1846 Oct. 25th - Westcott: "Is there not that in the principles of the "Evangelical" school which must lead to the exaltation of the individual minister, and does not that help to prove their unsoundness? If preaching is the chief means of grace, it must emanate not from the church, but from the preacher, and besides placing him in a false position, it places him in a fearfully dangerous one." (Life, Vol.I, pp.44,45). Dec. 23rd - Westcott: "My faith is still wavering. I cannot determine how much we must believe; how much, in fact, is necessarily required of a member of the Church." (Life, Vol.I, p.46). 1848 July 6th - Hort: "One of the things, I think, which shows the falsity of the Evangelical notion of this subject (baptism), is that it is so trim and precise...no deep spiritual truths of the Reason are thus logically harmonious and systematic...the pure Romish view seems to me nearer, and more likely to lead to, the truth than the Evangelical...the fanaticism of the bibliolaters, among whom reading so many 'chapters' seems exactly to correspond to the Romish superstition of telling so many dozen beads on a rosary...still we dare not forsake the Sacraments, or God will forsake us...I am inclined to think that no such state as 'Eden' (I mean the popular notion) ever existed, and that Adam's fall in no degree differed from the fall of each of his descendants" (Life, Vol.I, pp.76-78). July 31st - Hort: "I spoke of the gloomy prospect, should the Evangelicals carry on their present victory so as to alter the Services." (Life, Vol.I, p.160). Oct. 15th - Hort: "I entirely agree - correcting one word - with what you there say on the Atonement, having for many years believed that "the absolute union of the Christian (or rather, of man) with Christ Himself" is the spiritual truth of which the popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit...Certainly nothing can be more unscriptural than the modern limiting of Christ's bearing our sins and sufferings to His death; but indeed that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy." (Life, Vol.I, p.430). Oct. 17th - Hort: "I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-worship and 'Jesus'-worship have very much in common in their causes and their results." (Life, Vol.II, p.50). 1890 Mar. 4th - Westcott: "No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history - I could never understand how any one reading them with open eyes could think they did - yet they disclose to us a Gospel. So it is probably elsewhere."

Psalm 78: 9-11 - "The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows, yet they turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God and refused to walk in His law; they forgot His deeds and His miracles that He had shown them." The apostle John wrote, "They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death" (Rev. 12:11). The elements of victory are recounted to us in this passage. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb: This means we no longer fight FOR victory but we fight FROM victory. Winning is assured when we enter the battle. Matthew 11:12 - "Violent men take the Kingdom by force." It is to be understood that our battles are to be the manifestations of His victory. The ultimate challenge is not the battle itself but the decision to participate. Notice that the "armor of God" in Ephesians Chapter 6 has no protection for your back. We are ill-equipped for retreat. Affirmations: MY MOST FEARFUL STUMBLING BLOCK IS ACTUALLY THE DOOR TO MY GREATEST VICTORY. I HAVE THE COURAGE TO ADVANCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY. MY PROMISED LAND (MY DESTINY) LIES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF FEAR. Just because we walk and talk does not mean we are truly awake. Zechariah was sleeping when an angel roused him "as a man who is awakened from his sleep" (Zechariah 4:1). Perhaps we too need to be shaken from our slumber to possess the promises of God! Jesus said there is a mysterious drowsiness that we have to overcome. Indeed, immediately after highlighting the evidences of the end (see Matthew 24), He compares the Church to virgins who "all got drowsy and began to sleep" (Matthew 25:5).various "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him..that you will know what is the hope of His calling....and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe...and He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave...to the church...the fullness of Him who fills all in all" - Ephesians 1:17-19,22,23 Become His hands, become His feet, become His voice wherever you are. Listen for the stillness of His Spirit. Recognize the unction of His Spirit, for you are being lifted up and in a high level. Be not called into isolation, for the enemy would lead you there. For he would make you feel forsaken and abandoned. He does not forsake you, He does not abandonyou; but He cherishes you, and He treasures you.trained "Your fidelity to Christ...that you are also wise in what is good and innocent of what is bad...the God of peace will soon crush Satan beneath your feet." - Romans 16:19,20 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Exodus 19:14 - "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself." In facing their threshold or brink, marching through the "GATES" out of captivity in Egypt, Israel has to make a leap of faith. If they took the leap of faith, would God come and bear them up on eagle's wings? God comes through for Israel and opens up the Red Sea. He swoops down and picks them up, carrying them on His wings. However, they had to leap first. Had they not taken bold, daring action, stepping out in faith, God could not have saved them. Bold action is always motivated by faith of some kind. Faith-filled people of God take bold action, which opens a "GATE" and releases spiritual power. Paul opened up a "GATE" in Ephesus when he boldly preached the gospel in the city. Not only were people changed but the socioeconomic system of the city was transformed as well. The city transformed (see Acts 19). Bold action opens up a "GATE" of spiritual power and blessing from God. The heavens over an area are opened in a new way. It is at the "GATES" as someone steps onto the threshold that faith and perseverance are tested. It is at the threshold where either spiritual abortion or spiritual birthing occurs. Affirmations: GOD HAS A GREAT DEAL FOR ME TO POSSESS. GOD IS CONTINUALLY PUTTING NEW CHALLENGES BEFORE ME TO DEVELOP MY FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE AT A DEEPER LEVEL. I PRESS TOWARDS THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. Luke 10:41,42 - "But the Lord answered and said to her, 'Martha, Martha, you are so worried and bothered about so many things; but only a few things are necessary, really only one, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."' Affirmation: I TAKE TIME TO HEAR THE WORDS OF JESUS INSTEAD OF GETTING CAUGHT UP IN WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE NEED OF THE MOMENT. Psalms 72:18-19 - "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory!" God's glory is all around us. We often do not take the time to witness God's glory and meditate on his holiness. We are consumed with what we want and what is wrong, we don't take time just to cry out to the Lord and appreciate His glory. We should praise God for what he has already done! Isaiah 6:3 - "And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory." We must humble ourselves before the Lord remembering who we are in Christ and who God is. We are servants in need of a Savior and God is Holy and the whole earth is full of His glory. Luke 17:20,21 - And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." The word "observation" in verse 20 literally means to stand beside and watch. This accurately describes the posture of many who are looking for a rescue or a revival. They stand beside as life passes by and watch passively for the Lord to move sovereignly. Jesus told the Pharisees that the kingdom of God would not come when they stood by and watched for it. He then told them the kingdom of God was within them. Jesus was saying that the kingdom of God will not come if we are not actively engaged in bringing it. Since the kingdom of God is within us, it is within our power to see it come to pass. The kingdom of God will not come if we are in a passive posture because we are God's agents to bring out the kingdom He has planted within us. Affirmations: I START WORKING WITH THE LORD TO BRING IN THE KINGDOM FROM WITHIN MY SPIRIT WHERE GOD HAS DEPOSITED HIS SPIRIT. THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES AS I LABOR WITH THE LORD TO BRING IT IN. WHERE THERE IS BARREN LAND, I PLANT; WHERE THERE IS FRUIT, I REAP - I STOP LOOKING FOR THE KINGDOM TO COME FROM WITHOUT. 2 Kings 5:10 - "And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean." Observation: AS I DIP IN THE LIVING WATER OF GOD'S WORD AND SUBMERGE MYSELF IN THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - THE WORLD WILL SEE AN EVENT THAT TRANSCENDS HUMAN POWER. THEY WILL WONDER AT THE DIVINE INTERVENTION BY GOD INTO MY CIRCUMSTANCES. "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14 All too many believers are looking back, and not willing to go forward with Him. Until our perspective is right, we will not discern His presence as our Lord and King, or His presentation of the Age to come. 1 Chronicles 12:32 speaks of a company of (spiritually mature) men who had "understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do." Only as we walk with Jesus in expectancy, with purpose and direction, will we be able to understand and rightly relate to the things that are before us. If you feel the inner tug of the Holy Spirit to take you further, and the intense work of the enemy attempting to hinder, His hand is indeed upon you for this new day. Listen to what the Spirit is saying, then set your face as a flint, and begin to walk with Jesus toward this new day. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say. "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." His disciples thought the Kingdom was only for the future, but Jesus said, "No, because I am with you, the Kingdom of heaven is with you. When the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you, the Kingdom will then be in you also." Essentially, the Kingdom of heaven does not refer to physical territory. The Kingdom of heaven is a jurisdiction over which the influence of God has full authority. It is the "breakthrough" point where the Kingdom of God impacts the physical, earthly environment. Affirmations: THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD BECAUSE I LIVE THERE AND THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS IN ME. WHEREVER I GO, AND TO WHEREVER MY INFLUENCE EXTENDS, I BRING THE KINGDOM OF GOD INTO THAT PLACE. I CLAIM AND ASSERT NOW MY AUTHORITY OVER POVERTY, PAIN, SUFFERING, AND TROUBLE AS A SON OF THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE. I EXPERIENCE THE VICTORY THAT IS MINE AS A CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM. Hebrews 4:12A - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword........" The Word of God comes alive when you can picture what it's talking about. If we can let the Word of God control our imagination as we think about scriptures, we will see things in Scripture that can't be seen with the physical eyes. We see it on the inside.....in our imagination. Psalm 103:2,3 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth, all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;" When the Bible says you're healed, you've got to meditate on that truth until you see yourself healed. Most people allow their imaginations to become vain and agree with the image the doctors have painted rather that the Word of God. They're told what is going to happen, and they imagine it as truth. Uncover the enemy with praise and thanksgiving, for he comes under the umbrella of murmuring. For is he not called the 'accuser of the brethren?' He accuses, and accuses, and accuses until you stand with your heads down, as one who's been accused and condemned. "Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1 You are to arise and to shine. You are not called to hide in the darkness, but you are called 'the light.' You are a living epistle -- alive in His Word and His Word is alive in you? Shake off the darkness. Shake off the negative agreement. Tell the enemy, 'No, get behind me.' Do not hide behind him with murmuring and accusing, one to another, for His Spirit grieves in murmuring. You are sealed by His Spirit. Do not take that lightly. Own it. Live in it. And let His Word do what it was sent to do –- set captives free. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

(Concerning the Priests) Ezekiel 44:18 - "Linen turbans shall be on their heads, and linen undergarments shall be on their loins; they shall not gird themselves with anything which makes them sweat." Sweat is the result of exerting our own strength, so sweat speaks of a ministry that comes from our own efforts. If we are going to be the priests of the Lord, we must not take on anything that makes us sweat. Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My load is light." A yoke speaks of work, but when we are yoked with the Lord, it will be His strength that does the work, and we just get carried along for the ride! It is the Spirit that He has given to us that will do the work, just as He did from the beginning. Acts 7:48 - "The Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands." Acts 17:25 - "Neither is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything." All of our best efforts will not accomplish anything for Him. Affirmations: I AM SIMPLY CALLED TO OBEDIENCE AND ABIDING IN HIM. WHEN I COME TO REST IN HIM, HE WILL THEN MOVE THROUGH ME, AND I WILL ACTUALLY FIND REST AND REFRESHMENT AS HE DOES IT. "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." - Zechariah 4:10 NLT It's time to let your expectation out of the box of fear and intimidation - He's taking your little portion into His BIG hands and causing supernatural multiplication in areas of your life, ministry, CALLINGas His sons and daughters. We have all heard that the atmosphere of EXPECTATION is the breeding ground for miracles. Indeed, this is such a true declaration to keep in the forefront, especially NOW. Rise up in full faith and in the confidence our God knowing this is your hour of multiplication.and "He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and Its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers." - Psalm 1:3 Be not afraid of weariness, but see it as a season of watering; to where He will water you, and water you, and water you, and water you. When you run, you will carry the Rivers of Life to and fro, and also swim upstream, against adversity. You will know and recognize the current of the Holy Spirit, and you will learn and recognize, how to flow with the His flowing. You will swim against the drowning currents and find Him as your personal lifeguard. You will understand, the current from under will cause you to rise up, to walk on the water, with the faith that He has been grooming in you for a long time. You, the branch, and the life that He deposits in you -- you then will deposit into withered trees, to those who are dry. The water that will be drawn up out of the root of their pain, you will merely pump it into the vein of their hopelessness. When you're in isolation, do not see it as a season of abandonment, but see it as the season of being prepared, behind closed doors, for presentation -- it will be a platform higher in the heavenlies, for He has promised you in His Word that He is taking His own from glory to glory in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 1:5 - "The goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." It has become a popular saying that we should not seek the gifts, but the Giver. This sounds noble, but it is contrary to the Word of God which exhorts us "pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts" (1 Corinthians 14:1).to Love is the foundation upon which spiritual authority, and, thereby, the gifts of the Spirit, operates. Jesus expresses His love to us through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He healed the sick because He loved them and did not want them to suffer needlessly. He gave words of knowledge because He loved the people and wanted to impact them with the reality that God really did know them. The gifts of the Spirit enabled Jesus to do something, not just feel something, with His love. Affirmations: KNOWING THAT LOVE CAST OUT EVERYTHING THAT HINDERS THE MOVE OF GOD THROUGH ME GIVES ME A HIGHER UNDERSTANDING OF WHY I NEED TO VIGOROUSLY PURSUE LOVING ALL PEOPLE. I EXHORT OTHERS INTO KINGDOM REALITIES. Luke 6:8 - "But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to the man with the crippled hand,'Stand up and come here to the front.' The man got up and stood there.'" Observation: Jesus is telling me to come out of the back row of life; come out of darkness; come out of my comfort zone and launch out in a great leap of faith toward Him! "Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom." - Song of Solomon 2:15 Ask the Lord to reveal to you the little foxes that are trying to crush the vine that will bring forth the new wine. Get a vision of your future identity. Ask the Lord to send a new wind and blow upon your garden. Ask the Lord to come into your vineyard. Let Him prophetically reveal to you the fruit you are going to bring forth in the future. Enter into His PURPOSE for your life. Allow the Lord to set you apart for the future. Let new joy and gladness arise. Declare you will sleep in peace and you will feel safe in the presence of God. It's time for new wine. It's time for the new wine skin. Enter in! "The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me; I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; I have set the Lord continually before me; In your presence is fullness of joy." - Psalm 16:5-8,11 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Psalm 141:2 - "May my prayer be counted as incense before Thee; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering." Revelation 8:4 - "And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand." Therefore, if we are to be His dwelling place, prayer should be our highest priority.Place the altar of incense represented prayer and intercession. The Lord said that His house was to be "a house of prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7) How can we dwell continually in the presence of the Lord to perform the divine service? Exodus 30:7,8 - "And Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps. And when Aaron trims the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations." Aaron was to light the incense as his first duty each morning, and as the last thing he did at night, but there would be "perpetual incense before the Lord." The Lord does not just want us to talk to Him a couple of times a day; He wants us to abide in Him. If we really are His temple, and His Spirit abides in us, how is it that we ignore Him so much? The Lord wants to have fellowship with us in everything we do. The truth is that if the eyes of our hearts were opened we would see Him in all that we do, and the reality of His presence would actually be greater that which we are seeing with our physical eyes. Instead of "thinking to ourselves," He wants us to be conversing with Him. If we take the time to properly light this fire the first thing in the morning, and then as the last thing we do at night, soon we will find ourselves raising perpetual prayer as incense before the Lord, coming from our hearts. Affirmations: I AM ABLE TO STAY IN A PERPETUAL ATTITUDE OF PRAYER SINCE I BEGIN AND END MY DAY WITH PRAYER. THROUGH PRAYER I KNOW HIS PRESENCE CONTINUALLY. I AM CALLED TO BE HIS DWELLING PLACE. 1 Corinthians 1:5 - "That in every thing you are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge." Every time we confess God's word Jesus' enrichment ministry adds another grain of faith, another bit of anointing, to our faith and to our words. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him," - Ephesians 1:17 Ask the Lord for revelation. Ask the Lord for the building plan for your future. Ask the Lord for keys. Just as Peter connected with the Father in Heaven, connect with the Father in a way that you begin to unlock the Kingdom of God within you. Let the Lord change your water into new wine (John Chapter 2). He used the pots of religious ritualism to fill them with new wine. Ask the Lord to remove the spirit of religion from you. Let His glory begin to shine. Be willing to let go of any old method that is operating in your life. Notice the teaching after the wineskin. The lady who had an issue of blood for 12 years pressed through and touched Jesus. Jesus was on His way to awaken the 12-year-old daughter of Jairus. Declare that now is the time to press through into the new, even in your weakness. Declare that what needs to wake up will wake up now. There is a time when the old season ends. Allow the old to end and the new to begin. "Arise my darling, my beautiful one, and come along. For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; the time has arrived for pruning the vines." - Song Of Solomon 2:10-12 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know."- Ezekiel 37:3 NASB God is always standing by, ready to breathe new life into anything lifeless when we ask. He is there in our spiritual springtime and in the cold, winter months. And He is even closer, hovering nearby in our darkest hours, according to Psalm 34:18 where it says: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." This scripture asks the question, "...can these bones become living people again?" The word living does not only mean to come back to life after being physically dead, it also applies to brokenness, a dying dream, a losing struggle, and times of hopelessness and despair in any area of our lives. To live means to be refreshed, rejuvenated, revived, or to be given the promise of life. It also means to be restored or renewed—or simply to be made whole again. Just as the wind breathed new life into the dry bones from the Ezekiel passage, God wants to resurrect our spirits as well. He wants to welcome us into His living presence and impart that same resurrection life to us, breathing new life into the dead places in our lives. And while some may come along and say, "God can't use us," God is saying otherwise, and His is the last word on the subject! "Therefore, prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel." - Ezek. 37:12 Romans 8:29 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." Affirmation: AS I REACH FOR CHRISTLIKENESS, MY LOVE FOR GOD BECOMES RICHER, MY WITNESS TO SINNERS MORE POWERFUL, AND MY SECRET LIFE HOLY. "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him." - Psalm 62:5 When things are going a different direction, we have to know that our identity is -- to fellowship with the Living God. Where are you with Him this day? Are you in the fold of His arms? Are you where His hand can rest upon your head, and give you right thinking and right understanding? Are you so close that He needs only to whisper, and you feel His breath, and know exactly what He is sending you to do, and the message He will send you to carry? Let the distance cause you to come closer and closer and closer. Learn to run into His arms. Learn to acknowledge His presence in every hour of the day, until you become so aware that you too cannot escape His presence, just like David. Because if you too were locked in the pits of Hell, He would come and get you, for you are His property. "O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;" - Psalm 63:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Luke 19:12,13 - He "A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed said: king and then to return. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. 'Put this money to work,' he said, 'until I come back.' A mina represents the truths of God's word, our inheritance in Christ, the love of God shed abroad in our hearts, and the covenant blessing that are given to each believer. Each individual has the same; no one is given extra to start with. This parable speaks of what every one of us as believers possesses in Christ. These blessings are ours in Christ, but it is our faith that appropriates and manifests them here on earth. And it's our obedience and giving that causes them to multiply. This is why the nobleman, who represents Jesus, says to his servants (us) - "Do business till I come". We are to take what we have been given and multiply it to the glory of God. Luke 19:20,24 - Then another servant came and said, 'Sir here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. Then he said to those standing by, 'Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.' The master More revelation will be given to him that has. This involves asking, seeking, and knocking(Matthew 7:7,8).said "For I say to you, that to everyone who has, more will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him." This parable shows that each man had the potential of multiplying his mina many times over. In regard to our personal lives, we can affect and build the kingdom of God as much or as little as we desire; the choice is ours. Do not cover him with words of unbelief, for he hides and brings torment with fear, and aggravation, and regret, and remorse. Expose him by the light of the Word and His presence. You are His mouthpiece. But how can you speak what He tells you to speak unless you have come with praise and thanksgiving, and receive that which He would give to you? Let the Holy Spirit quicken you -- you are the temple -- His presence dwells in your temple. Claim His ever-filling. Claim His ever-presence. Claim and remember His faithfulness. John 14:30 - ".......for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." Pauperhood is relegated to the children of a lesser god. It is the condition of slaves who have yet to discover their freedom on the other side of the river of baptism and find themselves still captured by the dark prince of torture and torment. He is the one who assigns them to a life of poverty, pain, and depression through a diabolical play of illusion. He hopes to conceal their true identity forever. This evil prince feeds his captives the poisonous rations of religion, convincing them they will fill their soul's hunger for righteousness. These slaves, blindfolded by their sin, think that they are laboring for their own freedom and work to pave their way out of prison with bricks built from the miry clay of self-righteousness. Yet, unknowingly, brick by brick, they are erecting their own chambers of death. Worse yet, they birth children into the same darkness, ultimately creating legacies of bondage with mind-sets of hopelessness. Affirmation: I ONLY QUALIFY FOR WHAT I PURSUE. Jeremiah 29:13 - "And ye shall seek Me, and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Ecclesiastes 9:10 - "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him." - John 6:53,54,56 Some have gotten away from the true knowledge of the power of His Blood, and yet they wonder where the power is. In many cases the "Blood of the Gospel" has been put aside; to pat the hand of others and give sympathy. And really what happened was that it became a counterfeit compassion that really encouraged the flesh, rather than bringing the flesh into obedience to the Word. Declare His Word to come forth. Command His Word to become alive and active. Psalm 32:6 - "Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach Him." Even so, regardless of the terrible delusions that we have How many of us have not traded much more for much less? How many of us have been frivolously wasting our time when we could have spent it before the Throne of Grace? We have been called to be the sons and daughters of the King who is above all kings. To disregard such an honor is to fall to the same tragic fate as Esau, who traded his birthright as an heir of the promises for a mere bowl of soup! to, if we repent the Lord can make up all of the ground that we have lost much more quickly than we could ever believe. As Peter explained:succumbed 2 Peter 3:8 - "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." The Lord can do us in one day what we think would take a thousand years. His grace is not dependent on our abilities or disabilities, or on time. If we repent of walking in the delusions of devotion to things that are temporary, we can right now be as close to Him as we want to be, and our deeds will begin to have the mark of eternity on them - we will begin to bear fruit that remains.in Affirmations: I UNDERSTAND THAT MY FOUNDATION FOR GREATNESS WILL BE REALIZED IN MY CONSTANCY OF PURPOSE. Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Affirmation: MY PRESENT FOCUS DETERMINES MY PRESENT JOY. Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving." "You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God." - AMP Wear the crown of glory that He would have you wear uprightly. Lay down any identity that man would come with. Man would come and try to push His crown off your head, and put upon it a counterfeit identity. Lay down all these things that rush into your mind – to where you cannot even come into His presence, because your mind, your spirit, is somewhere else. Press it aside. Press forward in the run of faith. And know, as you run in faith, you will meet Him, face to face, for in His Presence are the answers for every circumstance you are in. You do not understand what is available to you. He brings forth that which would birth life around you. Call everything that would command you to die – to give up dreams and visions and hope – command it to be cast behind you, for it is of satan. Tell him to get behind you. Tell him that he cannot hinder the CALLING that He has placed upon you. Understand who He calls you to be. You are more than a conqueror in Him, and by His Spirit -- through you. Acts 10:38, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." Jesus was always taking territory. God calls us to invade and have an impact. We don't need to wait around for something to happen then "react" to it. Rather our actions should be making the enemy react to us. We are in a battle to see people restored to the Father, restored in their lives and made whole in the presence of Jesus. Be intentional about all that you do. Know that Jesus has given you power, authority, influence, and a life PURPOSE in the Holy Spirit to see lives changed. Expand the horizons of the possibilities in what God can do through you. He has no limitations and intends to overflow our lives with His life-changing presence. Philippians 3:7,8 - "But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ." Paul considered everything prized by his culture worthless compared with the awesome experience of knowing Jesus. Affirmations: MY TREASURE IS IN JESUS. I LOVE JESUS ABOVE ALL ELSE. JESUS CALLS ME TO A HIGHER LOVE, TO EMBRACE THE BURNING AND PASSIONATE HEART OF GOD. "God knew what He was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity He restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in Him." - Romans 8:29 The Message Seek first the Kingdom of God. Let His righteousness do rightness all around you. For, understand, when those come to oppose you – lift up His right hand, His Word, against that. For His left hand will sustain you, and His right hand will give you the direction of counsel, by His Spirit. For He is raising up a people who are hungry to seek His Kingdom, hungry to taste of the Kingdom, and hungry to rule in the Kingdom. Understand and meditate; dwell upon His Word. Seek His face, for when you seek Him with your whole heart, absolutely, positively, unconditionally, you will find Him. For you must realize, He presents Himself to you, for His Kingdom is among you, and His Kingdom is within you. Change citizenships. Think of His Kingdom. Understand, as His Kingdom representative. As a citizen of His Kingdom – knowing His knowledge, knowing the authority He has given you in His name -- use it with His Spirit, for He will not leave you alone, but He will direct, lead, counsel, and anoint you. Ephesians 1:9 - "Making known to us the mystery of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). In accordance with His good pleasure which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him." Ephesians 1:17 - "For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation (of insight into mysteries and secrets) in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him." We cannot afford to live only in what we understand because then we don't grow or progress anymore; we just travel the same familiar roads we have traveled all of our Christian lives. It is important that we expose ourselves to impossibilities that force us to have questions that we cannot answer. It is a part of the Christian life, which is why the Christian life is called "the faith.' The normal Christian life is perfectly poised between what we presently understand and the unfolding revelation that comes to us from the realm of mystery. AFFIRMATIONS: I SEEK ON-GOING, LIFE-CHANGING REVELATION FROM GOD. ON-GOING REVELATION AND ENCOUNTERS WITH THE POWER OF GOD LAUNCH ME INTO UNDERSTANDING OF THINGS I'VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD BEFORE. I COME ALIVE TO THE WOOING OF GOD INTO INTIMACY SO I WILL KNOW HOW HE THINKS AND MOVES. Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." If the Holy Spirit can make a glorious creation out of the most desolate place, He can bring forth a glorious new creation out of the most desolate, confused, and empty life. "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." - Ephesians 6:10,12 What would you do with the might of His Spirit? Would you allow it to flow out of you? Would you allow it to change you, and raise you up in His own glory? Do not let man cause you to fall, to slumber, or to come halfheartedly before His throne. But press forward, and come in BOLDLY, for you have an appointment through His Blood. Let His Blood come and transfuse back to you the might of His Spirit, so you too can do signs and wonders, and come to the understanding of who you are, and who He is. Come boldly. Come, allow Him to let His hand rest upon you, and give peace to your mind, peace to your heart, multiplication to your finances, answers if you need answers, and healing if you need healing. "Rule in the midst of your enemies" - Psalm 110:2 The Lord has provided us with powerful tools to accomplish our assignment and legislate the heavens with the ability to call forth what is not as though it were. He has given us the power of the Blood, the power of His name, the power of His Word, the power of decree, the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to pass, and angel armies assigned to God's Kingdom purposes! He has given us everything needed to rule and reign, to take and to hold ground! Circumstances may seem to be holding you back, or life situations and finances, but obedience to take your place in PURPOSE for your life unlocks your DESTINY and positions you for favor. It's a favor that opens the necessary doors for you to accomplish your assignment.God's "Of the increase of His Government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." - Isaiah 9:7 Choosing to set yourself firmly in the place where God has called you unlocks spiritual principles that result in increase. The best days of the Church are upon us and it's a time to embrace our divine destiny. God is good and He is faithful! Let us wake up and be successful in fulfilling all He has planned! Matthew 6:26,27 - "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable that they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Jesus used an analogy from nature to help explain prosperity. Some people interpret this passage to mean that, since God is supposed to take care of them, they don't need to do anything themselves. Therefore, they just wait for God to act. How does God feed birds? He provides for them, but He doesn't personally hand-deliver food to their nests! The birds don't just sit around and wait for God to stop by with their meals. When Jesus said the heavenly Father feeds the birds, He meant that everything they need has been made available for them, but they have to go and get it. God does not build a bird's nest. He provides the twigs. The bird has to find them, pick them up, and bring them back to the tree it has chosen for a home. God does not leave worms on the top of the ground every morning. The bird has to go digging for them. It has to keep working, working, working until it finishes building its nest. It has to keep working, working, working until it gets the worm. Sometimes, God doesn't give us all the resources we need to fulfill our visions because He has called other people to provide them for us. He provides everything, but He provides it after you begin the work of the vision. Your obedience to your vision affects not only your life but also the lives of those who will work with you. Affirmations: GOD WILL SUPPLY MY PROVISION, EVEN IF HE HAS TO HAVE SOMEONE CROSS THE DESERT TO GET IT TO ME. GOD HAS PROVISION FOR ME THAT NO ONE BUT HE KNOWS ABOUT. ALL THE RESOURCES I NEED ARE ALREADY IN PLACE; THEY WILL BECOME VISIBLE IN GOD'S TIMING ONCE I START PURSUING MY VISION. Jude 22: And of some have compassion, making a difference. Affirmation: MY HEART RELEASES THE COMPASSION OF JESUS CHRIST TO HELP DELIVER PEOPLE CAUGHT IN THE DECEPTION OF SIN AND DARKNESS AND SET THEM FREE. "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" - (Ephesians 2:4-6). As our minds are renewed and our faith grows, we take these realities as fact and live in the light of them. We come to know that we are above our enemies and refuse to walk in the flesh realm but take our place in Christ in the spirit realm. No longer will faith be a struggle, but a normal living in the realm of God. The spiritual realm places man where communion with God is a normal experience. We are not going to grovel in the earthly realm, but we are seated in the heavenly places with the Lord. Every Believer has the right, authority, and ability to minister out of the throne room just as Jesus did. "Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Acts 8:12 - "But when they believed the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ as Philip preached it, they were baptized, both men and women." A popular belief among Christians is that God wants to use us to help people see their sins and give them the choice of whether or not to receive Jesus. If we look more closely at what the Bible really declares as Jesus' message, we will have a plumb line to see just how off track we have veered with this sort of thinking. Jesus states clearly in John 16:8 that the Holy Spirit will come and convict the world of guilt in regard to sin. God's task is to convict people of sin, and ours is to love people. "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39). And when we do love people, and also love one another, they will know that we are true followers of Jesus (John 13:35). When we use guilt-inducing methods to communicate Jesus' message, people usually respond by erecting walls and closing their minds to what we are saying. On the contrary, if we treat people in a kind and loving way, they generally tend to be very open and their walls recede. It is not for us to bring them to repentance; that's the Holy Spirits domain, and He accomplishes it much better than we ever could! Affirmations: IN MINISTERING TO NON-BELIEVERS I SEEK TO UNDERSTAND THEIR VALUES AND PERCEIVED NEEDS, AND AS MUCH OF THEIR BACKGROUND AND FRAME OF REFERENCE AS I CAN; THEN I WILL KNOW BETTER HOW TO RELATE TO THEM AND LEAD THEM TO CHRIST WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. I REALIZE THAT EVERY HUMAN BEING NOT ONLY WANTS BUT NEEDS TO BE IN THE ABUNDANT LIFE HERE AND NOW. Isaiah 53:3 - "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not." Affirmation: I OVERCOME REJECTION BECAUSE MY VISION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN APPROVAL. "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." - 1 Corinthians 2:12 God is ready to bring a new understanding of the knowledge -- His Spirit desires that you would call out, you would decree His awesomeness, you would claim, and then revelation will come – with knowledge.you By meditating and declaring how awesome He is in your place, and know that wherever you go so does He. Wherever He leads you, He goes before you, and He goes behind you. Know that you cannot escape His presence but you carry His presence. He wants you not only transformed, but wants you to be performing the fruit bearing good works that He has set before you (your CALLING in Christ), and it will be through the power of the Gospel coming through you. And as you let the power of the Gospel come through you, then you will be the Gospel spilling out, good news spilled, for it will come spilling out of you; for it has been placed in you, not only for yourself but for others. Ask for revelation -- give Him a platform for manifestation, for He chooses to declare His own glory through you. And in this, a hungry, dying world will come to the revelation that not only is He alive and well, but that they are His, and He longs to be theirs. Exodus 33:18,22,23 - Then Moses said, "I pray Thee, show my Thy glory!" And it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. "Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen." When Moses saw the Lord's back, what did he see? When we think of seeing His glory we think of everything from beautiful colors to some perception of His nature. Is it possible that Moses prophetically saw the stripes that were on His back? Remember, the Lord was crucified from the beginning. When He created the world He knew that He would also have to suffer and even die for it, yet He continued. There is nothing else that will ever more fully reveal His glory. When we truly behold what He did for us we will be changed. Colossians 1:13,16,17 - "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." 2 Corinthians 8:9 - "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." Jesus never was poor. When the Bible says, Jesus became poor, it means He was poor in comparison to what He had in His heavenly home. Before Mary and Joseph went to the barn, they first went to the inn to get a room. Mary and Joseph had plenty of money to get a room at the inn. The problem was, the inn had no room for the Savior. Yes, Jesus was born in a manger, but not to teach us poverty. God was showing us that we were not making room for the Savior to be born in our lives. Affirmations: I MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE. THROUGH THE BLOOD THAT THE LORD JESUS SHED FOR ME, I AM ABUNDANCE. "Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Ephesians 5:20 Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. That is why He has instructed you to give thanks for everything. There is an element of mystery in this transaction: You give Him thanks (regardless of your feelings), and He gives you joy (regardless of your circumstances). This is a spiritual act of obedience—at times, blind obedience. Nonetheless, those who obey Him in this way are invariably blessed, even though difficulties may remain. Thankfulness opens your heart to His Presence and your mind to His thoughts. You may still be in the same place, with the same set of circumstances, but it is as if a light has been switched on, enabling you to SEE FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE. Job 1:10 - "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land." As God built a hedge around Job, which limited Satan, so today He will do the same for any child of God who applies the blood to a given situation. The blood is the hedge that stops the Destroyer. Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the BLOOD of the Lamb and by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and they did not love their lives to the death." Exodus 12:7,13 - "And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side-posts and on the upper door post of the houses....And the blood shall be to you and for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Confessions: I OVERCOME ALL FEAR, DEPRESSION, UNBELIEF, WAVERING AND HALFHEARTEDNESS, DISCOURAGEMENT, TEMPTATION, AND SICKNESS BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS AND THE WORD OF MY TESTIMONY. MY SOUL IS FILLED WITH LOVE AS I GAZE ON JESUS' PRECIOUS BLOOD. BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THE BLOOD IN MY HEART, I APPLY THE BLOOD WITH MY MOUTH OVER THE DOORPOSTS OF MY LIFE. Luke 5:4 - "When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, 'Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."' Luke 5 is a great example of the Church in our day. We have been fishing all night and have not caught much. Many of us have not ventured out of the shallow water, out of the zones of safety and comfortableness, to find the fish where they are. The fish are in the deep water; they are outside the Church, and outside our opinions and prejudices. As we are obedient to God's call and venture into the deep water and into relationships with people "on the streets," we will be overwhelmed by the response and will need to network with other churches to accommodate the great numbers of people who will come to Jesus. Matthew 4:19 - And Jesus said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." "Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won't become bored with being a Christian, nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience." - Hebrews 6:12 (Living Bible) Now is the time to press into the Lord for Fresh Empowerment and Activation for harvest in the coming season. We need to see a tremendous outpouring of the Power of the Holy Spirit for our current Time. As we go into this season we pray to see a notable increase in the Power of the Lord from the Fire of His Presence that will cause many to turn to Him. We need to pray for these seven blessings: 1. Greater Power 2. Greater Anointing 3. Greater Favor 4. Greater Flow of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit 5. Greater Evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit 6. Matthew 16:19 - "Whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." God has always wanted to release truth to His people, backed by the Word, of things that are found in heaven but have no earthly parallel. Jesus said: "If I have told you of earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?" (John 3:12)have He was expressing a desire to reveal things to us about what's happening in the spiritual realm that have no corresponding earthly picture. Isaiah 9:7 - "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end........." As His government increases in the earth, the Church will receive more and more revelation as we are engulfed in His glory. Affirmations: I COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE FATHER TO RELEASE ME INTO THE THINGS HE HAS PREDESTINED ME FOR SINCE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD. I HUNGER FOR AND RECEIVE REVELATION AS PART OF MY EVERYDAY LIFE. THAT REVELATION WILL HELP ME CARRY OUT MY EARTHLY ASSIGNMENTS WITH GREATER PRECISION AND WISDOM. Observation: IN MY LIFE GOD'S WORD BECOMES FLESH -- MY FLESH! "I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how He will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, 'Write My answer plainly on tablets"....... - Habakkuk 2:1,2 We stand at our appointed posts as watchmen, ready for anything. We get away from external distractions, as Jesus did when he withdrew before dawn to isolated locations (see Mark 1:35). Quieting our internal noise, we watch to see what God may want to say: "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). When we hear something, we do something—write it down, pray from it, sound an alarm—whatever is appropriate. It is also easier to hear God's voice when you are performing automatic, mindless tasks such as driving the car, showering, exercising, washing the dishes or cleaning the house, especially if you are quietly praising God at the same time. Matthew 16:19 - "Whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." God has always wanted to release truth to His people, backed by the Word, of things that are found in heaven but have no earthly parallel. Jesus said: "If I have told you of earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?" (John 3:12)have He was expressing a desire to reveal things to us about what's happening in the spiritual realm that have no corresponding earthly picture. Isaiah 9:7 - "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end........." As His government increases in the earth, the Church will receive more and more revelation as we are engulfed in His glory. Affirmations: I COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE FATHER TO RELEASE ME INTO THE THINGS HE HAS PREDESTINED ME FOR SINCE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD. I HUNGER FOR AND RECEIVE REVELATION AS PART OF MY EVERYDAY LIFE. THAT REVELATION WILL HELP ME CARRY OUT MY EARTHLY ASSIGNMENTS WITH GREATER PRECISION AND WISDOM. John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches......apart from Me you can do nothing." We were born to consult God to find out His purpose for our lives so that we can discover our vision. Revelation 1:8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega." God is not only the Author of our vision but also our continuing Support as we progress toward its fulfillment. Prayer is what keeps us connected to the Vision-Giver. Prayer is where we receive the ability to continue the fight. Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." When you have been pressed, criticized, and opposed, you can become weak in faith. When people attack your dream, you go to God. You don't try to explain and give an answer for everything because you can't explain anything to critics. Their motives are already contaminated, and they'll use your words against you. Through prayer, God encourages us to get back out in the fight of faith. Psalm 27:1 - "The Lord is my light and my salvation - who shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?" Affirmations: SINCE I STAY CONNECTED TO GOD FOR THE RENEWAL OF MY PURPOSE, FAITH, AND STRENGTH - I WILL BE ABLE TO PERSEVERE TO VICTORY. I BASE MY PRAYERS ON GOD'S WORD TO BRING ME THROUGH DIFFICULTIES AND GIVE ME THE VICTORY THAT IS MINE. I STAY IN TOUCH WITH GOD SO THAT I AM NOURISHED IN BOTH LIFE AND VISION. "But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD's victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you!" - 2 Chronicles 20:17 God is the God of the breakthrough, but He uses our hands if you do your part, He will do His. Breakthrough happens when we take the first offensive step against the barriers in our life. Breakthrough happens when we say, "I m going to trust that God is going to supernaturally do the impossible." There is no progress without resistance: There is a spiritual battle over your breakthrough. We can only win the battle in the spirit. Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside of them was superior to their circumstances. His name is Jesus. Luke 9:62 - Jesus said to him. "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back (to the things behind) is fit for the kingdom of God. We are what the past has made us. Yet, we are commanded to not look back and to "forget.....what lies behind". With God, this is not impossible, for although the events of our lives are irreversible, our reactions to those events can still be changed. Philippians 3:13 - "But one thing I do (my one aspiration): forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead." As our reactions change, we change. Although we cannot alter the past, we can put our past upon the "altar" as an act of worship. A worshiping heart truly allows God to restore the soul. Romans 8:28 - "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God." The key for the fulfillment of this verse is that we become lovers of God in our spirits. When we are given to loving Him, all that we have passed through in life is washed in that love. It is redeemed and becomes good within us. Affirmations: GOD REACHES INTO MY EXPERIENCES AND REDEEMS ME FROM MY NEGATIVE REACTIONS. I FORGET MY PAST AND PRESS ON TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. EVER PRAISING GOD TRANSFORMS THE NEGATIVE ASSAULT OF THE ENEMY INTO A SPRING OF SWEET WATERS WHICH REFRESHES ME. 2 Corinthians 6:14,15 - "Do not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can light and darkness live together? How can Christ and the Devil agree?" Observation: EVERY RELATIONSHIP TAKES ME TOWARDS MY DREAMS OR AWAY FROM THEM. "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father." - John 1:14 When the Word became flesh, it didn’t just stop with Jesus. The Word is still becoming flesh as He tabernacles with you, living within your tent of flesh and blood and redeemed humanity. You are His habitation, His dwelling place, and He has established His throne within the chambers of your heart, as a living tabernacle of His glory. The Word becomes who you are DESTINED to be, within the realms of glory; of grace upon grace and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and favor upon favor and gift upon gift. For the Word must increase and consume your flesh, consume it and be glorified so that when they look upon you they will behold His Glory, and behold one who is indeed begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
