If you can, then please do is scripturally instead of just repeating the same thing over and over. Please prove from Romans 5 exactly how all are sinful. I'm reading the passage and I can't see anything of the kind. Perhaps thats why you haven't quoted the exact passages. Romans 5 states that death reigns through adams sin. It does not say that all are born inherently sinful.

Jesus was 100% human, but Jesus was not the son of Adam per se. If He was, He could not have been sinless. Jesus did not have an earthly father and sin is inherited through the father. Jesus, when on earth was 100% man and 100% God and still is. Son of Man as applied to Jesus refers to Him as Messiah, not the Son of Adam. Your pride may not be willing to make room for that fact, but it is true nonetheless. Ahhh, resorting to insults when you can't prove an argument wrong. You're claiming that to be born a human being makes you automatically sinlful - instead of having to actually sin to be guilty of it. Prove it from scripture. And what has that got to do with treating other people the way you would want to be treated? Would you like to be half black and half asian in an asian country? Is is a 'sin' or would the child just have difficulties fitting in? God made racial differences for a reason. They create diversity in the human race. Cultural differences come out of groups of people who share the same characteristics. Without that group diversity the world would be very bland. When a child is not going to 'fit in' to the country around them it isn't fair. If they will, then I don't see a problem. People are ignoring this because they WANT to. People can marry someone of a different race and not give much consideration to how this will affect their children because they simply DON'T CARE. Their childs needs become secondary to to their own choices. Is this always the case? No. But it happens. This is my point and this is what people are DELIBERATLY wanting to villify me over. yeah we all suck. And spreading the gospel in our own strength has always worked hasn't it. Because we save people, God doesn't. We have that capacity. And trying to persude people through guilt rather then Gods conviction has always produced mature, wise and capable christian workers in the field. That's why we can ignore the scripture that says the harvest is ripe but the workers are few so PRAY to the God of the harvest to raise up workers for it. Because anyone can be a capable missionary. Anyone can be an evangelist. Anyone can be a pastor. Anyone can be a preacher. Anyone can be a youth leader. Anyone can be a teacher or writer. Anyone can be anything because we don't actually need Gods enabling or his call. In fact we don't need to follow Jesus at all. We can do his work without him. It's what he wants. In fact to wait is to fail him. No offense nebula but clips like this are the work of the devil, because they can cause people to ignore God, and God is the one who builds his house, not us. We merely follow as HE leads. The more willing we are to die to ourselves the more he can do through us. But the moment we rip the reigns out of his hands and do something through guilt or pride, we move into our own strength and try to build his work in our own strength and THAT is the biggest problem the church faces today, not apathy. Most genuine christians would be willing to die for their faith or step out into ministry. The bible tells us that 'though we know ALL mysteries, though we give our body to be burned, though we have all knowledge or the faith to move mountains (which is a lot of faith) and give all or our possessions to the poor, if we have not love, it profits us nothing'. In otherwords it is possible to be a christian marytr pointlessly. Other scripture tells us that we can do healing, miracles and cast out demons in christs name and still be rejected by him at judgment. Why? Because we didn't follow him. That means behind. Hmm. I would say inherited a free will that can be influenced to sin through choice, from birth (toddler really) up. Born into a world where everyone else has that same nature. If all men (people) were created with an inheritly sinful nature Jesus wouldn't have stood a chance. He was fully man as well as the son of God and lived a life that we can actually follow (that's why we're called to.) The only difference between him and us is that he had the Holy Spirit without measure from birth. That means he had the help he needed to resist and see the attacks of the enemy at any stage of life. I remember something about him knowing right from wrong before eating solid food (curds scripture). Most people learn right from wrong as they go, from their conditioning and later their conciense (ie, if it hurts me it's going to hurt them so I shouldn't do it.) When we live in a world with a genuine adversary who can (and wants to) do as much destruction to everyone (Satan) as he can through tempting them into sin. AND we have free will. That's a pretty lethal combination when righteousness (the right way to do everything) is something we learn. (And can only learn through one source.) When others reject it around us (especially authority figures and family) it hurts us. When large portions of the world does it as well.........that opens the door for a lot of sin and misunderstanding for us to all live in. In amongst our understanding and our conciense we then make our individual decisions on a daily basis. God judges the heart. It's all about rejecting what hurts us and hurts other people (sin.) Ultimatly.

One of the problems with prosperity teaching is although they do encourage you to do the above, they mostly encourage you to give that 'seed' to them. They also tell you that giving is all it takes to become prosperous and wealthy. Yet if that were true they could simply sow their own 'seed' and it would cycle enough times to fund the church themselves without them having to ask for money. It's garbage.

I find the New Revised Standard Version is my favourite because it's the least sexist (as a general bible) that I've found so far and also the clearest and easiest to read. That combined with the Amplified to dig a little deeper if I'm unsure about a passage. Beyond that I go to lexicons (greek/hebrew dictionaries.)

I believe this scripture is a good indication that Hades (not Hell, Hell is different) exists and the dead do go there to wait for resurrection. If Hades is the land of the dead, then Samuel would be there. However it is a bit tricky because Ecclesiastes, states more than once that in Hades, you don't know anything. So Samuel's knowledge of what is going on is very strange indeed. Sheol (hades) the grave and gehenna (lake of fire) are all translated as 'hell' in the bible in english, but they're three seperate places (revelation mentions them all seperatly when referring to final judgment). The fact that Samuel was 'at rest' seems to indicate that he was in the grave, which makes sense as he was a righteous man. In revelation is tells us that all will stand before Gods throne for judgement, and that happens after Christs return.
