feel loved and excepted, You can get discouraged with loneliness and rejection, That young man is ready to give up on life, He's tired of loneliness, hurts, and strife, This young man could be in your town, he could be next to you, Just one loving, patient heart could make him brand new, Do we have true compassion for the hurting hearts, Or will we let them be torn apart,
  15. This poem was written in a very low time in my life. It was my first year of bible school, and I was very lonely. This is the 1st of a two part poem. And how I felt like .... Well, like the poem. The second part of the poem will give you all a challenge, I hope blesses you. Help He was a boy that was very bold, But now he feels like nothing, so he's told, The pains and hurts keep him down, Not knowing what to do has him bound, He screams out to God in pain, Man, I think he's going insane, Where's the help, where's the love, Christ has given him from above? From all that life is, he's left completely out, He does nothing right, but at him people just shout, The Godly gifts he's lost, And discouragement is all he's tossed, He lies in bed, tears coming from his eyes, Inside, slowly, he dies, To somebody he needs to open up, But instead, his pain is overflowing like a cup, Desperately for an answer he prays, But the pain just increases all his days, Is there anyone who can understand? Anyone the same through out the land? The boy knows Christ has gone through it, But then why is he left in such a pit, Compassion is what he is looking for, But as he looks he sees compassion no more, To Be Continued ...
  16. I love discussing or even arguing the Bible, it get me thinking, and even make me study the Bible more in that area. But when they start the conversation with, "people are not up to our level" you know that it will be useless talking with them.
  17. I agree; being angry in, and of itself is not sin, but we often say or so things in anger that is.
  18. Sorry, don't mean to get you upset, I know you were not officially talking about trees; I was just using that as an example of something that God created, that are not His children.
  19. Thank you for praying; this is the first time I have heard of it. Only after I got home I thought , "I should have said this, I should have said that...." sheeesh
  20. I came across an old friend yesterday, I made the error of asking he where he go's to church these days....... he said that they have bible study in his home...."because other people are not up to there level" a red flag came up in my sprit. Then he said; that..... "the apostil Paul told lies, and only pretended to be a Christian in order to capture more Christians....and that everything He wrote was a lie, and deception" SAY WHAAAAAT? I ended up walking away from him, "do not get caught up in futile arguments" written by Paul. How on earth do you even argue the scripture with someone who thinks most of the N.T. is false? My thought is, they only came up with that because they do not WANT to obey the Bible! If that is the case, then there is no point in arguing with them!
  21. You said, He is father of the angels, and you based that only on the fact that He created them. So with that system... then, in essence you ARE talking about tree's, because God also created trees. So sir, the only ones that God is the Father of are those that choose to come into the family of God, by making Jesus Lord of there life! Remember, because of Adam, we are ALL born into the family of the devil, but through Jesus, God offers us adoption into His family; but we NEED to except that offer. Those that don't, remain in the family of the devil.
  22. At least he should have been drinking a Pepsi.... lol
  23. Oh, well in that case we can both stand on Psalms 103:5 "my youth is renewed like an eagle" ?
  24. I like that song also
  25. Yes, but in your case, its probably from your exercise, for me I don't know why, like I said, I have not exercised in almost 2 months, so my stiffness is not from exercise.
