  1. We are human, we are never happy, so we have to have something to complain about.
  2. I hadnt noticed it till now lol so its clearly not *that* important.
  3. Great is about all i can say about this! Purely Wonderful.
  4. IDK, his speech seemed powerful and straightforward to me.
  5. I love snow, so its obvious with the Global warming why people wanta come play in it.
  6. Interesting post, its something that i personally have never read, but from what i gather from the from of the Bible. They probably *in a sense* hung out and praised and worshiped until Jesus rose from the dead and then follow him up to heaven. This is not using scripture, but from what i would infer.
  7. You just have to let yourself go, put your mind at ease, and understand that we are human, you are forgiven for your mistakes and thus it should be easy to forgive someone for theirs. Just let the feeling, any feeling at all, attached to hating or disliking of someone because of what they did go and you will feel, as was said before. the Burden gone.
  8. So im looking for some verses that give instruction on how to ya know talk to someone about Jesus. In essense how to properly witness to them. I have looked through my bible a bit and have yet to find anything that is useful. So i thought i would drop by here and see if anyone could give me any advice / pointers.
  9. Tattoo's are an expressions of ourselves. If your expressing God in them then how can you say that is sinful? Personal thought. But ya know i dont think they are, but /shrug.
  10. It would be nice if the world took time to reflect on these important days that we see, but to shop owners its all about how much Money they can make. Thus the *Easter Bunny*.
  11. Thanks for the advice, I have been getting better, but its an uphill struggle. I appreciate all the verses and yeah i really had never thought about focusing on the Good in people. Its just been a habit of mine to say well this is wrong and this is wrong. But yeah i have been praying for guidance and help from God and it seems to be getting easier but keep praying for me. To answer your question jesussaves. I still consider myself lost because im struggling really hard to keep myself at the point in my life that i have come too. I am no where near where i should be to consider myself a *Good Christian*. However yes i do believe that God is Lord and i do know that Jesus was sent to the earth to die for my sins and to save me from going to hell. I understand but do my actions at the present time reflect my words? I would have to say no, im struggling and will continue too. But i know that Prayer will help me though this. Thanks and Love, Burton
  12. I am going to say that reading a curse word is not the same as saying it yourself. Its like hearding them in a movie theater or such. You can not put your self totally away from them. You can limit your exposure to them but idk, i like reading and just because it has a few curse words in the book doesnt mean im not going to read that book. Thats me though, hope it helps.
  13. Its good because it is the day that Jesus died for us. In a sense, its good for us because jesus sacrificed himself for us to show his love for us.
  14. Yeah i agree appologize and then turn it down.
  15. This confused me, what are you saying here? That we, as christians, are suppose to be very critical of ourselves and questions everything we do in that the sense, is it right in the eyes of the lord?
  16. I believe that these people should just be thrown in jail.
  17. Strange, never heard of anything like this. Something cool to think about though.
  18. I believe that we should be offended by anything that goes against the teaching of the Lord. Not saying that protesting every little thing that is said or done but in our minds we should make note and pray against the ill acts.
  19. John Chapter 2 Vs 9-11 9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. I walk around and i have a tendency to think about a lot of things and never verse them outloud because im just quiet like that. I walk down the campus and I see someone and i just start thinking little things like I *hate this about him*. Now i dont mean it like i have hate in my heart and have it out for him, I just mean it in the sense that I dislike an aspect about him or even her. Now my questions is, is this wrong. I guess what im saying is that i, in my head, replace the word dislike for hate. Its not in a sense loving them either. Idk, i just find myself thinking so much about scenario's (sp) where i could possible be arguging with said person and well idk is that wrong? Yeah i know there is a lot of stuff here but /shrug just a few questions i have / think about a lot and looking for some guidance. Thanks Burton
  20. I have been starting to read my bible and i must say that it is a hard habit to start. I have been reading my bible at least 10-15 min a day and i do feel happier than i have in the past. I say there is not set time that you should read your bible but it should at least be daily.
